Fresh onion, cilantro, fresh hand pressed made on order corn tortillas, and a large plexiglass to see all the action inside!! No refried beans, only whole pinto! Proper flavors! Carne Asada (grilled thinly cut beef) has the traditional savor! Pollo Asado (grilled diced chicken) is pretty good, could use another visit to the flattop (solid surface grill) for light charring (flavor enhancing) but few places do this at risk of drying out this protein choice. They also offer Carnitas (pork) among a few other protein choices, which I would've tried had I opted for tacos. These guys are open from 7am to 11pm Monday through Wednesday and to 12am Thursday to Sunday. This is important because the rice was fully cooked and (properly flavorful!) but I had the slight dryness here too because I was ordering close to closing so I'm sure the morning rice is delicious! This is the only reason I'm taking a star off. These two young guys are dedicated to out do themselves and places like Taco Bell every single day of the week! I'm ashamed to admit that I did not get to sample the salsa but it was roasted and looked to be a mild red and a nice habenero (*mouth waters writing this!*) because I still had 3 hours driving to go! From placing the order and paying with card (they support Square, Apple Pay, Google Pay, all major credit cards, and cash) to receiving 2 large burritos I'll be surprised if these guys don't grow their business and you see them at other places along the 101!! My background: my mom was born in Jalisco, I've eaten my way through Mexico (La Paz, Cabo, Guadalajara, P. Vallarta, Aguas Caliente, Mexico City, Monterey, etc), California, and other US states to the east coast.

Quesabirrias are really good. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. Will come back again :)read more
