Amazing! I was shocked by the size of my Pescado taco, especially for the price. Picture a piping hot fish filet perfectly cooked with a light, crispy crust and hand-held with a just-off-the-griddle tortilla. You know you're getting something special when they're making fresh tortillas right inside the truck. The crispy ends of the filet overflowed each side of the tortilla, but was made aesthetically cohesive with a drizzle of colorful sauces and a complement of crunchy slaw. So, so good, and so unexpectedly huge. I would never have ordered an additional Avocado taco if I'd understood how massive the fish taco would be, but both were incredible -- well worth the price and the short wait. Regarding service at this food truck, they hand you a buzzer so you can wander away, but we didn't go far and so it wasn't clear how far you might go. Literally some of the best tacos I've had, but their business practice needs to be better. I drove across town and I got there at 7pm to get a few tacos but they told me that they were closed because it was "a slow day", Even though the day I went, on their social media it said they close at 8pm. At least put a post on your social media saying you were closing early but they didn't. Disappointed, as I was walking away, 2 other guys were walking towards the food truck but as soon as we locked eyes, they knew what happened. I told them "they're closed" and one of the guys said "they're closed?!?!" And he sounded all disappointed. They immediately lost 3 customers because they closed early. read more

Their name says it all ...this food truck serving up delicious and creative tacos of every kind is an absolute must for taco lovers everywhere! I would like to mention that this is a veteran owned and operated taco truck here in the central Coast, wonderfully clean and very presentable. The food is delicious! And when I say delicious boy o boy I mean it!! We had a fish taco , jalapeño pepper popper taco coconut, shrimp taco pork belly taco el pastor and the mar y tierra (favorite of mine) all of them were so so delicious as you see I had a favorite, but they were all handcrafted to perfection with homemade tortillas just the right amount of salsa and flavors. They even have their own orange sauce that was quite impressive. The service was great and fast, especially them being taco truck to get this type of quality out in a timely manner is amazing. They also have pagers that they will give you once you made your order so you can go hang out in your car or run to CVS while you wait as you see in the pictures how delicious and impressive they look again you will not be disappointed, if you make it down to the southside to get a plate they are located between Luckys and CVS and they are parked right by a tree with a grassy knoll so if it is a beautiful day you have a picnic place! Not what I would imagine when someone says 'tacos', but by far my favorite tacos in Salinas. Yes they are small and maybe a little more expensive than your average taco but they're totally worth it. Our family goes here a few times a month, and what we love is that they have a different menu depending on the day. Taco Tuesday has amazing carne asada fries and mulitas, which you don't find everywhere. Delish! Birria Wednesday because...who doesn't love to dunk quesabirrias in consommé?!?! So tasty! We went to the Salinas Farmers Market on Saturday morning and ventured up and down the street to see what options we had to shop for and eat. In the end we wanted some taco's and tried Sabor. The tortillas are freshly made, they are thick and don't crumble and we got some fish and asada taco's that were both delicious. I have dreams about it!
