Hubby and I just came by for some lunch. He was craving tacos. Came over to Tacos El Roy #2 (cute). Lady taking our order was super sweet. I ordered 3 asada tacos mild, hubby ordered 6 asada tacos, with 3 mild 3 hot with a side of grilled onions and jalapeños. Gave us a beeper and only waited less than 10mins. Flavors were perfect. Meat was seasoned well. Mild and hot sauces were perfect. Not too spicy. Everything was fresh. Definitely will be back.

Terrible Greasy "Burrito". Literally dripped from my fingers

When I say I never make reviews because I can let some things fly when it comes to cooking. But when I say this place was absolutely terrible, the owner or whatever she is helped me with the order she simply replied that people normally like her food and that she couldn't do much. My wife is pregnant and had waited all day for me to get out of work to enjoy a meal together, when I say we both were ready to tear these burritos up, when I started to eat it literally started to drop with grease at every bite, to appease my hungry pregnant wife I chose to eat through it until she couldn't. We took it back to show them how literally bad it was, and the owner was trying to say burritos come like that, No THEY DONT, I have a stomach ache now and it's literally the most terrible burrito experience I've ever had, I will never go here again and they can keep my money that didn't give me the rest of due to them being eaten, making you feel as if the food was magically greasy. It's a small little place next to a liquor store and bets believe it'll remain there. WORST BURRITOS EVER, I've literally never had to write one of these!

Great taco cart in rancho. Portions are generous and the flavors are delicious. It's a bit on the greasy side but that's not necessarily a bad thing right?! Be sure to hit this spot if you are in the area.

I'm all about trying good food trucks, especially Mexican food, so I was excited about seeing the good reviews on this place. I liked that it's in the same parking lot as a convenience store so there's a good amount of parking and you could pick up drinks or snacks if you wanted haha. The staff was nice and they had good options on the menu, but the wait time was very long, which I was not expecting. I ordered a quesadilla and the flavors were really good, but there wasn't enough cheese so it was basically falling apart. I am open to trying their other items however!

Food was decent but upset that I just spent $50 bucks on tacos and burritos and asked for extra salsa and got none. I even tipped them and the lady said there was salsas in my bag. I got home unpacked my bag and there wasn't even 1 salsa, very disappointing!

Torta with carnitas, créma, mayo, lettuce, tomato, hot sauce and jalapeño. Delish!

Really good grilled al pastor burrito. Loved the torta. The bread is deliciously grilled with a light crispness. Fillings were good and well balanced. Carnitas tasted just a little bit salty. I think that's me preferring less salt but I think most people would like it. Rice is super delicious. Recommend! Hot and authentic. Hot sauce was kicky but not overpowering. Horchata was amaaaazing! Try it!

It's a nice restaurant, with seating on the inside and the outside. That's good, because they can. get busy. The employees are very friendly It's a very large menu, ranging from things such as your standard tacos, tortas, and burritos, to things such as seafood cocktails, molcajete, which is a Mexican stew, to posole. They have Menudo on the weekend, and also on the weekend, they have a person right in the dining room, making fresh, hot , tortillas on the spot. There is a small chips and salsa bar. The chips are very good, as are the salsas. My favorite has always been the avocado salsa, creamy with just a little bit of a kick to it. Today, I decided to go simple. I had a shredded chicken, super nachos, and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla didn't look like much, but it was very big. There was a lot of delicious Monterey Jack cheese in it. They were very generous with the cheese. The nachos didn't look very big, but they were. The chicken was tender. And delicious, and I loved the guacamole and the sour cream. The salsa had a nice little kick to it And as I mentioned before, the chips were fantastic, not greasy at all. For all I got, the price was very reasonable. I will continue to come back. Thank you.

They have odd hours closing at 7pm but worth it to stop by! Since we came in so close to closing, they were out of beans and al pastor but they even offered to make a new batch of beans for us!! Extremely nice of them to offer. We declined seeming it was our fault for the timing. I got their taco salad with steak and my husband got their California burrito with carne asada. I loved my taco salad and the crispy shell was soooo good. We also got their side of chips and guac. They give you a choice between corn and flour tortilla chips! We got a mix of both and they definitely make them in house and fresh to order. They were amazing. The flour was our favorite actually! Guac was great as well. The building is pretty unassuming from the outside since it's in a business park and the inside has a good amount of seating but it is a walk up and order type of restaurant. They do bring the food out to your table, but we were also the only ones there. Majority of the people coming were grabbing it to go. Lastly they have a salsa bar with a good variety of salsa's which I always love! I'll definitely be coming back and trying more of their options.

I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. I was headed to Burger King but changed my mind when I eyed Taco Express across the parking lot. Well I spotted a large inflatable shaped as the Taco Express character waving his arm. It was Tuesday, the special of the day was $1.50 crispy tacos. The meat choices were chicken, ground beef, and beef. I ordered four of those, a side of rice, and chips n salsa. The total with tax was $12 something. The green salsa had a spicy kickyness but without the heat. The red salsa had a lingering, bold hot spiciness. I tried it and it burned. The tacos weren't bad at all. The meats weren't greasy. The taco shells were fresh fried, without the greasiness. Now here's what made it even better--this used to be a Taco Bell back in the day, so let me just say... the taco energy in this building is deeply rooted. The tortilla spirits were already working overtime before I even walked in. I stepped inside, got greeted right away, and placed my order for carne asada tacos and a drink. Simple. Efficient. Exactly what the pre-movie mission required. But here's where things got impressive... I swear the second I paid, my food was basically already waiting for me like it had somehow known I was coming. And unless I missed someone hiding in the back doing ninja-level prep work, I'm pretty sure the young lady up front was running the whole operation. She was taking my order, working the drive-thru headset, handling everything, and still keeping it smooth like it was just another regular day. That kind of hustle deserves respect. Now let's talk tacos. These carne asada tacos came out hot, flavorful, and straight-up comforting. The kind of flavor that doesn't taste like "fast food trying to be tacos"--nah, these tasted like somebody's grandma would absolutely approve. And if the food gives "abuela would nod in silence and keep cooking," that's a compliment of the highest order. Every bite hit. The meat had flavor, the tacos were put together right, and for a quick stop before a movie, this absolutely overdelivered. The place was easy, the service was fast, and the whole stop felt like one of those hidden little wins you're glad you trusted. In all, Taco Express did exactly what it needed to do... Quick. Flavorful. No nonsense. Strong taco ancestry. And honestly, if this building was once a Taco Bell and has now evolved into this... that's character development. Will I be back? Yeah... because movie plans and tacos are a dangerous combo.
