We hit this truck on a Taco Tuesday (cheap!), and ordered one lengua, one chicken, one cabeza, and one buche taco. The lengua was the most expensive, at $2, while the others were only a buck and a quarter. At that price, who could resist? These were no bargain basement street tacos, though. They had plenty of filling, and with a small squeeze of lime (provided) and a drizzle of salsa (choose from 4), they were all delicious. I can't decide if I prefer the buche or the lengua...I'll probably have to have several more of each before I figure that out. From ordering to getting the food, it probably took about five minutes, and the guy at the window was friendly and efficient. You want ambiance from a taco truck? I suppose you could sit at Starbucks' outdoor tables, although the coffee folks probably wouldn't like it. There's a low wall that's perfect for perching your butt on, though. The only drawback, shared with every other taco truck: no place to wash your hands. You're probably gonna want to wash your hands, because it'll be tough to eat your tacos neatly. This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! I remember that the spot they are in used to be Taco La Dona, and to be honest, I was skeptical at first, thinking they wouldn't be as good, especially when they kept adding "bells & whistles" to their signage, LOL. Boy, was I totally wrong! After trying 3 different taco trucks in one night, I found Tacos Jalisco to be the best, and most reasonably priced! The menu was pretty straightforward, but quite extensive. Staff here were also very helpful and friendly - and though there are no tables, they did have some stools and a small bar you can sit at to eat your food. I ordered the Pastor to keep consistent with the taste testing, but I was intrigued by their Buche as well. The Pastor was very flavorful, very fresh tasting and not overly sweet. But their salsa verde was probably my favorite, with a good kick and not watered down. They were very nice and gave us extra onions & potato as well - I didn't dare try it just in case it was cooked in beef, but my family did and they thought it was super delicious! I have to say the Buche was probably my favorite taco of all time hands down, and I will be coming back here as often as possible to get that - it was moist, flavorful, crispy on the edges, and sooooo tasty!!! The only slight negative was figuring out where to park - yes, they are right by Starbucks, but I'm not sure if we can park there if we are not getting Starbucks drinks. You'd have to park on the street further up and walk back if you miss the spot right in front of their truck. Not their fault at all - makes me wonder too, if they are able to pull up further... Best priced tacos in the area, and looking forward to coming again for more! read more

Came here because I was in the Santa Anita area and had a craving for some tacos. Went on a Tuesday because they have tacos for $1.50. Ordered three Al Pastor tacos and one Asada. Also a horchata for $3. This place has no integrity and the guy taking orders at the window is a dishonest shady crook. I gave him a $20 and he only gave me a $1 back. Total was supposed to be $9 for the food and drink. These tacos are mid and that pissed me off after I realized I had been scammed. Check your change after you order from this spot. read more

This is by far my FAVORITE taco truck in SGV. I want to so badly gatekeep this place but I also feel like it definitely deserves to have recognition and lots of business! I've been a die hard Taco La Dona fan for years, ever since it had been at the location Tacos Jolisco is now. So trying new taco trucks feels like I'm cheating on my life long taco spot. But I'm sooooooo glad I gave this place a try! It's SO FLAVORFUL! Never dry, the perfect amount of oily goodness, and extremely full of meat! Every bite is worth it. So happy that a taco truck is nearby in Arcadia thats decently priced with yummy tacos! The taco truck is located outside of McDonald's and every time I've been there has always been people there. My usual order is asada tacos with a pineapple juice drink. I am very happy with their prices here I think they also have a special for taco Tuesday. The tacos are great street tacos and they provide grilled onions if you ask which is a huge plus for me. They have 3 sauces located on the side of the truck but often times they're out or really low on them. I hope that they continue to flourish and I'll be back very soon! read more

Cabeza Quesadilla Plate I ordered the pork belly - Super good! Amazing . I was hesitate earlier before I placed the order, as I didn't know the difference between pork belly and carnitas. I wanted to try the pork belly but was afraid that it is fatty or oily. The 2 guys from the truck were so so nice, they explained to me patiently and even cut some pork belly to let me try! . The moment I saw the meat from the samples I then realized that their pork belly is whet we refer to as pork stomach. Then, I immediately placed an order as I love pork stomach . Besides, it's very nice and clean when I looked at the truck and its surroundings, you can see they are trying their best to keep everything at a higher standard . Thumbs up for them! I was craving tacos and really didn't want to go to our usual Taco Truck on Las Tunas near Jefferson Jr High. They started getting expensive and their prices seem to change on a daily basis, I know this because I would order the same thing and the total would be different each time, plus they would bump the price $3 more if you use your card. I remember seeing this one on Rosemead and Duarte next to McDonald's and wanted to try the out. I approached the window and asked the guy if I could try their al pastor before I ordered...and they were kind enough to give me a sample. It was not disappointing, is was juicy and well seasoned...it was freaking delicious. My husband who is not a big fan of al pastor tried it and he was impressed and ended up eating the rest of it as I ordered. 1 Carne Asada burrito for my older son, 1 Al Pastor burrito for me, Nachos for my husband, 1 cheese only quesadilla for my younger son, 5 Carne Asada tacos, originally ordered 5 Al Pasto tacos than made it 10 since I already knew my husband liked it...the total came to $54, I gave the guy $60 and put the change in the tip charge. Big difference in price and taste. They post their menu and prices on the truck, where Tacos La Dona doesn't....gives them that ability to charge you whatever they want. read more

This is our favorite taco truck! We've been many times and it doesn't disappoint. I've eaten pastor tacos, chorizo and asada mulitas. Oh and can't forget the grilled onions with the potato. We arrived at this location around 9pm. The truck was lit up nicely. The cashier was friendly. They ONLY take cash or zelle (No Cards). We ordered the Tacos, Mulitas and the nachos. The Buche and Asada ARE my favorite! The sides (grilled onions, cooked potato, and peppers) were unexpected surprise and really tasty. I went there with the intent of buying a few tacos to try their different meats, so I could make a better decision of which burrito to buy; but their tacos were SOOO GOOOOOD that I just bought more. Ended up having the two Asada, one Pastor, one Cabeza, and four Buche tacos (don't judge me...lol, they were that good). I will be back for the rest. Their service is great too! I had been struggling to find a good mexican food place near me since i moved to East san gabriel. Every place I had tried near me was always lacking flavor, and i finally found a spot with good food. This taco truck has decent prices, and i really liked their asada tacos. Whenever i try a new mexican food place, i always try their tacos first because its the most basic thing you can get. If they can't get a taco right, then i won't even bother with the rest of their food. My boyfriend also really liked the al pastor burritos and said it was packed with flavor. So happy to see a taco truck near me. I have tried their tacos, tortas, mulitas and sopes all delicious. The asada is tender, the chorizo and pastor all yummy too. I'm usually picky about the lengua but the lengua is tender and absolutely delicious. I like that they give grilled chiles and onions on the side as well as radishes and cucumbers.
