We weren't originally going to go here but the name was intriguing! My family and I came (we're not from the area and my family is kind of picky). I immediately appreciated the outdoor seating. It's always good to have that option for those who love eating outdoors when the weather allows. We started with the chori-queso and tortillas and wow, it was so very delicious. The tortillas seemed to be freshly made so that's always a major PLUS for us. The horchata was different but not bad at all, I enjoyed the different flavor than what I'm used to. The aguas are freshly made too so the flavor is natural and just right. I hate to disappoint but I wasn't able to try everything my family had because I was so in love with my caldo de pescado y camarón (fish and shrimp soup). It was flavorful and it didn't have a bunch of grease sitting on top of the soup which I'm appreciative of. It was accompanied with yellow rice and a bolillo bread. Amazingly delicious! It was my first time having that fish soup and boy, I was amazed. I wondered why I had been sleeping on it for so long!!! It's a Mexico food experience without all the... consequences. I wondered why they had orange cones along the side road that flanks this restaurant... drive up service! Sure, sit inside, sit outside in the seasonable weather, or don't even get out of your car! Anything that didn't directly relate to the food ordering process had to be spoken in Spanish, because I tell ya, our waitress didn't speak a word of it. Pero era interesante practicar mi Español con los camareras. Tacos were great. Small, but four for $9 with varying meats, a drink, and a bounty of sides is a perfect meal. The beans were tasty if not a bit watery. But hard to complain about this really authentic Mexican food experience. It even came with its own built-in souvenir! A Mexican Coke bottle! Best Mexican food in Laredo. The carne asada burrito is excellent. Good service. Can't recommend enough.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, love to order for pick up. The sea food taste good and it's well cooked, sushi is not bad either and rolls are of good size. I like getting the seafood platter for 1 and it's more than enough food to feed 2 people and the prices are reasonable. read more

Someone posted a menu that advertise "enchiladas callejeras," but when I got to the place it just said red enchiladas. I asked if they served coke or Pepsi and they told me it's coke. So we ordered two cokes and two red enchiladas. They brought us two Mexican Coca-Colas, which you can never deny, and later the enchiladas. Each time different waiters. I didn't like the enchiladas, the suizas from Danny's tasted better. I'm giving 3 stars because service was not good. I've been to Tacos Kissi on the south location and received better service and food also tasted better. read more

Fantastic grilled tilapia with steamed veggies, salad with a great dressing, rice and fresh bread. Plus complimentary chips with a plate of four salsas and other accoutrements. Wow! Plus speedy and friendly service! The fish is delicioso without the tartar sauce, but that sauce is wonderful, too. Love this place! read more

I find myself at this place when I don't feel like cooking. Tasty tacos and tortas, can't seem to think of anything that I've had there is didn't like. tripita tacos seem to be a challenge here in laredo to get them right, some cook them too raw, some over cook and Tacos Kissi well... DOESNT FREAKIN CLEAN THEM RIGHT!! ohh man if you want to lose your teeth hear me out... 3 times a pebble in my damn taco... 3 is too many!!! they even have a disclaimer that there are possible pebbles in their tripas due to their cleaning process what is wrong with this place? its not damn hard to feel a ROCK unless you have some nerve issue on your hand which is more of a reason to NOT be COOKING in the first place, step up your sanitary game, your other tacos are fairly decent but if these are the tripita tacos it concerns me how you treat everything else!!! read more

Food portions are a joke for the price they are charging. My husband and I mostly order to pick up because we prefer to quickly pick the food and go home, but every time you arrive for your food they'll make you wait another five to ten minutes because they forget about the drinks. i don't know if it's because they actually forget about them, don't write it down or they just find it bothersome to fill a cup with a drink and ice, but every single time we both or separately have been there to pick up orders they keep doing the same. read more
