So glad our uber recommended this spot, it was sooo good we almost went back! Super quick service too!

A must go to place for tacos in CDMX!!! I can't emphasize how delicious these tacos are! There was a short line when we arrived and we waited for appx. 15-20 and it was so worth it. As soon as your seated you have chips and a variety of salsas all ranging from mild to HOT! We got a Chicharron de queso which is fried cheese rolled into a burrito looking thing it takes like cheese crisps! We got two sopes one with al Pastor and the other Arrachera. Nopal with Bistek and tripe tacos. The meets were cooked to perfection with a ton of flavor and the salsas just added that extra bit of goodness! Although they are packed the services is great and everyone is friendly and answered any questions we had! We always love going to a great taco place in MX. Can't wait to be back!

Cheap tacos that come out quickly and taste decent. They also come with a selection of sauces and limes. I recommend the Al pastor but the steak was also tasty and flavorful.

I agree that it's good, the tacos here are really solid. They're super juicy, the tortillas are fresh and buttery, and they put these crispy onions or garlic on them which is like their signature thing and really elevates each taco. They only do three things here: al pastor, carne asada de res, and chicharron. I really like the way they slice the beef in the carne asada, I'd say that was my favorite thing here but honestly everything was good. We tried the chicharron as a costra (cheese inside the tortilla), and that made the taco a little too big and difficult to eat, still good though. They also do a stellar, cold hibiscus agua fresca. Anywhere else in the world I'd say this is an easy 5/5, but there are so many better taco options in Mexico City. In fact most street vendors and random little shops you walk into will typically give you a more authentic, rich, flavorful taco that isn't too loaded. The tacos here aren't bad by any means, they're just more a gourmet style and it's just a little touristy in there. It's not really necessary to come back here if there are infinite options for better, cheaper tacos steps away. I'm surprised locals recommended this place honestly.

The restaurant seating does give mall food court vibes, but that's ok i wasn't looking for anything fancy. All the wait staff and servers were very friendly and attentive at all times. Food does not take long at all to come out. Overall the food was disappointing. The only taco that was decent and had some flavor was the chicken taco(pechuga). Quite literally everything else was flavorless. The sauces on the side were the saving grace for every item of food I ordered. The ribeye taco was soaked in grease, which made eating it messy. The chuleta taco had no flavor and i would even say tasted bad. I do not recommend it. The food is definitely overpriced, especially considering the area and the amount of taco vendors that sell better tacos. Now what made this experience terrible was my waiter. I ask for the check and the total was $1139. I told him i was paying cash and i put down $1150 cash. He then taps at the receipt saying there's a mandatory tip and service fee. So he added on $100 to the bill right there on the spot. I analyze the receipt he handed to me and none of this is reflected on the receipt. I refused to argue so i put down the extra $100 and asked for the change. Tipping isn't mandatory especially for a table of 2. So i feel the waiter just made this up. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY and save some money. Theres better tasting food at way better prices in the area.

This place is more of an expensive taco spot in Mexico City and more of a chain than anything. I wouldn't recommend as your first tacos in the city but was still good and satisfied my hunger. The patio was very inviting, so even though it was a bit chilly we sat outside. Our waiter was great, he was also busy, but we got our orders in and received in a reasonable amount of time. The cocktails were off the charts. Honestly can't remember what they were, we got two with Mayan honey and spices, and they were phenomenal. So fruity and spicy and served in an aesthetically pleasing way. One was the cocktail of the month, Aperol and mezcal, why not? Tasted like a, "fruity fireplace," according to our friend to which we wholeheartedly agreed. They gave us each an elote amuse bouche which was a tasty surprise and got us ready for more tastiness. Had a variety of tacos that we all enjoyed immensely. Cauliflower-both types were equally good. Birria queso was incredibly rich and just saturated with flavor-in the best way possible. Had esquites with blue corn and ham croquettes that we thoroughly enjoyed, especially the side salsas. Definitely had to do some negotiating when divvying them up since all of use could have eaten more. This place is not inexpensive, you will drop some money here, especially since you'll want to keep trying cocktails and tacos, but it's worth it. Name on the door was Maiz y Tinto, so that confused me for a bit.

Edgar was our waiter and he was super awesome! Food- one of my favorite meals while in Mexico City! We didn't order much because we were full from a meal before but ordered what we could. What we got: MUST HAVE AGAIN: 1. If you like octopus: Tacos de carnitas de pulpo (fried octopus carnitas). This didn't seem fried but oh my gosh it was SO tender and fresh and flavorful! Our whole table LOVED this. Highly recommend. 2. Scallop tostadas!! SO fresh/refreshing! 3. Fig Tart- It was so good! Tasted kind of like a fig cheesecake. We heard it was the most popular desert and got lucky because our waiter Edgar saved it for us!! Thank you so much Edgar! Tasty but would go for something else next time: 1. Tacos de esmedregal al pastor: Al pastor fish, onions, cilantro, pineapple I didn't get the soft shell crab taco but heard it was delicious so thought I'd toss that here!
