I think the specialty here is the al pastor. Also, I think I've been to maybe one of their other locations that was a truck, but this is their first brick and mortar location. When I came during a week night, place wasn't busy and it was really chill. When I walked in, I was greeted and helped right away by some friendly people. I think this place came on my radar because of the Eater LA list. So the recommendation was the gringa. I ordered an extra taco on the side because I wanted to try the al pastor in taco form. Honestly, I could've just had the gringa and it would've plenty. It's like a large mulita and when you order the al pastor, it also comes with chunks of pineapple. I topped my food with their delicious salsas and went to town. This place is great. Such a good value and really delicious food. Because the area wasn't busy at the time, there was plenty of street parking. read more

Phenomenal tacos as usual! This was our go-to taco stand during COVID and we were devastated when they were forced out of the area but now extremely happy they're back with a permanent location. Regarding their tacos, they didn't miss a beat. Al Pastor will always be my favorite. Another comment mentioned their salsas weren't on ice however they're now kept in an electric refrigerated condiment station. I want to shout out the attentive staff who checked on us throughout our meal and were extremely friendly. I just had a couple of lengua tacos from Tacos Los Palomos which is having their grand opening on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 @ 4722 W. Florida Ave., Hemet, CA. My wife happened to pick them up after an appointment in the area. The tacos were very tasty. The two mini corn tortillas are packed with enough meat that you can separate them and make two tacos! We will definitely be going back and we're going to go ahead and recommend that you give them a try. Plenty of parking available. She never gave us any of our drinks but was still trying to charge for them as well as a side of rice. Whoever owns this place really need to put someone in charge that knows what they're doing. And knows how to work the cash register. I ended up being overcharged and she kept saying how she wasn't over charging me that it was the register. Like how ridiculous does she sound. Just got outta the trenches and had an appetite for street tacos. My daughter found this location on maps. We decided to give it a try being that it had 4.5 stars. Little did we know how dangerous these tacos are; especially the Al Pastor the way the flavors compliment each others well cooked ingredients left us craving for more. The food is still great and their prices are reasonable but the service at this location seems really poor. The wait is slow and the servers don't seem prepared. I was in disbelief, if I wanted instant coffee I would've stayed at home. Not to mention the red chilaquiles tasted like nothing, the chile was not spicy at all. They even charged us for an agua de piña that they never brought us. Never brought my son his drink, we practically had to beg for silverware and more coffee creamer. Then we decide to leave and asked if they could charge us just for the drinks THAT WE DID NOT DRINK. She struggled for 10 min trying to charge us and mentioned it was not her fault that they were taking long. We mentioned we didn't even drink our drinks and she said it was not her fault. Then she charged us 20 dollars for 3 drinks that WE DID NOT DRINK there is no prices on the menu that should have been a red flag. My bill was $50 and some change, I left a cash tip, yet someone from there must have changed my 5 into a 6 and helped themselves to an extra $10 tip. They have a salsa bar with all the fixings for your food and a good variety of aguas frescas. I was at the Garvey location with my family there over the weekend after seeing a review on social media. All the food looked appetizing. I must say we did have a large party of 8 and was expecting a bit of a wait. However, after ordering we were not served our food until after over an hour of waiting for our meals. Moreover, there were dishes that were still not prepared and we had to wait more for two dishes. Halfway into our meal we noticed that the bread on a torta we ordered was moldy (by this time the torta was halfway eaten) needless to say, no one wanted to eat any more food afterwards. In very disappointed. The staff also seems like they lack training and don't really communicate on the status of the meal or check in at all. I was very disappointed. read more

The Service is always good never disappoints, either by yourself or with family and friends the ambiance is always good except for 1-2 costumers that are always in need of attention, they feel the need to be notice by ringing the service bell way to many times. Please don't do that it's annoying for other people specially for workers who I want to guess don't say anything out of respect but you can see their faces how uncomfortable you can get with costumers with lack of respect for others.
