Beach Blvd. and 21st St., from 4pm-10:30pm, that's Tacos Tejuino's regular perch. But there's also another, one lesser known... On Sundays, from about 11am-3pm, they're parked along Plaza St. and Olive St., next to Sigler Park and across from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Tacos Tejuino is tiny, a mini-trailer upon a pick-up hitch. They're fast and affordable, churning out taco after taco as Mass comes to a close and before the next commences. I wouldn't say Tejuino is spectacular, but they are tasty, what you've come to expect and possibly not much more. Chicken and asada tacos served with a smile and at a great price!

Amazing taco food truck!!! My friend and I always drive by it on beach blvd and today we decided to pull over and try the tacos. Let me just say the tacos are delicious and some of the best I have ever had and the price is right too. We tried the birria, tripas, chorizo, carne asada and papa and we truly loved them all. We will be coming back real soon!! Our favorite was the birria .. it's very delicate to make and Alejandra the cook nailed it!! Thank you so much and we can't wait to be back soon. Muchas gracias!!!

I come to this spot regularly. This gals got good, cheap and quick tacos, sopes, flautas, huaraches, hot dogs... Anyway, I got talking to the owner the other night and found out she also does catering. So if your looking for someone to cater your party she can be reached at 714-853-2547. I enjoyed another batch of fine tacos last night as well and some bottled Mexican Coca Cola. Mmmm, good!

Wednesday-Thursday 4-10:30 pm Friday -Saturday 4-12 am Sun 4-10:30 pm Try them out they are located on 13659 beach blv.

We had tacos de adobada y carne asada. I say they were descent tacos. Salsa was spicy but very tasteful. Overall tacos were great.

Whenever we're in the area and see the truck, there's always a crowd, and we always stop by to grab some food. They've never disappointed us. Their salsa is one of our favorite parts--it's flavorful with a good spicy kick. Our usual order: Carne Asada - 7/10 Tender, but a little on the dry side. Lengua - 8/10 Super tender and full of flavor. Al Pastor - 8/10 Well-seasoned with a nice char. Mulitas - 9/10 One of our favorites! Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Lengua Quesadilla - 9/10 Loaded with tender lengua and definitely worth ordering. We recommend this spot to all of our friends. There's plenty of parking, and the truck is well lit at night. Although the surrounding street is fairly quiet in the evening, it's an easy and convenient stop if you're craving authentic street tacos.

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

I used to come here on Taco Tuesdays only because the tacos were $1 and the line at El May is always too long. I chose convenience over taste, but in the end, this place offers neither. On my last visit, I waited about 40 minutes for my tacos. I ordered six and only managed to eat three before realizing I had overpaid and that the $1 tacos weren't worth my time or the effort it took to chew them. I threw the remaining three straight into the trash. I genuinely chose to go hungry rather than finish them. The meat and tortillas were both bad, and the portion sizes were pitiful. I honestly don't recommend this place at all, especially when Tacos El May is literally right next door.

Taquería Mexico: The Incredible Shrinking Taco…read more I remember when this place had lines out the door. Cinco de Mayo, I'm craving tacos, I show up expecting chaos. There's 3 people ahead of me. Jackpot, right? Wrong. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee. Sad, because I _want_ to support brick-and-mortar spots. But not when they're actively shrinking my dinner. Giving them 3 stars on Yelp because I was raised right. Real score: 4.8/10. The pics on their site are pure fiction from 2012. Don't believe me? I took a pic of the meat on my scale as evidence. CSI: Taco Division. Do better, Taquería Mexico. This is shameful.
