White rice in a super burrito. And it was uncooked! Flavorless
Star R.

I came here for the first time, food was not great. Unseasoned everything and rice is uncooked , I never had white rice in a super burrito. No salsa and no salsa on the side either. I ended up making my own . I wouldn't recommend or come here again.

Love this place! The tacos are pretty big at a decent price. I also love that they have keto options as well! Highly recommend.

Visited to test out for catering an event, and the staff went above and beyond. We love that all workers are vaccinated, but the best part...Everything was DELICIOUS!!! They have 4 different chefs who have developed an extensive menu and you can't go wrong. Great vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options! New favorite restaurant in Santa Rosa. 11/10

Not the best service and the food wasn't really seasoned well. Won't be going back anymore. Had high hopes.

I love that you can try different taco trucks and support so many local businesses all in one…read moreplace. The aguachiles from Cora is one of my favorite dishes in the park. It's the perfect combination of refreshing and spicy, and they use the dark sauce (salsa negra) which is my favorite style. The quesadillas from Victoria are next level and are big enough for two to share. I recently enjoyed tacos from Lucha Subina and they were delicious. The tortillas were super fresh and the meat was perfectly grilled. I love that many of the trucks here use handmade tortillas. They often have music playing, and the bar has some excellent drinks as well. There's also a dessert truck (Churroteka) where you can purchase churro to finish off your delicious meal.

The five of us ventured out to find Mitote Food Park. We had heard it had moved from its original…read morespot but it was still located on Sebastopol Road. It is easy to find and they have a parking lot which was convenient. As we entered the area we could see many food trucks parked near each other, sort of in a circle. There is also a large canopy over the entire middle with lots of picnic tables and additional seating under patio umbrellas. Music was playing but we found only three trucks open and serving lunch on this Wed. I saw a churro truck but sadly it was closed too. We visited all three trucks to check out their menus and I decided to order a quesadilla at Lucha Sabina. Some people near us were enjoying something called a Tlayuda from this same truck and it looked amazing! I will have to give that a try next time with my husband because it is big enough to serve two. I had heard that the mushroom tacos were delicious so I asked if they could make a mushroom quesadilla and she said yes. She mentioned avocado would make it extra tasty so of course I added it. I'm so glad she offered that up because it was a key ingredient in my yummy quesadilla. It was grilled perfectly and I was all smiles from the first bite. This place was a hit with all my buddies too. We liked that they gave us each a beeper so we could sit down and chat until our food was ready. My friends all enjoyed their selections but none of us tried anything exotic, just tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. People working were very personable and helpful. We'll have to come back during dinner hour as I'm sure there will be more food trucks warming up their grills to satisfy everyone's cravings.

So I was in the area for an event at another business, but I had been hearing about this place on…read moresocial media for months. Some on social media even going as far as saying this taco truck having the best burrito in the entire Bay Area, rated higher than heavyweights like La Taqueria in the mission or La Piñata in Vallejo. That's a pretty bold statement-one I wanted to find out if it could possibly be true. Getting there was easy enough as it was on our way home from Windsor, with just a brief detour needed to get to this legendary spot. Funny thing, the street that this truck is located reminds me of driving down Northgate Blvd in Sacramento in that in order to get to the taco truck,I literally had to pass 10+ other trucks and taquerias-a true taco haven of a street. Got me thinking they must be pretty good if they standout with such stiff competition so nearby. They are located in a parking lot,so parking is plentiful-so no issue there. When I got there I ended up ordering a Super Burrito with Carne Asada($12.00) and a Taco Dorado with Carne Asada($4.00) They mostly spoke Spanish when taking my order but they did speak English to my friend who was with me at the taco truck. We got our food pretty fast and it came with some of their very special salsa that came with the order. Let's talk about that crunchy taco dorado first-This may be the best carne asada crunchy taco I've ever had-I wish I had caught that 1st bite on video as the crunch sound was everything one could ever hope to get from a dorado taco. The Super Burrito was truly everything they said it would be.The tortilla had the most perfect toasty taste that only comes from being toasted perfectly. The mixture of the ingredients was flawless, every bite gave you a full taste of every ingredient-this is an underrated thing when searching for the best burrito and the seasonings of the carne asada-yeah as good as it gets. These people should truly offer a masterclass in burrito making as a finer carne asada burrito I have yet to have. The 2 items I ordered from them on this visit were of the highest ratings I could give and I don't know if I will ever find another spot that could compete with El Roy's Express Mex. Now here is where it gets tricky-I've heard not all 5 locations of El Roy's are created equal-I was told to seek out this location as it was the best of the bunch,so since I haven't tried the other locations,I can only vouch for my food experience here. One day I hope to try the others and see if there is a difference, but for now I can say without hesitation that the food served at El Roy's on Sebastopol Rd is as good of a taste experience as one could ever hope for. PS-The orange salsa they give with your order is just dynamite-super tasty without burning you ouI only wish they bottled it and sold it so I could enjoy it at home.A must try.

Absolute perfection. The shrimp burrito here is an absolute must-try--packed with perfectly cooked,…read morejuicy shrimp and tons of flavor. But don't sleep on the crispy tacos (tacos dorados); they have that flawless, satisfying crunch you're always chasing. Pro Tip: Ask for grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, and their pickled veggies on the side. It elevates everything to a whole new level! Outstanding food and great service.

Tasty. Lots of bold flavors. Each item has a distinctive dressing. Big portions…read more Nice people. Friendly and happy. Not five stars because: Plate presentation is sloppy. There are so many ingredients that are smothered in various salsas it's impossible to see what you're eating. Tacos are so overloaded that unless you are a magician it's impossible to eat the thing in hand without dropping half of the contents. I know, it's not really a problem because you do get a plastic fork. Three tacos for $16 seems a bit steep. Relax, it is a full meal that even this hungry man with a canine appetite was satisfied upon completion. Are there better fish / seafood tacos in Santa Rosa? I haven't discovered any. Located on exceptionally noisy Sebastopol road in the heart of "downtown" Roseville. Ambiance is loud and the eating area is kind'a grimy. Though kudos to the vendors who have clean up crews who cruise the picnic tent. Glad that I tried the place. Doubt that I'll ever go back.

I will say that the seafood is very fresh and tasty. However, someone in that kitchen is very heavy handed with the tasty sauces for each item that I tried. I ordered the fish tacos and the shrimp tostada. First, the serving sizes are very impressive. But when I bit into my first fish taco after only 5 minutes in the take out box, it was so wet with sauce, that it made the entire taco soggy and a huge mess. Immediately the tortillas fell apart and instead of a nice crispy piece of fish, it was also a soggy mess. The shrimp tostada was also a disappointment that way, just drenched in a green avocado sauce. So much sauce that you could not taste anything else. There was a good size portion of shrimp but I couldn't even get to it because of all the sauce. I tasted hubby's calamari from his taco (he ordered the "mixed tacos", 3 tacos). It was still nice and crispy. He also had the octopus taco and a shrimp taco and he seemed to really like them. I am sorry I can't give you 5 stars Charro Negro and I hate to ruin your 5 star run, but someone needs to ease up on the sauce so that you can actually taste the good quality food that you are preparing.
