Bomb food for a solid price !! Got the Tacos Dorados, lengua taco, Mexidog, Steak/Shrimp Super Burrito. For meats I tried Shrimp over lengua over Al pastor over Carne asada Tacos Dorados had meat inside a fried tortilla. At first i got 1 of each taco but ordered an extra Shrimp dorados. The lengua taco was yummy, great flavor and texture on the meat. Not gamey Mexidog was bacon wrapped, jalapeños, onions & tomatoes on top. Great value would get again. Shrimp + Carne asada Super burrito was good, but I would probably get a different meat next time. The Carne Asada was good, but was lacking a little flavor compared to Al Pastor and shrimp. I'll try Al pastor and shrimp next time. This is their food truck location. There is a parking lot behind the food truck and there are outdoor tables in the front. A friend recommended this truck & had good things to say. Arriving to the location the parking lot was full & line was long. I knew then the food would be good. Despite a long line they took orders quickly & wait time wasn't long at all. I ordered the fajitas plate, chicken with no mushrooms & no avocado. It came with 5 mini tortillas & choice of sauces. It was delicious, chicken had lots of flavor, juicy & not dry! Would definitely order this again. For my drink I ordered a horchata with little ice. I always look forward trying horchata at Mexican restaurants. The horchata was watered down which was disappointing, I could taste the cinnamon but not much condensed milk. Didn't finish it. All together my order came out to a little over $19. Overall this is the taco truck to go to when you want good Mexican food in Santa Rosa. I'll be back to try more items. read more

When I know I want a tasty taco that always delivers, El Roy's is my go-to. Their chicken is sooooo good, I could eat it by itself. The carne asada is also good, but if you're coming to El Roy's, trust me on the chicken. Its incredibly juicy and flavorful. They also have a really good salsa that goes with everything and anything. If I have leftovers (cause I love the salsa and always ask for extra) I'll add it to my eggs the next morning. They are open pretty late, so a great option for late night eats. read more

So I was in the area for an event at another business,but I had been hearing about this place on social media for months. Some on social media even going as far as saying this taco truck having the best burrito in the entire Bay Area,rated higher than heavyweights like La Taqueria in the mission or La Piñata in Vallejo. That's a pretty bold statement-one I wanted to find out if it could possibly be true. Getting there was easy enough as it was on our way home from Windsor,with just a brief detour needed to get to this legendary spot. Funny thing,the street that this truck is located reminds me of driving down Northgate Blvd in Sacramento in that in order to get to the taco truck,I literally had to pass 10+ other trucks and taquerias-a true taco haven of a street. Got me thinking they must be pretty good if they standout with such stiff competition so nearby. They are located in a parking lot,so parking is plentiful-so no issue there. When I got there I ended up ordering a Super Burrito with Carne Asada($12.00) and a Taco Dorado with Carne Asada($4.00) They mostly spoke Spanish when taking my order but they did speak English to my friend who was with me at the taco truck. We got our food pretty fast and it came with some of their very special salsa that came with the order. Let's talk about that crunchy taco dorado first-This may be the best carne asada crunchy taco I've ever had-I wish I had caught that 1st bite on video as the crunch sound was everything one could ever hope to get from a dorado taco. The Super Burrito was truly everything they said it would be.The tortilla had the most perfect toasty taste that only comes from being toasted perfectly.The mixture of the ingredients was flawless,every bite gave you a full taste of every ingredient-this is an underrated thing when searching for the best burrito and the seasonings of the carne asada-yeah as good as it gets. These people should truly offer a masterclass in burrito making as a finer carne asada burrito I have yet to have. The 2 items I ordered from them on this visit were of the highest ratings I could give and I don't know if I will ever find another spot that could compete with El Roy's Express Mex. Now here is where it gets tricky-I've heard not all 5 locations of El Roy's are created equal-I was told to seek out this location as it was the best of the bunch,so since I haven't tried the other locations,I can only vouch for my food experience here. Idk if the lady that took the order was drunk or something but I asked for extra rice no sour cream on a super burrito and she charges me extra rice plus extra sour cream and when I looked at the screen and told her no sour cream she just looked at me and said no sour cream but still charged me for it and it was like $16.50 for a $12 burrito??? Navigated this street that had what seemed to be 1 or 2 Taco trucks every block to try what some consider to be the best of them, and wow. The truck is located in an easy to access lot, with parking a plenty, and 3 to 4 tables that seat 3-5 people. The Al Pastor taco was beyond fantastic, rich in flavor that was popping, plenty of meat , cilantro and onion. The Asada was just as flavorful, with a crispy shell and cheese. The salsa provided was very tasty with a little kick of heat. Next time I'm in the area I wanna come back hungeier and try the Burrito which I hear is superb. read more

I've stopped here many times on my way home from work. The food is fresh and flavorful. The service is quick. I usually don't have to wait long; this is a food truck so it is in a parking lot so ambiance is fine for a food truck. It's a good price and convenient right off of Santa Rosa Avenue. At least, that's where I seen them today on my way home from work. We all ordered some food from this food truck today. And takes 1-2 hours when there's 5-10 in front of you. Who has the time for mediocre food? It's not good Mexican food whatsoever, just convenient because they've popped up food trucks everywhere. I love el Roy's! Classic Mexican dishes that always leave me wanting more. My favorite item to get is the "el dorado tacos" these crunchy shell tacos are the freshest hard shell tacos Ive ever had. They are topped onions and cotija cheese. They come in a plate of 3 tacos for $15. They obviously have great burritos and soft tacos also. But I can't help but order the dorado tacos every time. They are a good truck, so the seating and ambiance could be better. I hope they branch out and get a Restraunt location someday. Highly recommend. read more

Elroy's has some great shrimp tacos! Three shrimps on each taco with a delightful, mild creamy sauce. It has very good flavor, and they have a hot sauce that goes on it as well, which is still kind of mild. If I have one criticism, it could have a little more kick to the dish but it has really good flavor as it is. Came back to Santa Rosa really wanted to find the truck that we found the last time. Unfortunately, we found a different location. As soon as my partner and I came up to the truck, we felt like they started judging us. We placed our order. The lady was super nice. We asked her what was in the torta. She told us what it was my partner ordered it, and the men just continue to look and stare. As you can see in the pictures, everything looks amazing unfortunately, the torta had no flavor to it whatsoever. I will definitely not go back to this location. I will try to locate the other location we went to which now we believe it's in the one Santa Rosa Ave. and not Sebastopol. Highly recommend these tacos dorados "golden tacos" on all days not just Tuesdays. My favorite tacos that I have them at least once a week. The shrimp is my favorite. Creamy refried beans in the hard crispy taco shell hits! I love the asada and carnitas ones too. Must eat right away! The shell gets soggy so it's not the same experience whatsoever. I love their chicken quesadilla too! It's so flavorful and yummy. The jamaica and horchata is a must with the tacos, especially if you're like me and douse your tacos with salsa. The horchata helps with that kick! Their sauce is the best thing ever! I buy an 8 oz so I can have more at home to put on my homemade tacos. I was advised to phone it in as the line and wait times can get long which i expected from 10 x city champs. They got good tacos, they really do. I have been back since and had the same thing, i am just straight addicted to Chorizo tacos right now. Anytime, anywhere, and they are just as good as the other top notch places I will be reviewing. Cant believe I didn't stop by sooner! There are many taco trucks around Sebastopol Rd. This is the 2nd one I've tried and didnt disappoint me. I got the 3 taco plate: chicken, fish and shrimp. They are small street tacos loaded with meat, tomatoes, onions, sauce, lime, raddish and a side of salsa. The most flavorful one was the shrimp tacos, a little spicy ting, fresh shrimp. The fish and chicken was a bit more bland than the shrimp but equally as good. If you're hungry I would get the burrito or quesadilla instead as I was still a little starving after the small 3 tacos. The wait for the food was about 10+ mins. The parking lot is small but we were able to get a small but tight spot. Recommended to try! read more

I wish I could give it six stars because this is my new location. It's like one stoplight and two blocks away from me. The Dorados is the best I've ever had. I got Al Pastor and the fajitas had steak and shrimp and mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and the sauce is pretty delicious. Can't wait for the grand opening I'll be there and probably at least 1-2x a week and that's not including weekends . What was a waiting for, why did I drive by too many times for so long, wondering, waining! I am so happy I finally stopped at the Sebastopol food truck express location with a friend and ordered the Tacos Dorados, a plate of 3 crispy and plumply filled tacos with the protein of your choice. I ordered 2 carnitas and one carne asada, mild verde sauce on the side. The texture of the puffy but crispy shells I would liken to an airy tostado shell, then the carnitas, perfectly seasoned, not salty and not fatty were delicious and memorable, CRAVABLE! The steak taco was good too, but the Carnitas! And they paired perfectly with the verde salsa, Perfect! Everything on my plate including the salad and radishes were fresh and enjoyable. Now the limited picnic table seating isn't optimal, so I would suggest to-go, but if you want to eat them fresh, you could cross the street over to the multiple food truck picnic court and enjoy your bounty there. My 3 taco trio was just over $11 and well well worth the cost, and I would challenge anyone to find a dish of this quality anywhere in the county for less. read more
