I had a craving for burrito and tacos so we're not give this place a try and so I did. Ricky's food truck is easy to find. It's just right off of State Street and just a short walk from the Yard, another popular food truck area. I ordered an Al pastor burrito and two tacos (asada and cabeza). All the food was super warm even after a short 15 minute drive back to my destination. The burrito had a subtle flavor, not salty and all ingredients including the rice and beans were of equal proportions. The meat although not salty was lacking that barbacoa flavor that usually accustomed to. The tortilla was not chewy and soft as I hope it would have been. It was hard and dried-out towards the bottom. I was hoping the last bits would redeem itself but sadly fell short. This one is a 7.5/10. As for the tacos, the asada had some flavor but the most flavorful had to be the cabeza. Both meats seasoned well and not too salty like the burrito. I opted to douse each offering with a small cup of green (tomatillo) sauce. I did have a pleasant chat with the owner whose food truck has been around for 25 years and Ricky was named after his son. Maybe it was an off day for Ricky's not sure. I'll give their other offerings another try whenever I'm around the area again.
