I called the office and they said we can't make an appointment because there is a balance. Fine I pay the balance and they obviously didn't listen to the parts about the child being in pain and booked him for a cleaning instead. When we arrived for our appointment they were surprised that he was in pain and "had no idea". Told us they'd be happy to X-ray the visible hole in the tooth but didn't have time to do anything to it being that it a holiday and they booked themselves full. Time to find a dentist with their priorities with the child in mind.

I am so impressed that the kids are seen at appointment time, in and out with a cleaning and the Dentist was present & on time. Not Dr. Kilgore..she checks EVERYTHING to make sure all is currently well with my children and also goes over preventative care that should be done. We saw her today and I've never been so pleased to see what an amazing job she does. She is someone who genuinely cares about her patients. I've never seen her without a smile on her face nor have I ever met a Dr that will take as much time needed to explain things to the children, as well as their parents. She remembers us every time we step foot into the office and makes us feel so comfortable. My son ADORES her. He loves seeing his favorite Dr, as he would say. She sits down, chats with him about school or what's new in his life. I couldn't be more grateful to have her as a dentist for my son. She always asks how I'm doing and always offers a helping hand. It means so much to myself and my son. There need to be more doctors and people like her in general. She is a genuine kind hearted person. Not to mention our hygienist is so sweet and is someone who is very experienced. We have her every time we are in and absolutely love her and what a wonderful job she's done. If you're thinking about taking your little ones to the dentist and you want your child to have a staff that is so kind and compassionate, then this is definitely the place to go. Again, coming to see Dr Kilgore was a major score for my family! Dr. Lynch listens to his patients and does not recommend unnecessary dental procedures that many other dental providers talk their patients into because the dental provider receives the profit. I have a great deal of respect for Dr. Lynch, Dr. Mader, and their staff. Dr. Lynch & Dr. Mader's dental office is also very beautiful and creates a relaxing ambience prior to any procedure being performed. I find this to be a must have for those who do not like going to the dentist!

And remember to regularly brush your teeth so there's no stank? I know I sure do.. but there are some dentists out there that are A OK in my book. This was my temporary dentist while I was in college! Her practice is located quietly not too far from Martin's on Portage. She was super nice and personable making you feel welcome and calming your nerves before such scary things such as a root canal. I had mine done here and her and her staff were great. The root canal was not that bad at all. People at work were scaring me with all these horror stories but in the end, I didn't even need to touch my pain meds. I just took a long ass nap to sleep off the medication during the procedure and I was fine. A good experience I say.
