I noticed that not all of the pottery had artist information available, so I asked the person working at the cash register. He immediately knew the artist after looking at the piece. The prices were really great too. Some people might find the pottery expensive, but the amount of work and dedication it takes to make these things is substantial. I also really love this place because they are connected to a pottery studio (Frederick Clay Studio) that offers classes and internships.

So off we went to the arts center (just 5 steps from the garage). Did we ever make it to our original destination, no, but we certainly had a fun time exploring the arts center and would definitely go back again. There is so much to do and see - all 3 levels (I excluded the basement as we never made it down there (pressed for time). When in the area, please make it a point to visit this spot. You will not be disappointed.
