I'm so confused about negative feedback. Dr Shareef is one in a million. She is nurturing. She always listens and takes her time to hear you out and give feedback on results. People who complain she's on her phone while she is with you, that's her tool. She is tracking your info, while listening to you, and writes it down as she is looking up your stats. All on her phone. Dr Shareef is one of the worst doctors ever. I was having super super high blood pressure and I was at the urgent care 3 times. I tired to a follow up appointment with this stupid lady and her stupid staff gave me a appointment like 3 weeks after even though I was suffering and them when i did use her instead of modifying my medications and giving me proper guidance she let me go. Horrible experience! This doctor is a narcissist. Wouldn't recommend her to anyone. This doctor is full of herself. The staff is rude and the doctor is ruder. She is incompetent and doesn't know how to interpret a simple Lyme disease test result. She is out there for the money and not the patient. She'll ask her staff to schedule an appointment for a simple refill so she can collect a copay. Unscrupulous and uncaring doctor! Never on time and has no consideration for the patient. I submitted a simple IHSS form for her to fill for my parents and followed up with her multiple times reminding her of the deadline. Dr. Shareef is professional, kind, and a fantastic doctor! I see her in her Lake Arrowhead office. She always listens to my concerns, we discuss how to address my health issues, and she provides a plan for my care. I feel grateful to have such a wonderful doctor for my healthcare. Dr. Shareef is kind and caring. She always listens to what I need done and gets it done. If not, she makes the recommendation to the people that will. Her front office staff have been organized with scheduling appointments and calling for appointment reminders the day before. I think it is really convenient that you can text the office to schedule appointments if you cannot call. It is also nice that Dr. Shareef is available for Saturday appointments for when you can't take off of work for the Dr. Insurance I was seeing Dr. Shareef when I had Medi Cal and then when I got my first job post grad with BCBS insurance benefits. Wait time varies. It seems like Saturdays are becoming more booked so I think I waited like 10-15 min in the past and this time 30-45 min? but it didn't bother me. I was late about 10 minutes so that's on me. The office is very clean. It was remodeled before the office move from the last location. The waiting area is pretty open and not crammed like other offices I've been to. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Shareef. read more

This last visit I had with Dr. Shareef was an aggravating experience. I had an appointment set at 11:30 and I checked in at 11:10. I then waited for 2.5 hours (along with others in the waiting room) to see Dr. Shareef. This is the worst doctor visit I have ever had. Then when she did come into the room, she asked a series of questions from her phone. I did tell her that I was annoyed for waiting the 2 hours and her response to me was that some patients take longer than others. Really not acceptable nor professional at all. The absence of time management from the schedulers is appalling as well. Not too thrilled with how this experience was. Also after reading past reviews, this isn't this first or only time she has had people waiting for more than an hour. To end this, regardless of the fact that some patients take longer than others​, have the consideration of letting a lobby of people know that you're running behind . read more

Not impressed. Tired of talking/texting with the office help, who rarely call me back when they say they will, and talking with them about my health information instead of the doctor. Today the doctor was 45 minutes late seeing me and then i was told i had to wear a mask to enter the office "to protect the health of the patients and staff". Let the people who feel they need to wear a mask, wear one, leave the rest of us alone. Needless to say i am done with this place. read more

I would NOT recommend Dr.Shareef office! Every-time Im sick and try to make an appointment they always say you need to go to urgent care or ER. Honestly this has happened the last 3x I tried to make an appointment. Why would I want to wait in ER for hours and pay $100 copay when I should be able to see my doctor and pay a $10 copay! She is always booking 3 months out, double books patients. Ridiculous I tell you. Before I chose this office I even asked if it was easy to get in if needed and they lied said "of course" maybe 1-3 days. Don't get me started on always having to wait longer then an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Last but no least they'll never call you with your labs, mammo etc results. It takes about 2 weeks if that. Considering we were in ER and labs were dangerously low and Dr Shareef wanted to check again we stressfully waited to see if they came back but ill never know cause she wont call you back . I had my first appt yesterday with Dr. Shareef's office in Lake Arrowhead. The entire office staff is very nice. Sarah, at the front desk, is very sweet, efficient & helpful. Nurse practitioner, Jasdeep, did my pap. She was very professional & kind. I didn't get to meet Dr. Shareef but I look forward to it in the future. There are several award plaques on the waiting room wall for "Most Compassionate Doctor Of The Year." Impressive!! I saw a YouTube interview with her in which she was very knowledgeable and thorough in answering questions about Covid-19. I had to wait over an hour to be seen, but probably 15 minutes of that was due to it being my first time so they were processing my signed documents into their computer system. The patient room is set up very poorly for a pap. There's no privacy if you're sitting or laying on the table. When the door opens, anyone in the office outside the room can see you in all your exposed glory. Nevertheless, I'll be back. I'm so excited to find a female doctor (& nurse practitioner) on the mountain!! And I'm confident that they'll take good care of me. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have had with a doctor. Dr. Shareef is a Narcissist! I've never met someone more unprofessional and full of themselves! First, they don't answer the phone. The only way to get a hold of any one in the office is via text. I had to text a front desk staff member personal information which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Nothing is done electronically. I had to drive to the EDD office, pick up disability forms, return them to the office, pay for the doctor to fill out her portion, I had to wait 2 weeks for them to be filled out, and then I had to pick them up and turn them to EDD myself. In addition to the lack of technology, Dr. Shareef is extremely unprofessional. She read private lab results to me at the front desk in front of 2 staff members and patients! I felt humiliated and mortified. When I brought this to her attention privately, she wouldn't let me speak! She interrupted me and belittled me. I left that office in tears. I hope that this review will spare any other people that might be looking for a compassionate, competent, and responsible doctor. Dr. Shareef is the absolute worst and in my opinion has no business having the esteemed title of Doctor! read more

Made appointments for my husband and I specifically to see Dr. Shareef and were given the nurse practitioner instead. That felt pretty underhanded. However, I only needed an emergency prescription for diabetic test strips. Paid for appointment and they never sent the scrips. Tried for five days to get response. I was unable to check my sugars for five days. Ridiculous to forget to send them. They phoned twice but when I answered the line was dead. Finally reached them and they said I swore and hung up on them. Yeah I hung up when I couldn't hear anything on the line. Their behavior was outrageous and beyond rude. Dr. Shareef is great, but there is some serious incompetence going on in that office. I have sent all my family and friends to see her. I dearly regret that recommendation. I cannot recommend this doctor because I shouldn't have to go without care because they forgot about me. As I was leaving I asked them if they sent the scrips and they said the doctor will do it soon. But she never did. The staff's behavior was just so unfair, and to be honest, personally hurtful. I'm supremely disappointed in this outcome, it didn't have to be. read more
