At this point I think I can honestly say (having come here 4 times now) that this is the best massage I've ever received - ever. Sylar works very hard on my knots and tight muscles to the point where I sometimes wonder how he can maintain that kind of hand-arm strength for 60 mins. (frankly, I'd be exhausted). Also, Sylar sometimes will use different tools of his trade like hot stones or "cupping" devices if he thinks it will enhance my results. I will say that you should be very clear in your communication with Sylar about what you want worked on, how much pressure, if something hurts. He's never offended or gives any attitude from feedback - he just adjusts accordingly. I used to just wince in pain and keep quiet when other massage places would go too hard (painful!) but I know now that most massage therapists (Inc. Sylar) WANT you to tell them: "little less/little more pressure please" and I say this throughout the massage (I'm no longer concerned about offending a therapist). Try this place. It's a beautiful massage studio owned by a very kind & hard-working husband/wife team.

She is amazing at assessing your current pain and body posture, knowing exactly how and where to work on specific areas. She is the best and most trained clinical massage person I have ever experienced. Every time I go, she gives me tips, such as how to stretch out certain painful areas as well as how i can bring more pleasure into my life. She has so much knowledge to offer and is so easy to talk to!! I feel blessed that I found her as she has given me so much relief to my chronic pain, i see her regularly, pretty much every 2-3 weeks. I opted for the salt room which was a cool experience. The lounge is nice as well, music is very peaceful and thoughtful to put out tea and water. The hot tub outside looked well maintained. Locker rooms were such a nice touch. It's clear a lot of thought went into designing a full wellness facility. I would rate my prenatal massage very differently. More like a 3/5 which was surprising to me as I've had 10 prenatal massages total and for $160/60min, that's by far the steepest I've ever paid and walked away with a few new pains in my shoulders and back :( I'm sad about that but again, facility is great.
