Let's face it, it's a weird thing to meet someone for 2 minutes, then enter a room, strip down, and lay on a table. Well, at least it is for me (to each his or her own). But, Heather made the experience super comfortable. She has a nice energy and I felt at ease. That's all well and good, but her hands, though? Her hands are...magic. She asked for my pressure preference, checked on my comfort, and had at it with my knots. I was locked up pretty good in my shoulders and hamstrings thanks to a new workout routine. When I left, my muscles were loose and my tension was gone. The outside looks like what it is - an old brick professional building. I thought it was pretty cool, actually. Then, I was impressed with how inside the spa was decorated. It was gorgeous! I loved the colors and details in the massage room. I completely forgot I was essentially in a small office building. I asked how much a 2-hour massage would cost, and she told me $120. She was very friendly and accommodating with the time slot I requested. On the day of the appointment, her sister Lisa was assigned to do the massage. Lisa did an excellent job--the massage itself was relaxing and professional. However, when it came time to pay, I was told the cost was $160, not the $120 I had been quoted. I explained that I had spoken with the owner, but Lisa said, "Oh no, you had a 2-hour deep tissue massage--that's $160." I was surprised by the $40 difference, especially since I had only brought $190 with me. I ended up giving a $30 tip and left, but I felt misled. I even took a photo of their posted prices: 30 min - $50 60 min - $80 90 min - $110 Based on that pricing structure, a 120-minute massage should logically be around $140, not $160. This inconsistency is the reason I'm writing this review. I've referred this place to many people because of the quality of the massages, but this experience has made me lose trust. I will never go back! I hope they clarify their pricing and ensure better communication moving forward.
