I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment and was asked to wait 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes another customer came in and was taken right away. I went to figure out what happened and was told that person had an appointment. So did I. I left. I just felt like they took a walk in and pushed my appointment without asking me. Today I had the worst massage I ever had here. They're usually pretty good. Claire wast the worst. She was sick with no mask. She procrastinated the whole time, 10 minutes sitting in my back doing nothin, took 10 minutes to go get towels and omitted the stones today. I chose hot stone and added another 30 min $30 acupressure to focus on my lower back. Coco was my therapist and she was amazing. I will for sure go back. If I could give 0 stars I would. The only positive was the scheduling. It was easy. I needed accommodations. They told me multiple times they would accommodate. When I got there, there were no accommodations and the masseuse seemed as if she didn't know what to do. Someone came in a talked to her in her native language and then she set up my accommodations. When I tell you it was the worse massage I've ever had... I mean it! I felt worse than when I came in. I was also sore and bruised (I don't bruise easily) for a week! Then when I went to pay, I was that they don't take insurance for massages! I called and confirmed with them that they did take my insurance and they are listed on my insurance website for the services! So I had to pay out of pocket for a terrible job! In my opinion, I have received some of the best massages from the Taiji MTs. I have been to all of the locations and I prefer Drexel Hill. I like a deep tissue massage and they have been consistent with the quality service. Everyone is always very pleasant and very accommodating. I don't live in that immediate area and have to travel about 25-30 minutes to get there, but it's worth every bit of it. read more

I usually base my choice to try a new business on Yelp reviews. In this case, I'm glad I didn't. . I was looking for a masseuse who used acupressure in my area. I checked Yelp as I normally do, and waa very excited to find one close by. But the reviews weren't good. Since I was familiar with other businesses in the same area that were decent, I decided to give it a try anyway. I'm so glad I did. I made an 11 am appointment on their site and rcvd an immediate response which impressed me. The next day, I entered a clean facility with good parking. I was greeted right away and led to a room with a prepared massage table. Right away I noticed the sheet that other reviewers had complained was scratchy. I decided just to go with the flow and see what my masseuse, Li, had to offer. Li was soft spoken and sweet. She gave clear instructions and checked in with me throughout the next 60 minutes of one of the most wonderful massages I've ever had. (I've been to Toppers, Massage Envy, Carnival Cruises Oasis massage, among others. I consider myself pretty savvy as far as what I liked. And I really LIKE Taiji AcuCare! I even added an extra 30 min reflexology session to my 60 min massage that included acupressure, deep tissue work, Swedish technique and hot stones! Although the massage started over the sheet, it didn't bother me as it did previous reviewers. Most of the work was done with lotion directly on my skin and afterward I felt amazing! When I found out about the new store in Drexel Hill I was very excited to have another convenient location when I'm in both areas. Let me get one thing clear, this is not your typical overpriced hotel spa type of massage. I work 70+ hours a week and what I need is someone who can get all of my aches and tension from the deep tissue massages. They get to the point! After trying their sister site, I was willing to give this location a try. First time ever that I couldn't wait for the massage to be over. The person giving the massage seemed inexperienced to say the least. For a full body massage she kept focusing on a single area repeatedly until finally I had to direct her attention elsewhere. Also, they start their massage by doing deep tissue technique on terry cloth draped dry skin. It had all the therapeutic benefit of having your skin sandpapered. Afterwards I wondered if the person who did my massage had any training. Can only presume they were licensed. read more

*Per my google review* Only place I will go for reflexology as long as I live close by!! EXCELLENT customer service, go above and beyond for clients. Witnessed a woman didn't schedule correctly so didn't have an appointment at when she came. They were booked at the time but the owner called her personally (owner wasn't ever there, they reached out to her for assistance in this scenario). They ended up getting the woman in for a 30 min massage (her husband was properly scheduled for his appointment so had already had about 30 mins of the massage so her 30 minutes would coincide). They also take MULTIPLE insurances, I had four reflexology appointments in one month, each one was excellent. I had been recommended by a reflexologist at another practice to do reflexology for a month and my stress levels would go down. (I suffer from chronic stress). I unfortunately couldn't afford that practice due to my low income but can say confidently that Taiji AcuCare helped so it was all for the best! My stress reduced significantly!!! The woman who did my last appointment (wish I got her name) even grabbed me water during my appointment after I started coughing excessively do to an itch in my throat. They also require to wear a mask and sanitize your hands right as you enter which I thought was cool. Only concern would be someone taking my prime 1 o clock spot on Sundays!! Lol. Would recommend to anyone looking for help on their wellness journey! First time clients get $10 off! I had not know this for my first appointment and my second appointment they allow me to use the $10 off anyway!!! I will also get $10 off for writing a review!
