Warm, comfortable, meticulously clean facility with polite, professional, talented staff. So far I've had a foot massage, a scalp treatment, & a full body massage, and each one was wonderful. My most recent massage had me drooling and so relaxed that I was nearly tempted to pay for another hour just so I could immediately take a nap right there on the table! If you find yourself with a free half hour, pop in for a foot massage - they'll seat you on a giant warm fuzzy chair with a comfy blanket and then go to town on your tootsies with the perfect pressure and smell-good oils. And then I started hearing buzz at the lifetime gym in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, everyone is saying you have to try Yo Yo, go to Yo Yo. I am so happy that I did ! It is the most amazing massage that I've ever had in my entire life , especially if if you'd like a deep tissue massage from your neck to your toes, this is definitely the place for you. Very disappointing experience. Boring massage. My masseuse was also taking phone calls for appointments while massaging me - so unprofessional. I actually thought she was speaking to me ... but she was on a few phone calls! The place is very clean, but lots of noise from construction and other workers in the salon. This was my first visit to YoYo Healing Touch. After reading the positive Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. I have had many massages over the years at various different locations. Making the appointment over the phone was challenging. The staff member had a very heavy accent and it was difficult communicating with her. When I entered the facility, I immediately had second thoughts. The waiting area looked tired, needed a good coat of paint and had a musty scent. I was introduced to my male massage therapist who spoke little English. I regretted not asking for a female masseuse on the phone or being informed that only a man was available. I was lead directly to the room for my massage. No forms were presented to me regarding personal information, physical conditions, or injury. The area in which I received the massage had VERY LITTLE PRIVACY. It was a curtained area off the main hallway with no ceiling. During my message I could hear all the noises and conversations coming from the "other rooms" and in the reception area. I weighed whether I actually should turn around to leave. The massage itself was fairly good. However, I was not able to communicate with my masseuse concerning pressure. When I asked for more pressure, a female employee overheard from nearby and translated my request. At one point, it was extremely awkward. While I was laying face down on the massage table, the masseuse climbed onto the table and straddled my legs to massage my back. At this point I was glad the room had no ceiling. Again, I hesitated whether to leave. Frankly, I was very relieved when my my hour was up and I could leave the facility. The masseuse did nothing overtly inappropriate but overall I was really creeped out. I've had other male masseuse and never felt that way before. If you are looking for a relaxing spa experience this is not the place for you especially if you are a woman. I will not be returning. read more

Discovered this barebones message place that offered a 30% off promotion of 60 min deep tissue/acupressure messages for $48. For $76, you get 90 minutes. You're put in a medium sized walled cubicle. You undress, put the towel provided on the massage table and the Chinese lady will give you this outrageously good massage by going really deep in your muscles, step on your back, and stretch every part of your body. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't expect this to be spa like at all. You can hear other people talking in the other cubicles even if there's semi relaxing music playing. There's no aromatherapy fluff, just no nonsense deep tissue massage. Definitely worth every penny. My husband has already gone back there twice and I also plan to make this a habit. I started going to YoYo Healing Touch in the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic. My orthopedic and chiropractic doctors had closed there doors. My shoulder pain was EXTREME and no help was to be found until I went to YoYo. It took a few months but 90% of may pai. Is gone. The YoYo team truly has the healing touch. I should mention that my condition was extreme and that it was a no-pain, no-gain situation for me. The team was caring and consistently checked my ability to take the treatment. My orthopedist was amazed by my dramatic increase in shoulder mobility and decrease in pain. Lindsey, the boss, is the best and she makes sure her team is trained to meet her high standards. I came here because of the high reviews but am super disappointed. I got a two hour body massage and half way through she told me she wanted to go out to get water which was about 8 minutes off and kept complaining about how hungry she was the whole time so when she came back from getting water she was talking to me with her mouth full, she cut 5 minutes off my time at the end as well which made it about 13 mins off my massage, the entire time she kept looking at her phone and the light was so bright, she even voiced someone from her phone in the middle of a massage, on top of that her and her co workers kept talking to each other from each others open curtains because they didn't have any real rooms. The place isn't that clean and the employees are nice but very unprofessional while working on customers. I tipped her $30 for two hours when I usually tip $50 for cutting me for my time I didn't even want to tip to be honest. I will never come back here. read more

I made an appointment to get a 90 minute massage for my birthday today and added hot stones. I really just wanted to pamper myself and relax. Basically, it was really awesome. The massage therapist really worked out my tense upper body and calves plus did a great facial massage and I just felt so balanced after she was done. My advice: definitely get the 90 mins. 60 minutes is like a cake with no icing- still great but just not as wonderful as a cake with icing. Unless of course you don't like icing or cake in which case... imagine something else wonderful that would make your day nice and peaceful. read more

My husband got me a massage gift certificate last year for my birthday. I tried to use it today. The business would Not honor it. First the desk person said it expired. I said nope, no expiration date listed. Then he said well, there's a new boss so I can't use the ones from the old boss. Then he called his boss. She wanted to talk to me. She offered me a half price massage at $38. I said no, my husband already paid full price for a one hour. She said it's a new business. I confirmed that, considering the name was the same. She said no, the name isn't the same. It was YoYo healing touch, now it's YoYo healing spa. I said ma'am, I am looking at your sign, your business cards, your current gift certificate packet, they all say Healing Touch. They still said they would not honor it. I told them that was foolish. Their shop was empty. It would have been at least a tip for heir employee and the potential for a satisfied repeat customer. She refused again, so I left. I think if I were a business owner and kept the name of a previous owner (which I cannot confirm it's a new owner or not) I would honor certificates from previous owner as they phased out. read more

The reason why I'm giving it 3 stars is because of the following: My boyfriend and I love to get massages so we decided to check this place out. This is definitely something out of the normal spas. Each room is separated by thin walls and there aren't any doors, instead curtains are being used so you hear everything. The staff is really nice and polite though. What caught our eyes immediately was the 30% off on 1hr massages from 10am-2pm. - the first time I went there was amazing. I got a 30 min massage and it felt great! My masseuse was very good and even did great massaging techniques that really helped my body. So I purchased a gift card for 1 hr massage for $68. (Sounds like a good deal) - It has been a month since I first went there and suddenly the prices have changed. On top of that, they eliminated their 30% off for early birds. Not only that, they didn't even tell us about it and the gift card that I bought a month ago wasn't even credited for. You would've thought that they would take that, especially knowing that it was bought before they changed their prices. I looked at their website again and it still says $68/hr. I feel that they should change that asap so other people won't be surprised when they get there expecting something else. Also, their brochure still says $68 too. My boyfriend and I didn't really want to argue, especially in the morning so we just let it go. But I thought for future reference, here is something everyone can read. read more

I am updating my review since the business was sold to new owners. I waited awhile to make sure I had enough experience with the new team. Lindsey and her group have updated the place, added services more like a spa ( hot stones, varied massages) while not losing the reason that YoYo is so good: Chinese Massage. If you have not tried it, start by asking for low pressure vs. deep tissue or walking in your back. Usually your therapist will tell you what they think your muscles need. I send my 20 year old kids to Hand & Stone but I come here for serious massage weekly. The different therapists use stone, back walking or other therapy to loosen my neck, back and it is remarkable. It can feel less than relaxing during the massage, but when you leave you will fill amazing and the feeling lasts until you return. Try it. I've been to many foot reflexology places and this is the only establishment that literally only does your feet when you ask for a foot reflexology massage, so be aware of that.
