I came out to Tailgate Beach Club for the Waka Flocka pool party and had a good time overall. The venue was clean and looked updated, and the free parking outside was definitely a plus. The staff was friendly and I didn't have any issues during my visit. My biggest complaint was the drink prices. A $15 Red Bull was a bit much but didn't take away from the experience. Overall, I enjoyed myself, but there are better pool party venues along the Strip. I'd probably check out some other spots before coming back. read more

We've been coming to Daylight Beach Club every year and have always had a great experience, so we decided to try Tailgate this year. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst Vegas pool experiences we've ever had. What's even more frustrating is that even the managers and employees told us they constantly hear complaints about the music and the overall experience. People come to Vegas to PARTY, and the music here was easily some of the lamest and most boring music I've ever heard at a Vegas pool club. It was like that the entire time. I was in Vegas and I decided I want to do a day swim. I stayed at Mandalay Bay and found this place. A little walk from the entrance. But once you get up the stairs, you agreed it promptly by security. Make sure you have your ID. Once I was in the place, looked amazing. They have a huge pool in the middle. And a private separate pool you can rent. They also have food. It is pretty good and reasonably priced. I will definitely be making another trip here. read more

You will be ignored for men. A younger crowd, lots of people watching, Not a beautiful atmosphere in terms of decor, or setup, Dull looking. One large pool in the center. Was in town on a getaway with the fellas and we hit the Tailgate Beach Club to hang out for the afternoon. It did not start off that great. We had a cabana reservation but when we arrived they said that they could not find it. While they were looking for it they let in a load of folks that had no reservations. They eventually "found it" and let us in with no explanation or apology for the long wait. The security guys were overly serious but the staff that took care of us in our cabana were friendly and chill. This was during the World Cup and they had the games on the big screens and we could watch on the TV in the cabana. The cabana had a couch, table, ceiling fan & mister, hotel style personal safe, storage cabinets, towels and 2 lounge chairs. It also had a mini-pool dedicated to the 4 cabanas in our section. The cabana provided protection from the heat and you did not have to deal with the crowd at the bar or the main pool. The couches, cabanas, and bungalows have an associated minimum spend (so be aware of that). The food and drinks were good. Between the 5 of us we tried the burgers, nachos, fruit plate, caesar salad, chicken wings all of which were good. The general admission ticket does include all you can drink (note that the price for guys is higher than the price for ladies). Overall it was pricey but we had a good time. read more

Staying at the hotel and got added to the list from someone promoting there. Also got a free drink ticket. A little walk from Mandalay past the main pool. They make you toss out all food and drink before entering. We got inside and it was big and open. Tons of beach loungers available but they all had reserved signs. Basically they nickel and dime everything. It was $50 to rent a single chair or $500 for a couch setting. Got drinks from the bar; we used the free drink coupon for well tequila and they were strong. Found a spot in the pool next to a couch which had a tiny bit of shade from an umbrella. The party there left and staff closed the shade immediately. We asked for it to stay open, but they said it was only an option if we paid for the seating. It cost them nothing to provide shade. This left an incredibly sour taste in our mouth and we promptly left. We would've stayed if there was shade but we weren't about to pay $500 to get it. Considering how empty it was, that was such a disappointing experience. Guess that's Vegas for you. read more

We had a great time at tailgate for week 1 of NFL! We visited from out of town and wanted somewhere to watch the games without the craziness of a typical day club in Vegas (we're huge football fans) and tailgate was perfect for us!! The minimum spend was very doable for our group size and there were plenty of TVs to see all the games. We got a few things to eat, and everything was good (especially the wings). The only downside for us was the lack of shade, but it was tolerable! The best part of our experience was our server, Jade. She is so kind, attentive, and fun! Had a great time at Tailgate Beach Club! Me and the boys rented a cabana to watch UFC 329, and it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was great, the cabana was comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The staff stayed on top of everything and made sure we had what we needed without us having to hunt anyone down. The food was good too, I just had the chips & salsa. It hit the spot while we were watching the fights. Checkin was around 4:45, they have lockers if you want to show up early, stash your stuff and pregame. If you're looking for a fun place to catch a UFC event, a big game, or just hang out with friends, I'd definitely recommend Tailgate Beach Club. We went for the World Cup games one day and paid for a couch (the money has to be spent on drinks and food.) $90 for a pitcher of sub par cocktails. The wings and fries were good. Very sweet waitress. But once Mexico won, we expected to enjoy the rest of our food and our new bucket of drinks but instead, your waitress is gone, the music is silent and you have to get out now. I had to go to the bar to ask for a to-go box for the rest of our food. Don't expect to be allowed to celebrate or enjoy yourself once that last game is over. Time to get out! Would never go back. We had a reservation for a cabana during the USA game at the World Cup, and it took 20+ minutes to get through security while they let others who did not have a reservation or had not paid ahead of time in with no problems. The security and check in process seemed disorganized and like they were not prepared for such a busy event. Once we got in the TVs in the cabanas did not work for over 20 minutes, we were given no information on what was available and what wasn't available to us. Drinks and food were slow to come out (and extremely overpriced) and it seemed like this place was extremely short staffed, which seemed odd given that it was one of the bigger sporting events of the summer taking place. We were also told cabana guests could only order pitchers of cocktails or buckets of beer instead of individual servings because the bar was so backed up. The overall environment and TVs are great but I definitely won't be returning here for major sporting events after seeing how slow the service is. Also, be careful, you'll be charged automatic gratuity on reservations and then the server will bring you another check and ask for another tip. read more

Had to come check it out from its rebrand from daylight. The remodel is amazing, feels like day and night from what it used to be. Love the huge screens and the food always hits. Our server Keyana is a sweetheart, she was so bubbly and very attentive. We lounged on daybeds and dipped our feet to cool off. It really was mainly the heat that made me not want to stick around.
