House marg

I loved Lucky Day! I came here for my cousins' 21st birthdays (twins) in an attempt to turn them into tequila-lovers. While that didn't work, they tried other drinks they liked, and I loved my marg. Service was quick and kind. The place itself is so cute, decor and all, and I liked the style of booths they had. My shrimp tacos were incred, and everyone else had great things to say about their food too. It wasn't cheap per-say, but it was better than expected for a place on Fremont St near the hustle and bustle.

Came across this bar randomly but what a find! Entered it midday where a security guard was already posted, but the bartender was chill, friendly and made some great recommendations. Had bar stool seating, but also open flooring at the end which i assume would be where everyone would dance later that evening. I appreciated all the decor inside and there were fairy lights strewned around the ceiling which gives the place a great vibe. The music was a bit high but since it wasn't crowded, pretty easy to repeat order for drinks. I got to enjoy the spicy pepiño and a candy shot. Bartender even made a personalized drink based on how I shared my preference for mezcal. Next time I come through, I aim to try one of the flights. I thought the prices were reasonable, especially since the drinks were tasty.

The quality of the drinks was absolutely exceptional, perfectly crafted and thoroughly enjoyable. Additionally, Devon provided service that went above and beyond my expectations. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly enhanced my visit.

I fuck with it. I don't know the bartender's name, but he is official tissue. We talked about tequila lightly but I can tell he's serious about the subject. Excellent service from him and the team, the DJ was rocking on a Sunday, and my wife enjoyed her strawberry infused drink. I had a Blanco flight then started slamming shots. LIt on Fremont.

Finally got to experience Lucky Day! I've had this place bookmarked for a longggg time now so I'm so glad I finally got the opportunity to experience it! We came in after attending a food and wine festival downtown and just wanted to escape the heat a get a good cocktail! The ambiance of this place is incredible. There are lights all over the ceiling and the decor is fantastic. Such a cool vibe in here even on a weekend during the day, so I can't even imagine what its like on the weekend at night. I ordered one of the mezcal signature cocktails and my husband ordered an old fashioned that was smoked with tequila. We both absolutely loved our drinks and we got to sit at the bar and shoot the ya know what with the bartender, which I always love to do. This place truly is what a craft cocktail is all about and one of the reasons why I LOVE DTLV so much! Definitely won't be my last time here.

My wife and I hit up Lucky Day on Fremont Street and it was awesome! We loved the drinks and the vibe -- the lights, artwork, and overall aesthetic were all super cool. The staff was awesome too -- super friendly, attentive, and really added to the experience. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys good tequila or mezcal. I went for the spicy margarita (10/10), and my wife had the horchata-colada, which was incredible. Everything slapped, and the DJ kept the energy perfect all night. We'll absolutely be stopping by anytime we're on Fremont!

Was visiting Vegas for my birthday and popped in here as we were walking around Fremont street. I was recommended to get the fertility dance drink which was very good coming from someone that doesn't drink tequila often. They came in fun ceramic cups as well! I was super impressed by the ambiance, the lights on the ceiling were so pretty!! The music was also good and overall the place had good vibes and people dancing.

Fun bar, but disgusting drinks. Came here on st Patrick's day and three drinks cost $75? That's insane and also the drinks were made with cheap sweet and sour mix. My margarita tasted like just pure sour mix. I could barely finish the drink but I wasn't going to waste $25

I visited Fremont street for the first time & walked beyond the light show into a really charming part of town. Coaxed my friend to check out Lucky You. He is a tequila connoisseur, I am not. By the end of our visit, I was. This isn't the ick tequila I tried in college! Our bartender (darn, either Darren or Derrick) was AMAZING! He is a wealth of knowledge & made me a special bespoke cocktail. Perfection.

We had our private event at Lucky Day and I couldn't have asked or more. Rhonda took are of every detail. The staff was great and so accommodating. The food was fabulous, we chose the taco bar. The ambiance was amazing and the drinks well put together. Defenitly going back.

Nice cozy tucked away right on Fremont Street. Knowledgeable staff and quality service. Been there during the day and night and had a great time both times, a good place to check when you visit Sin City.

Ask the Community - Lucky Day

Is there parking?

Parking is available on the street to some extent but I HIGHLY recommend Uber/Lyft because the area isn't the most safe at night. Since it's Fremont.

Any cover charge for locals?

No cover for anyone that I saw

Anything for new year's eve?

We are announcing our NYE event this week! Check our instagram or website for details.

Are guac/salsa/chips the only food item available? Can you walk-in on a Sunday late night?

What is their dress code?

I don't think they have any. I went there in shorts and a t-shirt.

Latin night on Wednesdays (tonight)?

Is there a dress code?

Yes and they are very strict on it even during weekdays

Do you have to be 21 to enter?

Yes

Walked in at around 8:30/9pm and it was pretty dead. My friend and I were able to secure a booth, which felt intimate. It was ample space for 2 people but I can imagine if you had 4 people you'd feel squished. My friend ordered the Naked & Afraid and I ordered the Tropical Howler with vodka. Both of our cocktails were amazing and we'd order them again. If you like sweet cocktails, Tropical Howler is definitely for you. We both ordered a shot of the Mind Eraser, which had coffee liqueur I believe, I am not sure but you could taste the coffee and it was pretty good. Our bartender gave it to us with straws so you could probably sip it like a cocktail or take it like a shot. We liked the vibes in here due to its dark and intimate feel. We probably would have gotten a different vibe if we didn't have our own booth. I would come here again!

I went with the For a Good Time, Call 1-888-87-PROWL. The phone number is a legit call line and they encourage calling it, so that's just what I did. The drink itself was good, but a little sweet for my liking. 4/5 Service The bar was pretty empty when we arrived, but did fill up. Service was good throughout and everyone was kind. 5/5 Ambiance Prowl fully embraces the jungle vibe. The decor and drinks all tie into it and it works well. 5/5 Prowl is a fun bar in the area. The prices are reasonable and the vibes fun. Check it out.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
