If you have children (especially in strollers), are in a wheelchair or have anything larger than a small handbag on your person, you'll find that navigating this shop is difficult. The aisles are incredibly narrow; inventory fills every available nook and cranny from floor to ceiling. There are trinkets and knick-knacks all around-some look to be collectables. I'd imagine that some people get great joy out of hunting for treasures here-after all, there are plenty.

I am new to the area and went in looking up upgrade my Vicking. I had my two sons with me and I as…read moretreated horribly. My sons have been going to fabric stores since before they could walk. They stood next to me the whole time. I asked one woman if they carried a certain foot, she went off " looking for more information". After 15 minutes she came back to the counter and started folding fabric again. She was the only worker that would speak to me. I had money to spend but I guess having children with you means 'do not help'. At that point I left. Walking out my 5 year old asked, ' we aren't buying anything?' I said 'not now', loud enough for the two ladies behind the desk to hear me. I didn't want to drive to Las Vegas but it is looking like that will be the plan. Wanted to have a local shop where I could upgrade my machine and get accessories. Not the case here.
