I tried this place twice. First time I had a formal dress hemmed. The material was thin, nothing crazy. Just a hem. I was charged over $80. Today I came to get pants hemmed and the guys is just rude, wouldn't give me a straight answer on price and because they're taking a few days off it would take over 2 weeks to get it done. It was good until it WASN'T GOOD. Just lost a long time customer. I took a brand new pair of jeans(never worn) in for alteration. The alteration was horribly done and the jeans did not fit properly. The guy said he would fix them ....today I went to pick up the jeans and they are worse fitting than before and horribly tailored to the point I had to trash them. The guy will not take ownership of his horrible alteration. Lady at the front is rude and lack professional customer service. I was refunded the cost of the horrible alteration however doesn't equal the amount of money I lost for a brand new pair of jeans. read more

My husband and I have used this tailor for multiple alterations and they always deliver excellent work. This week I found myself in a real bind and needed a quick turn (one week) tailoring on a dress and despite an incredibly packed schedule they're going to make it work. Now don't get me wrong, I'll do everything I can to get things to them with ample time in the future, but to know businesses that will go out of their way to help customers in tough situations are one in a million and I cannot thank them enough. I would not recommend this place. Customer service was sub par and it's very overpriced. I had 4 pairs of jeans hemmed and it cost me $210.

Great tailor! Not only are they affordable, they are wonderful at what they do. Being 4'11 while living in Frisco just got 100% easier. I've always had to have a trusted tailor in my back pocket (see what I did there? ) and I am glad I found Tailor of Texas. read more

Used this company a few times but this is the last. They do a decent job and on the high side for service. I paid a rush fee for same day service. The clirges were not ready. I picked up a week later after returning from a business trip and they still wanted me to pay the rush fee. I and perhaps you, just don't like businesses who try to nickel and dime their customers at every turn. It's dishonorable and ultimately bad for business. Didn't mind paying extra for a service but if you didn't provide service, should be a default to regular price. BTW, plenty of other tailors in town. If you're reading this, keep moving and find another. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I brought in a new dress with tags that I tried to tailor myself but stopped the first cut at the hem. Long story short, I listed it on Poshmark as new with tags with slight hem alteration. I brought it in to this business to fix my trepidation with doing it myself and they sewed it back up. HOWEVER they decided to remove my tags, extra buttons and extra thread and throw them away. The dress price just tanked. I called and asked for them back and they admitted to throwing them away. What?!? They have no right to remove anything from my clothes! I went to double check and the owner lied right to my face and then became confrontational. He's a liar and he just smirked when he told me to show him that it had tags on it. This is after he admitted to removing them. Stay clear! read more

Excellent service! I brought in a pair of jeans and a dress for an upcoming wedding I am attending, and Mr. Song(?) did an excellent job on them and was very quick and professional! I couldn't even tell anything had changed about my clothes until I put it on--granted, it was just some hemming, but it was professionally done and ready in exactly a week, which is when I was told it would be. A little pricier than I had expected at $70 total (and unless I missed it prices aren't exactly posted, so I assume he decides what to charge on a case by case basis so keep that in mind) but in my opinion worth it for the quality of work. read more

I have no problem with the work that was done hemming several pairs of my pants. However, I had a hole in a pair of blue jeans that I did not want patched, and I explained this before leaving. When I returned to pick up the pants, I was charged $24 to patch the hole. After explaining that I did not ask for this, they would not give me a discount or a refund. As a result, I will not do business again with this tailor again. read more

I have been here many times. They usually do good work. This time my suit hadn't been altered at all, but they charged me over $100. I didn't try on the suit for a few weeks. When I took it back to get fixed they charged me $62. Long story short they do not honor the quality of their work. They did cut the price in half. So I paid $150 to have a suit altered. My family and I have been customers for many years and had been pleased. However, recently my experience has caused me to write an unfavorable review. I brought 4 dresses to them for alterations. At the time of fitting, I was quoted $55 per garment. When I picked them up, the price had been increased to $75 per dress. When I questioned the surprise charge, I was not given any explanation. I did pay the amended charges. When I discovered there was a problem with one of the dresses, I returned to the shop but was not offered any help correcting the situation. DO NOT give this establishment your business!! They are not only RUDE, but the man literally YELLED @ ME?!! I asked him to look @ a dress I was picking up and paying for today and not only did he REFUSE to look @ the dress where the stitching was done poorly and on the outside not inside seam so it was visible, , he seriously was YELLING and pointing at the receipt to just pay him and leave. He then threatened to keep my dresses by moving them from rack to the back room. Unfortunately, I needed to wear one of the dresses tomorrow so I was forced to pay him the OVERPRICED HIGH amount for LESS THAN SATISFACTORY alterations and AWFUL service. I am appalled that this man is getting away with running a business in Frisco. He could not CARES LESS about the EMBARRASSING work that he puts out, but also believes that it is acceptable to be VERBALLY ABUSIVE to customers. This was not the first time I had done business with this place but IT WILL MOST DEFINITELY be my LAST!! Please, be smart and spend your hard working money elsewhere-there are plenty of Alterations places that would be happy to actually EARN your business. read more
