FANTASTIC!!! The couple who own this shop are incredibly kind, friendly and boy are they good at what they do. Initially I tried them on a recommendation and now I take everything here. My 3yr old has crazy rips, tears and holes in all of his pants and they fixed them to perfection, including reinforcing the knees to further protect them. They have masterfully hemmed my jeans, repaired holes in the knees of my favorite jeans as well as repairing the inseam and crotch of multiple worn jeans worn by my sons and hubby. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I could take anything to Kris Tailoring and they would repair it perfectly. A friend of mine recommended this place after she got a couple of bridesmaids dresses tailored last minute. Have been three times since, twice for dresses that needed to be taken in, and once for a pair of jeans that I loved but were too big after I lost some weight. I love the folks here, and the prices are extremely affordable -- a lot of work had to be done on the jeans especially, and I know that jeans aren't the easiest clothing item to take in, but it came out to a very reasonable $30 and the tailoring turned out perfect! Normal turnaround times are a week after you come in; I haven't needed to get anything expedited yet, but given the quality of work I've experienced here so far, I have no doubt they are up to the challenge. Wish I could put 0. Thought I had gotten lucky. No. Went in to have a suit tailored for a wedding. Specifically asked right when I walked in if it could be ready in time. Yes is the answer. Great, thank you so much. Go in to pick it up Saturday morning and they had done nothing. Said it'd be ready Wednesday. Well I don't need it done four days after the wedding. So now I have nothing to wear to the wedding and am wasting my day trying to find something to wear so I don't look ridiculous. They completely screwed me. Never again. All they had to say is no we can't get it done by that date. Instead they say they can and I am left stranded. So beyond POed. read more
