I needed a Mother of the Bride dress hemmed rather quickly. I brought the dress in on a Thursday and requested it back on Monday before leaving town the following day. When I received a call Friday morning stating the dress was ready for pick up, I was shocked! She was patient with me when I asked to adjust where I wanted the hem of the dresses to hit and then was able to quickly mark the length with pins. I have been using Vita Tailor for quite some time however the time is now to leave. Her pricing is ridiculous and I honestly think the prices are exorbitant and solemnly based on your physical appearance complexion. There is no way the hym and increase of the split of a dress should have costed $130. I enjoy her work but my husband has also shared similar experiences on price gouging, we are also both petite individuals. After taking the dress to another seamstress and getting a quote this further confirms my suspensions. read more

I've had nothing but great experiences with Vita Tailor. The first time I came here I needed some swimsuits tailored ASAP and she agreed to get them done in time and did just that, and the fit of them were perfect. Since then I've gotten 3 items tailored from her and the turn around times are not quick, but I think that's because they leave room to do rush orders (which I have benefited from in the past so I don't mind). She always ask if the time they'll be finished is okay, so I think if I expressed I needed my things back sooner she would work with me. On top of the customer service, I've been impressed by her knowledge of current trends and the way things should fit, meaning I don't have to make all the decisions myself on where the hem should fall on pants etc. This is my first time really trusting a tailor, every time prior to this has been been so-so.
