I'm not going to name the stylist but seeing the look on her face after she complains to the woman who usually is at front that I talked to much was just school girl antics. To the stylist if you hate your job that much QUIT . Long term customer for before 2018 Sad to be teased and the reaction from the stylist was totally uncalled for. Edit on response: I didn't want to even go back to your place because of the look of disgust and teasing about me talking a lot that I received. Why confront it? It made me feel horriable ! I was very nervous and the stylist looked like she smelled something replusive when Trudy asked if she took a picture of my hair. I guess I should of just shut up and stuck my nose in my phone . I have struggled with female pattern baldness/alopecia since age 15. It has been so bad I have not been to a beauty salon since 2003. The last 12 or so years I have used a colored hairspray to cover the bald spots the best I could. My hair has looked like a disaster for as long as I can remember. I tried to buy wigs in the past and just could not pull the trigger and wear them full-time as I lived in fear of them falling off ,tilting or just looking unnatural. Also this is Arizona and it is so hot ,the thought of a wig, There was just no way. I heard of getting a hair system and after lots of Internet research I found tons of men doing it but not a lot of women talking about doing it. I searched yelp for Local hair centers and contacted a few women through their yelp reviews to ask questions. They were truly blessings. Without them I may not have gone through with this. If you're reading this and you have questions please feel free to message me. OK the review for elements of hair: I called to make a consultation and I met with Lori the owner. They have private rooms which is huge for me because there was no way you're going to see my head uncovered in a room full of salon chairs and other people looking at me. So private rooms is a must and they provide them there. I had 1001 questions for Lori. Besides questions I brought with me my insecurities and my fears and all my emotions to this consultation. She was so knowledgeable and answered every single question I had. Made me feel so comfortable. By the time I left the consultation I was so excited I could not wait to do this. One of the things I read on the Internet is that people suggest you buy 2 hair systems. Lori Said that was not necessary, that was something they used to do when it took a long time to order the hair now they can get it in five days. So I did not feel like she was trying to plus sell me which made me feel even more comfortable going with elements of hair. She showed me different hair systems and helped me match my color. I wanted it to look as natural as possible to my own hair if I had any LOL. I placed the order and made my appointment for one week later. I was so excited for this appointment. Lori was there to help and I had an appointment with Kelly who did the cut in. The two of them together made me feel so relaxed and they did the best job I could've imagined. In my mind I was worried it would just be OK and that at this point I really don't have a lot of options .I would just have to live with whatever happened and however it looked. But I will tell you 2 and a half hours later I started crying .I've not seen myself with this much hair in 20 years. I felt beautiful . I felt normal. I wish I would've done this 15 years ago I am looking forward to being a long-term client with elements of hair . She's super thorough and takes her time with not only when doing your hair, but making sure she knows exactly what you want. She's also honest, which is HUGE. She'll be upfront when telling you what needs to be done to get your goal hair, so I let her take the reins and I've never been disappointed. She's extremely knowledgeable and knows what process will work best for you and your hair to achieve exactly what you want. Every time she has done my hair I get the most compliments I have ever gotten and I just feel good! She notices the little things and will communicate with you during the process too. For example, while doing my hair she asked me "hey do you wear your hair up a lot?" (And of course I said yes because I rock Ariana Grande pony tails and buns like it's my job) and then asked me if she wanted some highlights on the underside of my hair so they'll show when I wear it up. Then when she was done she charged me 224$. She said it cost more because she also had to cut my hair after the perm. All she did was cut it. She did not blow dry it or curl it. All the perms I have ever had which dates back 40 years the cut has always been included in the price. I will not be going back to her to to dishonest pricing she gave me.

I had (note the past tense) a horrifically awful perm (mistake #1) which I had done at a beauty school (mistake #2) & it was taking forever to grow out. Ateh Cat fixed my hair so that I look human again, as opposed to looking like I just stuck my finger in an electric socket. I absolutely love my hair now! I won't go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my hair again! Tip: The salon is sort of hidden behind a Jack in the Box, so make sure you keep an eye out for it!
