It reminds me of hanging out in someone's backyard, watching everyone's dogs play. They do a good job at offering events for your puppies and even sending you reminders when your vaccinations are expiring! Just make sure you have your vaccination records ready to present when you arrive. First, there's plenty to do for the pups. Offering a variety of obstacles and mini pools for them to cool down in is enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours. Every time we've been there were lots of dogs, and they have always been super friendly (don't get me wrong, there's always a yapper or two but nothing too serious). If you're nervous about coming due to lots of other dogs, they have staff who is constantly roaming the play areas ensuring any aggressive behaviors get resolved immediately. If watching dogs be goofy isn't enough entertainment for you, they offer plenty of chairs to sit down and enjoy a beer or beverage of choice. Everything is in a can (make sure to use the nifty can cruncher onsite and recycle after) and there's a decent list of options to choose from. They also have a few tv's from every angle if you just can't miss the game.

Roxie was able to run and play, both solo and with the other puppies that were visiting that day. Our last trip here she was annoyed by an aggressive little puppy whose owners actually encouraged his rough play with my terrified little pooch. I guess that's what you have to deal with in dog parks. The small dog area is very grassy, and doesn't have too many areas where mud would be a problem. There are poop bags readily available and a water station for your thirsty pups. There are also benches and sitting areas for humans should you get tired out or just want to sit and watch your doggy socialize, run and play. Great atmosphere for your pooch!

This track was huge and sorta intimidating! 1 lap around = 1 mile. We managed to WALK 3 miles but it was a little bit of a challenge. Hopefully the next time I come here I'll be able to run and not just walk the track. By no means am I a runner but I am trying to challenge myself more with my workout regimen. The park was super crowded due to baseball games going on. There are several baseball fields along with soccer fields. This is a nice facility. Oh and there is a small and large dog park on site as well! I plan to bring my fur buddy to the dog park real soon. I'm sure he'll love it! There is adequate parking with ease to accessing the park. The park is located right off the main Hwy so it's really easy to find.

But I can't trust my Labrador or my mutt (bc both would run off I fear ) my lab is ok at daycare but after aid of docs he doesn't know . I'm staring to brig my new puppy ( a golden retriever who's 4 months old to train him to stay off leash and not run off ! When we got it pulled up on the GPS, I was CONVINCED it was a mistake because we could not find it. We drove all around the block but could not see where it was, even though GPS said we were clearly there! We starting seeing a playground and open areas behind a bunch of houses, so we knew we were nearby. We drove around more and finalllllyyy found an entrance. It is hidden-- the entrance is on Kingsbury Ave. I've posted a picture so you'll know where to find it and what it looks like. There's also only street parking available. It was a Tuesday afternoon in May that we went, and it was so peaceful. The park is completely surrounded by houses (why it's so hard to find). There was only one other person there doing some running exercise. There's a playground, swings, track, picnic tables under some huge trees, and a good amount of open area. It was a hot day so we ate lunch under the trees, which kept us very cool. Then we played on the swings and playground as an attempt to relive our childhood memories! No bathroom or water fountain (maybe I missed that) that I saw. All in all-- a nice peaceful park. Maybe when school is out it might be busier, but I enjoyed myself!

Same for my newest dog who has gone to day care once every week or two for about 5-6 months. They all know him too, partly because he's so energetic, and he plays endlessly! He has been in puppy training and they have helped me reinforce good habits and giving him time outs so he can decompress from all of the doggy stimulation. I wanted to leave this review because I believe their score on Yelp should be much higher! My youngest is a Husky mix and my oldest is a pug.

There were plenty of water fowl to gaze at or feed a healthy snack to. The water was lovely to look at and the star in the middle of the lake is how the park got its name. There were cars busily going around the area, so it's not the quietest park I've been to. While I guess it's a public park, It's still in a neighborhood so I question if it was built for the people that live around it. Anyway, I would visit again if I'm near the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
