I had an owner take over her grooming. The 1st one was okay just a few things she didn't do that I showed her pictures on how I'd like it to be. Not completely a sanitary cut but do her butt not her tail. She trimmed it. It was long her hair was long. I had to keep washing her for a month till she seen her again. Then the last groom I showed pictures of Sasha with rounded face and her star was not to be cut. This I believe was not difficult to accomplish. I picked her up and immediately noticed she shaved or came close to that on her head. I told her you cut half of her star on the top of her head off. Then I noticed she didn't shave her butt I asked her to do it, so she took Saha and put her on the table grabbed her tail , Sasha let out a loud high pitched cry, she asked her sister to help her hold her. That was like a stab in the gut. Her cry.. She handed her back and I knew I would not be back. I have a few pics.. of her what she looked like the last pic is what Darla did last day.

After trying multiple places, we found that DINR was simply the best of the best. For around $15, they not only cut her nails but file them as well. After going to places like Petco and even the ARL, we found that that DITR is able to control our dog much better which leads to being able to cut the nail shorter. Win! The staff is very pleasant and they keep the salon very clean and stocked with goodies for the pups after a grooming session. They also accept walk-ins which is a huge plus!

My husband and I have used this particular Camp Bow Wow in Ross Township since 2022. For roughly two years, we kept our English bulldog Olive here for occasional daycare and boarding. The employees seemed to always treat her nicely, and she seemed to enjoy her time here, although sometimes tall dogs would pee on her! I did notice that many prescription pills for anxiety and incontinence were not administered and were returned to us, but her health was fine, other than contracting kennel cough and an eye infection from other dogs one time. In 2026, we took our French bulldog Daisy here for a free "interview" for a few hours or so to make sure that she interacted well with the humans and other dogs. My husband and I were able to log into the Camp Bow Wow app on our phones to view Daisy running around. Sometimes the videos did not load well, but we were able to see enough. Update: Daisy has spent several days of daycare here, and she seems happy to see the humans and dogs.

When I went to pick him up, he came out and all four legs and his belly were completely saturated in water and the girl told us he "spilled water in his cabin." I know my dog and he would not have even been able to spill his water and if he did would be spooked and ran away. There's no way he would have spilled the water and then fully laid in it which is the only way he would've got as wet as he did. It felt like they were hiding something. In addition, we picked him up around 5pm so he shouldn't have even been in his cabin at that time. We then stood there expecting the girl to say something and we did not know the check out procedure since it was our first time. She just continued to type on her computer with us standing there until we finally said something and she said "oh you can go." I asked if he did okay and she replied "umm well I didn't hear that he did anything bad." I just wanted to know if he enjoyed being there, if he ate, played, etc and she provided no information. Overall, we have no clue what happened while he was there, whether he was in his cabin the entire time, etc. because the cameras did not work and we were provided with absolutely no details about his stay. But I am very particular about my pets and who I trust them with, so the fact that I trust them with the staff here says a lot. I have short haired dogs that don't need much other than nail trims, but I appreciate that I can just stop by with them anytime and the staff knows them, and knows exactly how I like their nails to be done (clipped and Dremeled). I also have a pretty nervous breed and their regular groomer here has earned their complete trust and affection. We are in and out in 10 minutes for nails. Even more, until recently I was taking a very elderly dog I took in from a family member here for full grooming. She was blind and had dementia and needed someone to take a lot of care with her while she was at the groomer. Pampered Pet always did a very good job with her and I appreciated knowing that they were patient with her needs and didn't overwhelm her given her condition. She never came home appearing stressed which was a small miracle as she got toward the end of her life and I would take her with the primary goal of keeping her clean and hygienic. They do a good job here and genuinely care about the animals. I appreciate having them nearby.
