I can't speak for the Pet Resort side of Woolfles, but we did stop at their bakery to pick up some treats for our dog and her dog friends. Woolfles has a fun selection of cookies and bakery items to choose from. The woman working there was very friendly and helpful! We take our dog there to get groomed, over night lodging and daycare. He absolutely loves it and gets so excited to see the staff and all his friends! My dog and I are attached to each other 24/7. Woofles is the one place where she is ecstatic to go to and doesn't miss me, and where I feel totally comfortable leaving her. Hidden fees for dropping off and picking up at certain times WITHIN their business hours. Ridiculous, we will not be bringing our dog back here. We were also told that, while one dog only needed a 20 minute temperament test, for our other dog we were told that we had to pay for THREE DAYS of daycare before they would agree to board him overnight. I have never heard of such a thing. We would have loved to supposed a local business but not with these practices. read more

When I dropped my 5 pound (5 year old) HEALTHY yorkie off at the resort so I could go on vacation with my family in June 2021, I gave them specific instructions with regards to how often she needed fed, the types of food to feed her (all packed in her bag and labeled) and told them that in addition to the food I labeled for her...that she was not to be outside for long periods of time because she was so small. They said it was no problem and were very happy to have her. When I picked her up upon coming back from vacation, they bought her to me. She was physically very hot to the touch from being outside for so long and wet. When I asked why she was wet, they said she was playing in the fountain outside (my dog hated water). Additionally, she was extremely lethargic and the soft food I had given them to feed her was STILL IN THE BAG. Apparently they offered her the other food I left for her, but the soft food that she loved...that helped make her more comfortable when I went away was never given to her. I took her home to try and cool her off and get her rested and it was all downhill from there. That night, she began throwing up. She spent the next 3 days in and out of the vet being treated for dehydration and pancreatitis...that was caused by the heat exposure and changes in eating patterns because she wasn't being fed according to the instructions I gave them. Over the 3 days, I spent close to $5k in vet fees, making sure they didn't everything in their power to help her. I have asked Woofles for reimbursement and they never responded. Benson continued to worsen despite the vets efforts and had to be put down on 7/2...as the inflammation from the pancreatitis had spread throughout her body and caused a lot of issues. Just 48 hours prior to taking her to the pet resort, I had taken her to the vet for a checkup...where she received a clean bill of health. Never having missed so much as a vaccine or dental cleaning. How was it that my dog, checked into that resort being healthier than most humans...ended up leaving so sick that she died. Devastation is an understatement as to how this has impacted my life. And despite my efforts trying to work with an attorney, and the humane police officer from the humane society...it seems I keep running into dead ends in terms of accountability because of contracts they have in place when you drop your pet off, limited camera footage to see what actually happened...and general lack of responsiveness from the pet resort. I do not recommend this pet resort, by any means, for any service. read more

I do not recommend Woofles Pet Resort. Beth, the owner is very difficult to deal with. I received a charge that was not authorized for a $20 dog collar. When I inquired about the charge to a staff member, I was told that my dog was not wearing a "quick release collar" which is required, so they had to charge me for one. I explained that I have one at home and asked the staff member if I could bring it in next time and receive a credit. She told me I could. The next time I brought my dog back in for daycare, I brought my quick release collar. Beth was at the front desk. I explained to her that a staff member told me I would receive a credit if I brought one of my own. Her demeaner changed immediately to anger. All she cared about was what staff member told me I could receive a credit. I told her I didn't ask for her name. She became insistent on knowing and began to pull up all of my past reservations. She told me I could not have a credit because she cannot reuse the collar as my dog could have fleas. I told her I could not discuss further at this time as I had an appointment to get to. When I came back to pick up my dog she was not there. She had her staff member hand me a piece of paper that highlighted the section about the quick release dog collar and the staff member told me that she was not going to give me a credit. (she included her phone number on the piece of paper and said to call her if I had questions). I called her to discuss, and she never contacted me back. I have no issue with her policy, however the point was that I was promised a credit by a staff member and she refused, also in a very unprofessional manner. In addition, these collars can be purchased anywhere for less than $7 and she charged me $20. So, by failing to seek a resolution and neglecting any kind of professionalism and customer service, she ended up losing a valuable client over a mere $20. Red flags should have gone up when I heard negative comments about her, and also when I first went to look at the place I was not allowed to see where my dog would sleep. I also have heard other clients have left because she is difficult to deal with. (I never had an issue with her staff). There are plenty of other great day cares in the area that provide much better customer service than she does. She needs work. read more
