This place is the bomb. Been here three times and I'm giving them a 5 star. The lomo saltado is the best I've had in Miami. I had the anticucho and it was delicious. The Taipa team is spot on, they're courteous without being on top of you. I will be coming back for sure. Buen provecho

This was a cute hidden gem to find. We didn't even know this place existed, but thankfully we found it. It's a small place, but I enjoyed it. The food was good, tasted how it should. Although, I do like my aji de gallina to have more aji, mine was a tad bit bland. Aside from that, the service was great. Loved the environment and overall a good little restaurant to try out.

I came here with the husband for some tasty Peruvian food!!! We were looking for a place to eat when I asked him for jalea. We searched Yelp and found this place!! Of course they had jalea and of course it was good!! For 20 bucks we got the plate and shared between the two of us. It was absolutely delicious!!! I thought the prices were a little pricey for a whole in the wall Peruvian place but the food was good. I would come back here to try their link saltado.

Nice restaurant for quality Peruvian food. It's not a large place, with tables mostly for smaller groups. We enjoyed most of the things we ordered. As we could not decide between ceviche and jalea, we ordered the Duo Marino, which is half and half. I wish they have them not quite so literally "in one dish", as the ceviche juice makes the fried food soggy. Otherwise, taste is good. The Arroz con Mariscos al Cilantro has lots of seafood and full of flavor. The Chupe de Calmarones is not as flavorful, but also not salty like some other places.

As a peruvian venezuelan I can tell you that Taipá is the best quality/price peruvian restaurant in Miami. I've been to ceviche 105, Dr. Limon, La Ma,etc. Taipá has nothing to envy those other restaurants. They have a lunch special that includes 2 dishes for 12 dollars. That is unbeatable. I recommend any dish. Ceviche is good. Pollo salteado is top notch. Also all the desserts. I'm sure they will become a franchise or chain in the near future.

I'm so glad I ordered some take-out for the first time from this Peruvian restaurant! Ordered two Lomo Saltado with Fries rice and French Fries. Lots of food for an affordable pricing. The staff is very welcoming as soon as you walk in wearing masks and gloves at all times and they have in-door dining at 50% capacity with social distancing enforced. They offer delivery too. Cannot wait to order again from this hidden gem by bird road. (

What a great neighborhood restaurant. From the moment you walk in everyone was welcoming and had great attitudes. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best Peruvian I've ever had. The menu has plenty of selection and even the typical Peruvian desert was amazing. Server was attentive and helpful. The ceviche was probably our favorite for the night. Great portion and better flavor. Will definitely be coming back soon.

My boyfriend and I started going to the food truck and then once we heard they opened a restaurant we followed them there too! It's been a total of 4 years now and don't see ourselves ever stopping lol .The owners always remember us and never fail to greet us when ever they see us! We aren't Peruvian however we LOVE their Lomo Saltado and the yummy sauces!

I still had a couple of bites left, right after that octopus was hard and chewy I ate some of it because I was really hungry at the moment but not happy at all I told my server about it and still was charger for it, I wasn't expecting them to remove it from the check but at least a discount. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.. The food is not even great to make it up for the lack of common sense.

It was tart with a slight heat from the chili, with cilantro, thinly sliced red onion, sweet potato, and giant corn - nicely salty. The fish was fresh, and was nicely marinated. The Causa Ganadora was very good - cold mashed potato with Peruvian red pepper, oil, and lime, serviced with panko shrimp with a maracuya sauce. The panko shirmp was lightly crisp. The Lomo Saltado was good, too. The meat was tender, the fries were good, onions, and tomatoes with a side of rice. The Parihuela Acevichada was very tasty, served hot, with corvina, shrimp, squid, and musssels. To drink, I tried the Chicha Morada, with purple corn, pineapple, clove, and cinnamon was good. My server was friendly. It's a small place, with a small bar.

The octopus was perfectly cooked and tender, and the tiraditos had just the right balance of citrus and spice. What a gorgeous space for dates, birthday dinners or nights out. The food was incredible. Papa à la huancaina was excellent and it was probably my least fav thing we ordered. That should tell you how great the meal was. Arroz con pollo egg rolls ere insanely good. Stuffed with cilantro rice and chicken mixture and small dollops of sauce...get it. Please get it. They have another name on the menu, but you'll find it under appetizers. Aji de gallina was the best i have ever had. Ripped up chicken tossed in huancaina sauce and served with white rice and potatoes. The ceviche trio was amazing too. I thought classic would be my favorite. The I tried the rocoto and that was my favorite. Then I tried the aji Amarillo and that was my fav! All three are some of the best I've ever had. Would get the trio every time as I can't commit to just one flavor, Service was amazing too. Our server was so friendly and all of the staff brining out dishes were as well. Can't wait to visit again! We are considering staying in the same hotel across the street just to be able to drop in here for dinner again!
