Conch fritters, I forgot to take a pic of the whole order.

This restaurant brings me a lot of memories because I used to come eat here with my dad. Today, I went with my husband and the feeling was almost like old times. The ambience was very much as I remembered. It was spacious and clean. I ordered shrimp scampi with yellow rice, and sweet plantains. My husband ordered octopus scampi with black beans, ana tostones. My food was okay, the scampi and plantains were great but the rice was too dry. I did not like my husbands octopus scampi, but the beans and tostones were good. We ordered flan to share for dessert. Bar none, best restaurant flan I've tried in a long time. Our waitress Lidia was great and on top of all of our needs.

It was Friday afternoon and myself and some coworkers were on the prowl for a nice lunch spot. Lo' and behold we unanimously decided upon Bahamas Fish Market. ***Now quick little disclaimer I will be reviewing this as a consumer who ordered takeout/delivery*** Anywho I want to start by saying the cuisine offered here doesn't meet what I stereotypically expect Bahamian cuisine to look like. When I think Bahamian I'm thinking conch, souse, etc. It was more on the Latin side, but maybe there are some Latinos in the Bahamas that I don't know about haha. Aside from the dishes mainly being Latin in nature the menu was also in Spanish (though some dishes were translated on the app). Thank God amongst the 3 of us, 1 of us knew Spanish haha. That being said the menu choices were super great and vast! I kid you not we spent an entire 30 minutes exclusively dedicated to narrowing down what we wanted on the menu. The food was good overall! I didn't order the scampi but it did smell so delectable. And my coworkers who did order it said it tasted amazingggg paired with the rice (definite highlight of the lunch and next time around Im definitely ordering that). Another thing that was pretty good was the crab empanadas! Little bit of a savory/tomato/sweet taste. My dishes were between the good/okay range. I had the snapper fingers, potatoes (papas leonesas) and vegetables (vegetales salteados). We were so hungry we also ordered dessert! My coworker got the flan and she said it was good. Not the absolute best she's had but she liked it. I had the tres leches and mine was good as well, I would definitely order it again but it's not the best I've had either. All in all I would definitely order from here again and indulge in the non traditional "Bahamian" cuisine the place offers haha.

I had a great experience here the other day... I was greeted and welcomed upon arriving... I immediately wanted some Cuban coffee and it was amazingly delicious. And then I ordered a side of the fritters, one fish and one chicken I think, they were OK, a bit soft on the inside, but I suppose that's how it's supposed to be. And then I ordered a seafood pasta with Alfredo. Also very delicious definitely enough for three meals, the ambience is chill I said at the bar and the servers are all very friendly.

This location has been here for years, it's never really changed it's look. I personally haven't been back in about 7 years. When you walk in, you are greeted by the hostess , who then sprays hand sanitizer on your hands prior to being seated. Seating is separated, signs on desk, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Their menu has plenty of options to choose from, prices , as all fisheries, are based on market price, but I thought the prices were decent. The service we reviewed from our waitress was too notch! She was amazing !

I've got a snapper fish with white rice and black beans. The food is so amazing and fresh. I love it.

This used to be a good place to eat. Recently, I ordered a mahi to take home. It was NOT mahi. Will never go there again.

Oh my goodness RUN, do not walk, to Martinez Distributors. I had been here years ago to find pork…read moreshoulder for a NYE party and completely forgot about it until today. Once again, I was in the market for a pork shoulder and my Tia recommended I go here. Located in the Doral warehouse district this is a no frills spot to get any kind of meat and seafood you desire for a ridiculously good price. Think of it like a Costco but without needing a membership, and with more meat variety when it comes to cuts and sizes. This is a great spot to go to if you're planning a larger party as they have a ton of sausages, things to picar, and meat and seafood to choose from. I picked up tuna steaks for $6.99 (8 oz portion) as well as a 11 lb bonelesss pork shoulder for under $30. I will definitely be back for their assortments of cheeses, arepas, and cured meats (hellooo jamón ibérico). I also noticed they have frozen empanadas and other bakery items that looked perfect for my freezer or party prep. The service is really friendly and I found it to be clean and easy to navigate. There's a parking lot as well as street parking. I'd suggest coming during the week, as I did hear on the weekends it gets crazy. This morning I went before 10 am and I was in and out in 15 min. I will most definitely be back.

There is an option to purchase meat perfection here in South Florida and its name is Wild Fork…read more Now I've seen their advertisement that they're more than just meat and I've been in the store and I purchased more than just meat, but I have to say that for me it's all about the meat. Whether you want a huge Wagyu tomahawk steak, a skewer of marinated meat and vegetables ready for the grill, or some fresh hamburger, this is the place you're going to find it. I have learned from experience that it is simply the best. The best always comes at a price, but at Wild Fork the prices are actually reasonable. You can find a broad range of price points from choice meats at family friendly prices to prime meats at reasonable prices to Wagyu meat at premium prices but by my own purchases, I am certain that every time I am getting value and more importantly, great tasting cuts of meat. Whether I am purchasing short ribs or briskets for the smoker, steaks for the barbecue, or Osso Buco to braise, I am certain every time that I am getting the finest cuts for the particular dish I am preparing. I would call it restaurant quality, except what I have made it at home from what I purchased there has often exceeded anything I've eaten in a restaurant in flavor and quality. Today's order is a bit larger than usual because I filled my cart with plans to take out the things I did not immediately want but accidentally hit "Send." And while I'm sure customer service would've helped me to correct this faux pas, I was suddenly thrilled to know that I would have all of these choices at my immediate disposal. And despite what I said previously, in this review, I did go beyond just meat. A few fish portions will round out the menu for some time to come. OK, I can't write a review and not tell you my favorites. I am a huge fan of beef ribs and they have so many different ways to order it so I often find myself getting multiple types. Whether the Dino ribs or the full racks, the flanken style or thin cuts for Korean barbecue, I have absolutely loved everything that I have bought. In addition, the large briskets that I like to put on the smoker are exceptional whem purcgased from Wild Fork. They require less trimming than when I purchase from other places making it much simpler to prepare this for a wonderful meal for a crowd. The cowboy steaks are not the ones you see in the restaurants that are simply bone in ribeyes; these are huge pieces of prime ribeye, which can feed a family and taste better than anything you've ever eaten at those restaurants serving them. They are a better value than the tomahawk, but I always order one of those as well because they look so impressive on the plate. Of the order the only thing I've used so far this time is the hanger steak. I made this in an Asian inspired dish with vegetables and it was so tender and delicious that I am about to eat the leftovers for lunch. Wild Fork is a wonderful choice for your meat shopping, but I encourage you to look well beyond that. They have the best of rubs and their smoked sea salt somehow seems to make every steak taste even better. Their fish is delicious as is their chicken. I absolutely love their duck breast and game meats as well. They have many other items, including prepared meals, but I have yet to try those. Highly recommended.
