I have been doing my nails with Tai for over a year. I was always satisfied with the atmosphere, friendliness, and great service. However, the last two times I've gone he has been extremely rude. When I went 4 weeks ago my best friend called me to tell me she got a new job and Tai told me to get off the phone that it gives him migraines. He was very rude about it and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He supposedly had a migraine from me being on the phone but then proceeded to speak in a foreign language with other nail techs around him for the next hour. Apparently customers are not allowed to speak.I wasn't even being loud. The second incident was last week and this was the Last straw. Every time I go it's to do the hombre affect on my nails. It's the only thing that I ever do on my nails. I had pre-booked an appointment with him and when it was time to do my nails and I told him the regular he flipped out on me and told me "I'm not doing that today don't you see my salon is packed!!" and was very rude about it. He told me to pick a solid color or go somewhere else. I mentioned to him that if he's really busy I wouldn't mind somebody else doing my nails. I really wanted to do what I always do. He suggested if I wanted to do my nails wait to sit down and wait for somebody else and I would be behind the line of all the people that were waiting. That did not seem right to me considering I had booked an appointment a week ago with him and he was turning me away. I was so uncomfortable I did not know what to do. I honestly should've just walked out. I just picked a color and let him do it in a solid color. To make me even angrier the color I picked is not the color he put on my nails. Before I went to pay I noticed that the name on the bottle did not match the color that I picked at all. On top of that his prices are extremely expensive now. I paid $80 without tip just for a gel manicure and pedicure with a refill. To make things even worse a woman came in that had just done her nails the day before saying that one fell off. He told her he would charge her five dollars to fix it. Tai and the woman started arguing very loudly. It made everyone in the salon very uncomfortable.Go somewhere else. His service is not what it used to be. Two months ago I went and another lady there did my eyebrows because Tai was busy. She pulled off a chunk of my eyebrows. I was horrified. I had to pencil them in for several weeks so they could grow back out. Avoid this salon!!! After being honest and posting about my experiences at the salon, the owner Tai, took it upon himself to find me on Facebook, reach out to me through messenger, and personally attack me. I find this extremely inappropriate and feel very uncomfortable since this is harassment. Please be aware that if you post a negative review the owner will come after you. I saved all of the screenshots. He attacked my children and blamed them for the poor service he has provided me on multiple occasions. My last visit to the salon I witnessed him getting into a verbal altercation with a customer because he wanted to charge the customer to repair a nail that fell off. Mind you she just got them done the day before. Everyone in the salon felt uncomfortable watching their verbal altercation. I decide to go on yelp to be honest about my experience and now I get attacked. Beware. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE WORK Well one broke when I went to crank the car this morning, Monday day after, I went to the nails salon to get the repair and the guy that was there took all 4 people that walled in after me before me. So I was already mad and your going to throw in that too on top. Anyways I decided I'm in vacation I'll let it go. We'll when I was able to sit down with him he began to be an ass. The lady before me had already made a comment "Do u want me to go somewhere else?" He replied why are stated that he doesn't seem like he wanted to be there. Well he obviously did not because he refused to help me. I told him I would wait for the manager and this was like 9:30... it was now 10:50 and the lady that was in front of me with him told me the manager doesn't come in on Monday. WTF now I am really pissed and now I am causing a scene. I asked to have the manager called while I was there and again refused to spoken to. Well I had left because I'm on vacation and they are not worth my time anymore. So I get to where I'm going and the manager now calls me. He doesn't even listen to what I had to say either (I guess father like son I assume) so with sns you are to do at least 4 layers and a sealer on the nail before filing for final set. The best nail salon I've been to by far! My nail tech, Tommy did an amazing job! I walked in about 30 minutes before closing time and he definitely didn't disappoint. Tommy made sure to make my nails look exactly like the picture of the nails I showed him by making sure each color matched perfectly. Mindy did great on my eyebrows. She has a really gentle touch when it comes to eyebrows threading so they didn't hurt at all. They were shaped perfectly to my liking. From the chandeliers, to the open space, the asian head figures, and the bamboo.The entrance itself looks like your walking over a bridge floor with water below complete with fishies. You can tell Tai took his time to really make this shop stand out. I got off early one day and decided it was time for a little self pampering. I called and asked if anyone was available right away and they told me to come on in. Walking in there was no acetone smell and I was greeted by Tai himself. He is super sweet and stylish I must say. I was told to pick any color I wanted and boy oh boy they have the biggest nail color selection I've ever seen. Its on the walls but then there's even more colors you can choose from in a basket. I took my time but I knew what color I was leaning towards so it didn't take long and noone was rushing me either. I forgot her name but this gurl was great and took her time as I got my mani n pedi. She told me of all the different services they have him and about dip polish. I'm sorry but I am way out of the loop cause I was like,"What's that"? She explained the difference and the higher cost. Thought it would be something I would consider for the future. She took her time doing my chicken nugget toes ( yes, I really did say that and no, you may not call my toes that) And I noticed how everything is super clean and sterilized. They even put plastic in the tub for your mani that they change after each client, clean, and then put in a new plastic cover, brownie points for that. When it was time for my hands to be done she was meticulous with keeping my nails all the same length and perfectly square (that's how I like them). She painted my hands and toes with perfection! I loved my whole experience here and would highly recommend a visit. Don't forget, with every visit they offer soda, water, and WINE. It's the perfect pampering nail and lash salon! Today I went to the nail salon and it was recommended by a friend I never thought that I was going to write a bad review and this is one of them. When I arrived i was directed to sit with a the nail technician she gave me a price of $40 for powder dip and $25 for a pedicure which I found reasonable same price that I pay around the city unfortunately I had the experience that she was really rough told her multiple times to ease up and my dip powder looked like it was done by a 5 grader and then to top it off I left my card at home WiFi wasn't working so I couldn't access Apple Pay had to come back and pay they gave me a price of $75 which I was in shock I paid for it I didn't create a scene because that it's not in my character but I will never go or recommend someone there ever again. I went to this salon months ago and did not like the nails but my regular lady was no available and I decided to give it a second chance and asked for Liam based on the pictures. Made my appointment and when I got there there was nobody in front and I was about to sign in when a guy told me it wasn't necessary and I kept saying I had appointment. When I finished He took me to Liam and he kept saying he has app coming with an attitude but I had one with him too. I've been coming to this salon on and off since it opened because it's right next to home. I've always been happy with the quality depending on who does them. Up until recently the price changes have been ridiculous. I use to be able to get gel pedicure with short acrylics for $70 not including tip when I went recently they charged me $120. I know things are getting more expensive but that's a big price difference when the quality hasn't gotten better. Before they use to offer wine or water with your visit and you don't even get that anymore. If prices are going to go up like that than the services you receive need to match that price. read more
