When you go to a nail salon most people go to relax and not be greeted with a nonchalant attitude. I have to say that I haven't experience that behavior from the other workers. They all seem nice. However, I'm directly speaking about Jenny. She comes across with such an attitude. I'm not paying and tipping and having to feel like you are doing me a favor. There are many other nail salons that will appreciate customers who enjoy their services. You should learn to appreciate the service of your customers. Ghetto & expensive. The most unprofessional nail salon i have ever been to and mind you, I have traveled to many states and other countries. If you want to go to a place to get your nails done and feel pampered especially since you'll be paying a lot for them... this isn't the place. My experience : came in, was seen fairly quick. The woman doing my nails didn't acknowledge me whatsoever and gave the impression as if she was doing me a favor by being there. She constantly stopped in the middle of my manicure to use her cell phone... & Also started blasting music. For my gel pedicure, I didn't even get to see the options for gel. I gave her a color and she took the initiative to go ahead and paint the shade she wanted. This place is not meant for children. My first visit to this establishment. I Want to relax when I go to a nail salon and feel pampered. I walk in and the first lady asks how she can help me, I'm getting a pedicure. She sends me to a person by the name of Eric, he happens to be very different from your typical nail tech, but none the less I liked that he actually spoke to me and not just tap my foot and point. Reason for 2 stars is 1, He instantly turned music on his phone that was to me more of a distraction, but Ive notice at all the salons the techs are watching something or listening to music, is this the new way of service? 2. He didn't spend any time massaging my legs and feet. But on a positive note I'd give him and just him a 4 star for being the classiest person that works there. The other staff proceeded to talk garbage about a client that just left, saying she is super picky and doesn't tip well. Cursing like no one else was in there. Don't get me wrong I curse also but dang these ladies if I'd call them ladies, were ghetto as hell. Very disappointed. This is my third time going and probably not going again. I was planning to make this my go to shop because I live near by. But after my last visit I don't think I will be going. On the price board it clearly states That a refill is 15$ Gel polish is 15$ And pedicure is $25 Cut down is $3 I usually only spend $58 But I was over charged 63$ For basic short pink nails with no design. Then when I asked why I was told its because each person charges differently .......... This place was recommended to me, but after today I will not be returning. And the person that recommended me as well as a friend who comes with me each visit will not be spending a dime more in here. Sad lost of an extra 250$ monthly! Sendy is amazing!! My nails last for an average of six weeks they don't fall off and they don't lift. Absolutely stunning!!! Appointments are definitely recommended especially if you want to work with Sendy. She does not take same-day appointments so I highly recommend you call at least a week in advance. She's very pleasant to be around and has great music. Her nails are done fast and on point. They offer two different types of pedicures one a little more gentle than the other. If you like that real deep clean around your cuticles when you get your pedicure make sure to let her know and she will make sure her team takes care of you. read more

I love getting my nails done here. I do have to agree with the previous reviews regarding the other clients who come to this shop and yes it is a "hood spot" but I don't care because I tune them out and my nails are always perfect. LINA is super talented with her work, she always does exactly what I ask her whether is a picture that I show her or something from the top of my head. She works by appointment only so for me wait time is not an issue. I have been there without an appointment as well and have gotten my nails done with the other girls (Sendy and Imilse) and they are really good too, yes I waited but Is worth the wait.. If you go into a busy shop then you know you are getting something good, I don't know about you but I wouldn't go to a Nail Shop that is always empty. The prices are very good and reasonable. The only thing good about this shop are the designs that 2 of the girls that work there can do. THAT'S IT! The location is in a dirty plaza that has terrible parking, the nail salon itself is small and needs to be remodeled. The staff is beyond hood. They are cursing, have their kids running around, they are extremely loud and ratchet. If you are unemployed and on government assistance than this is the nail spa for you. If you are a working woman this is the last place you would want to go to. I don't know what's worse, the ratchet clients that walk in there or the ratchet staff. The opening time on Google says 10 am so I arrived at 10 am and they were already open serving nail needs they let me know that they open earlier so I can come earlier in the future. Finally a gem in Homestead- in Miami really. Yes the place is a tad bit ghetto. Yes the staff speaks hood and some dont even speak english. But you will get the best pedicure you have had a in long long time. Lina did my nails. My eyebrow lady goes there and I have always been inlove with her nails. I didn't like my experience here at allo. A technicians technique is completely different from service. I came in last week for a pedicure and wasn't greeted by anyone. Once I went to the back to get started, there was no water in the tub. She just started taking off my polish along with an attitude. I asked can I see the gel colors and she hands me one set of colors instead of all of them. When I asked, she stated 'this one has all the colors' when I know they don't! There's like a hundred gel polish colors so after asking her again she finally gives me the rest. Finally she starts my pedicure. No soak of my feet in the water, nothing. The water wasn't even ran yet. The part that really pissed me off is she didn't give me a massage! What the hell else did I come to get a pedicure for? Before she applied the polish I asked her for my masssage and she said yeah after I polish them. Mind you, I got regular polish on my feet so please tell me how that was going to work?! Was she going to wait until after they dried. She put lotion on my legs and that was it. I was so frustrated that I didn't dry my toes. I just paid and left but before I left I asked her why she didn't give me my massage, she says 'she forgot, sorry, it's her fault'. No discount, no correction, nothing! I still gave her a little $2 tip because that's what she deserved. She actually deserved nothing but I'm in the service industry so I still do my part. I will never be returning there!!! read more

I have been to 6 different nail shops around Homestead, Cutler Bay area. I was so disappointed in every one of them, I thought I would have to travel back up to Plantation where I use to live to get my nails done. I stopped into Nail 2000. It is not High Brow....but it is clean and organized...lots of loud talking among the clients(who are regulars) & the nail shop owner and nail techs. Very casual atmosphere, some words fly from time to time. However, they do the nails and the pedicures fabulously. I was so impressed with Mel. She took one look and did exactly what I needed done without asking. My nails looked great. The pedicure was done very well too. I walked out of there with baby smooth feet and nicely done toes. And it was reasonably priced too. I will be back. I believe I have found my nail shop and tech. So pleased with the work. . read more
