(I was mismatched with the wrong subject area to begin with.) Not to mention...horrid note taking and often had to request my visit summaries with detailed doctor notes which were hurried at best. Inconsistent lab quality - bizarre results other doctors even questioned. Unclear on their lab storage and transportation practices. Lab draws- one of the most painful needle insertions of my life and I have highly visible veins! Poorly trained or very distracted nurses here and there. For some lab tests they make the patient do the paperwork! Other functional medicine practices (all seem to lack operational funding) at least manage this aspect of care. And overall, my previous provider missed a lot of key markers. I'm grateful for some initial tests but the root cause could have been identified with the right tests I did with another practice. And their peptides are priced higher for same amount than other places.

Literally no doctor could see me right away in my area, the minute clinic was not interested in helping me, and any doctor or clinic accepting "walk in"s for that day and the next 2 were super far and I didn't wanna navigate confusing directions for 45-60 minutes with an arm that looked & feels like bloody ABC gum. I just wanted a doctors opinion, it dressed adequately, and some hugs from my sweet black Yorkie doggie. As a last resort I started searching local doctors & called here. The receptionist I spoke to tried her damnedest to get me in immediately but couldn't so I had to wait for Monday AM. I liked they had a shared covered parking garage with free parking, they are in walking distance of the Metra and bus, and that the waiting room was very spacious and they have free WiFi. The wait was moments after check in. I saw Dr. Breger who was very personable, calm, and respectful. He also seems very knowledgable (I'd expect that since he is a teaching affiliate of University of Chicago School of Medicine). I wouldn't hesitate to visit again for check up hopefully not an illness or bite. Or a less boring one, like a vampire or ware wolf bite. Then again he didn't do a ware wolf test. I had never been to Highland Park Hospital only knew it existed. Hospital looked clean and organized to me. The only ding was the urine hat in my discharge unit room was used not changed but I caught that and the nurse changed it (got me a new one). The whole team was professional throughout. Diligent on following patient safety rules from what I observed and patient centered is how I felt through my whole experience. They were also professional and kind to my family member. We got in and out smoothly. There is no parking lot fees to worry about only the highway and driving through dark residential streets is something to consider. However, we must drive through residential areas when going to Evanston Hospital too. Thanks Highland Park Hospital.

I saw Marjorie Kozlowski and she was very thorough and addressed all of my concerns. We scheduled a second follow-up appointment. I arrived on time and was seen almost immediately. Seriously, the wait time was minutes. Again, Marjorie was terrific. She has a fantastic bedside manner and you can tell that she really cares about her patients. Today is President's day, and Marjorie called me to follow up to see how I was doing on a national holiday! I was having some issues and she gave me a telehealth appointment right then and there. I don't know of many doctors who would take the time to do this. I can not recommend this clinic enough. So happy I'm under Marjorie's care.

The front desk and nursing staff are also very kind and we are almost always able to make appointments within 24-48 hrs. which is awesome as our schedule is sometimes hard to predict. From the moment I walked into this office, Dr. Kaplan and his staff made me feel totally comfortable. They are personable, accommodating and no crazy wait times. Even on the walk in basis for weekly shots. Dr. Kaplan TRULY cares about his patients well being. He takes his time to go over all the details of your care and if anything should be altered in your medications. And, ok this is a little thing but... unlike most offices, they even have a total array of current magazines to read while waiting the 30 min necessary post allergy shot. I won't bore you with the years of details of my diseases, but she took me under her wing and never gave up! She understands that a patient KNOWS their body and she listens to you from that perspective. She has NEVER thought I was crazy, or a drug addict, or a faker. She has always spent as much time with me as I need and listened to every word that I say. I have referred friends to her who were in the same position as I was; ready to give up, frustrated, and tired of being dismissed. I can honestly say that Dr. Siegel is THE BEST, most caring, most competent, most intelligent and funniest rheumatologist in the entire state. If she moved her practice out of state, I would find a way to see her. I never want another rheumatologist to handle my care. Also, her long time medical assistant Shannon is AMAZING! She always listens and does everything possible to help me, even when she is swamped. I couldn't imagine Dr. Siegel having any other assistant. I am so fortunate to have these girls in my life, even if it is to treat RA, systemic Lupus (or RUPUS as doc calls it), Fibromyalgia, and everything else. I heard wailing, crying, vomiting and a host of other sounds, all from other people in the ER, all waiting to be seen. I feel for them, this is a terrible situation to be in. When I left the hospital after 10 pm, there were just as many, if not more, people in the ER. The ER and nursing staff were helpful and caring. They did what they could do in a very busy, understaffed situation. While my relative's situation is uncertain, I did not appreciate several calls from Endeavor's palliative care department. This was upsetting and scary and I was unprepared for such a call.

We sent the message to check whether we could cancel a follow-up visit that seemed unnecessary to us, and the doctor replied that it would be fine to cancel. A few days later, we received a bill for sending that message. In all the years we have used Endeavor, we have never been charged for sending messages. And nowhere on the web portal does it indicate that customers will be charged for sending a message to their doctor. I called Endeavor and a representative said this is a new policy. I explained that we were never charged before, and there is no indication anywhere on the site that we would be charged for sending a message, but the representative said the charge stands. I have lodged complaints with various state agencies, and have left reviews detailing this unethical behavior. This is terrible, awful service that only encourages patients NOT to reach out to their doctors with concerns.
