The rest of the onsite team I interacted with was terrific too - warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient - all around great experience. Had a follow-up appt today via zoom. Again - great experience. Your model works great for me as I travel quite a bit and being able to get care in different locations in person, via app or video call is super important to me. Everyone knows who you are after only a couple of visits. All appointments are followed up by a thorough report on their site. I had an after hours issue that I reported by phone. The response was almost immediate. I received an email detailing what I should do if my pharmacy was closed overnight. The prescription was ready within a couple hours. Seems pretty lacking in organization to me. And quite ridiculous that they didn't replace the doctor and expect me to change my appointment time that I've had for MONTHS. I will not be going back to this establishment. I will find a new doctor if I have too. That is actually ridiculous that I'm called 4 hours before my appointment saying I need to reschedule day of or come in early because they can't do their jobs. If your doctors call off a day that is your job to call all clients that day BEFORE THE DAY OF?!?! To tell them they are off. And ask to reschedule. The day they take off would be a nice start to call the people who have done their part to make an appointment.

I hate seeing reviews based on how she is dressed? Obviously the people who left reviews are more hung up on fashion than they are physical care. For example, when my blood pressure was first taken it was high and she was concerned. I explained that I usually need to do my blood pressure a second time after i have "settled in." Dr. Abrams insisted that I wait 5 more minutes after the physical so that she could get a 2nd blood pressure reading, which turned out just fine! That is someone who is listening to the patient. The office is efficient and the wait is usually minimal compared to a lot of other doctors. She is always on time and if she seems a little rushed, blame that on the medical system who puts ridiculously high standards on the doctors for the number of patients they need to see in a day. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Dr. Abrams has always been there for my family and was at the hospital any time that one of us had been admitted. I won't bore you with the years of details of my diseases, but she took me under her wing and never gave up! She understands that a patient KNOWS their body and she listens to you from that perspective. She has NEVER thought I was crazy, or a drug addict, or a faker. She has always spent as much time with me as I need and listened to every word that I say. I have referred friends to her who were in the same position as I was; ready to give up, frustrated, and tired of being dismissed. I can honestly say that Dr. Siegel is THE BEST, most caring, most competent, most intelligent and funniest rheumatologist in the entire state. If she moved her practice out of state, I would find a way to see her. I never want another rheumatologist to handle my care. Also, her long time medical assistant Shannon is AMAZING! She always listens and does everything possible to help me, even when she is swamped. I couldn't imagine Dr. Siegel having any other assistant. I am so fortunate to have these girls in my life, even if it is to treat RA, systemic Lupus (or RUPUS as doc calls it), Fibromyalgia, and everything else.
