Although I work out and eat healthy, I was recently hit with the runny nose and sore throat. I needed an extra boost to recover and get well, so I found this Elixr clinic just off the 36th Street Causeway (close to Wynwood). I was told they have other locations in Brickell and Ft Lauderdale. I called and was able to get an appointment almost immediately. Kristina my nurse was helpful in asking my symptoms to get the appropriate IV & supplements. She also has great hands; I barely felt the needle! My IV took about half hour, and I hardly noticed the time in their office setting (ie instead of a hospital aesthetic.) I'd certainly recommend!

It took 4 or 5 trials to get my girlfriends vein but she said her veins were not easy to find so after few trials my friend gave up and was in pain so didn't want to do it anymore (mind you hers was going to be free for the social collaboration) .... but my veins are like IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS on both arms! Like insanely visible and thick... it took another 3 trials on me on both arms, each of them more painful than the other and then when she said it's in, my skin started swelling like scary! So I told her to take it down right away and ended not doing it either ... she did give me a B12 shot complimentary before leaving, but no one called texted or even checked on me the next day or the day after until I complained and then they reached out by text not even a call, saying it's ok the bruising and swelling will go away between 2-4 weeks !! Even my dogs vet, calls the next day to check after his get his shots !! This isn't a manicure or eye brow threading, this is medical services and not a cheap one, so I do expect nothing but the best !! So the text says that I should go buy some stuff to help like arnica or whatever ... so you mess up and don't even try to redeem yourself ??? ‍ I actually have pictures and I sent them to my lawyer because it's one thing to make a mistake and own it and try to fix it but TWO fails on two different people and not even an attempt to check or to make it up to a new costumer is very unprofessional and low class ! The check in process was quick and easy. I was seen by the Medical Technician, Jorge Leyva who promptly took my vitals and during my visit administered a couple Nebulizer treatments. He was very polished medical technician with great medical knowledge. He answered many questions and had good patient skills, listening, empathy and real concern for my well being. Lastly, I saw Dr. Joseph Ballarini who diagnosed my condition as Bronchitis and prescribed the nebulizer treatment as well as 2 prescriptions. Dr. Ballarini has over 20 years experience and is the owner operator of the Miami Beach Urgent Care. His approach to patient care is second to none. In my 69 years on Planet Earth have I ever experienced such outstanding patient care. Dr. Balerini was down to Earth, very knowledgeable and could relate to me at a patient level versus using a lot of medical terminology. His bedside manner is excellent. When I come in for my appointment, there is only one girl available with a couple of years of experience. The way she was answering my questing as if I was asking about weather, the answers were very uncertain. Who would let anyone with so little experience inject their face? Needless to say, I just left. What a waste of my day! When I confronted their staff about their misleading practices, they just kept denying everything and turned the story as if they denied the service to me. Wow.
