Everything in my breakfast was cooked just i liked it. In a breakfast i really pay attention to the poached eggs , which i can be real finnicky about .These were cooked to perfection. The yolks not hard or even a little hard but soft and runny that the yolk ran out nicely ( if one can say it that way!). Everyone else was happy with thier meals and me having the biggest sweet tooth was the only one who chose a dessert. Though a simple one of a chocolate cake it went down well. So, anyway overall . On the food front no complaints. Particularly impressed with the poached eggs. Service was great, especially with the speed of and throughout the meal the girl coming by occasionally but not being overly intrusive to ask how things were. When we went we sampled the crumbed prawns, the fish sliders served with a liberal smothering of tartare sauce, wedges with lashings of sour cream and chives and fall-of-the-bone ribs served with a rustic slaw. Whilst the dishes weren't overly complicated they were packed full of flavour and had been prepared with care. Apparently they have a lot of gigs here too - the details of which can be found on their FB page - but personally, I am just hanging out for another sunny weekend so I can while away the hours on that back deck of theirs!

On my first visit I had a hearty lunch of fish and chips, which went great with the beer. Light and heavy at the same time. The kitchen was closed on my second visit, but if that happens while you're here there are tons of other great options nearby for food. On the weekend, this place gets busy, loud, and happy. The service was very good despite being busy and there's a separate lounge and kids play area if your darlings like to do more leaping and jumping than sitting up at a table. It's a little off the main street so you'll need to find it, but it means there is parking, which can be hard to find in Titirangi.
