Sad to see the business just tank!!!! Seems like every visit something isn't working, or they or out if the napkins, the trashes are over flown and the up keep just don't exist l!! So I was told today they are changing to a take 5 car wash whatever that is! So with that being said until the remodel they refuse to fix anything or upkeep it! My problem with this is they are still charging me my full price for a half A$$ service! I tried to get on their website and it don't work anymore nor have I been able to reach a member of management.... Car wash was horrible. I took two vehicles through back to back. Both came out looking almost as bad as the went in. No towels to hand dry, poor vacuum cleaners, no way to remotely clean the vehicle. Spent $16 on the wash and will have to go somewhere else to get the car washed. read more

This car wash used to be one of the best in town before it was sold to Take 5, who seem to ruin everything they touch (Bolton's Oil Change). My car was still dirty with spots all over it, likely because they haven't changed their filters. They also no longer hand dry and I was given an excuse it was because of OSHA regulations. I've had a membership here for several years and canceled it because every location has gone downhill. read more

Do not risk going to racer car wash! Racer car wash scratched my car, I could hear it happen while I was going through the wash, I immediately got out after the wash and saw the scratches all the way down the car. I immediately told the manager and asked to see the video. He said that I am not allowed to see the video and had me fill out an incident report and that they would call me back. 3 days later I called them back due to racer not calling me. They let me know that they were not going to put a claim on it because they do not fix cars that are older than 5 years old. read more

Car wash runs a credit card recharge scam. customers are not able to cancel even if they follow really insane cancellation steps. Their policy is to push back customers with monthly passes and wash first time customers first in an effort to get more monthly pay customers. their equipment is nearly always problematic. I thought I needed to cancel the auto deal on the 9th of the month. So I called on the 8th thinking I was one day ahead to find out it had been charged on the 6th. I got my days mixed up. Rylie guided me through the cancellation process and told me to make sure to state why. So I put that I got the days mixed up but I'm in Dallas also and no longer need it. I asked for corporate number which they say they don't have but give me the number to the Gm. He told me give it 5 business days for the refund and then if nothing happens he will take care of it. Today, I get a call from Hailey, she told me that there'd be no refund because I used the car wash the 8th. I told her that's impossible I was sitting on a couch in mesquite Texas that day speaking to riley about canceling. After a brief back and forth, yes you did you use, no I didn't I was 400 miles away she said she figured it out and that when I spoke to Riley he must have put it in as if I was there getting a car wash. That doesn't make sense to me but whatever. But I became even more infuriated when I found out that Jason, the person I've communicated with twice NEVER SENT the info to corporate for a refund because he thought I ran through the car wash that day. Not ONCE did he bring this up when we spoke, all he did was say he'd help. So here I am thinking he's helped when in fact he never bothered to submit it. I took a screenshot of my bank charges that proved I was in the Dallas area on the 8th. I don't appreciate being accused of something I didn't do and being called a liar. It's now submitted (or so I'm told, I was told before that it had been submitted so we shall see) and I've sent the proof. So now I have to wait ANOTHER 5 days for my refund. I will eventually be back in Amarillo but I can promise this, I will NOT be using this place. Not after this. Communicating one thing with me and doing the opposite PLUS accusing me of lying was it for me. I also don't like not being able to directly complain to corporate myself and have to rely on someone else on my behalf who obviously doesn't have me, the customer, best interest at heart. STAY AWAY. I've seen multiple customers suffer cracked windows and windshields (me being one of them) because the pressure is way too high in the car wash. My brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee suffered a cracked passenger window! Haven't even heard back from management. I know the $20/month deal is appealing, but I totally recommend going to a touchless car wash if you care about your vehicle. read more

I would not recommend anybody pay for a reoccurring charge to amarillo Auto Clean. I've been paying monthly customer for the last 3+ years and I went in last night simply get a car or get my truck wash just like I've always done and they told me we cannot wash your truck. I have a fifth wheel hitch in the back they said until I take everything out of the back of my truck they cannot wash it. Needless to say I cancel my monthly charge and we'll go to quick quack a much better car wash. read more

I have a sticker and pay monthly for unlimited basic washes. I was there at 4 pm July 2, upgraded to most thorough wash. As I vacuumed, I noticed there was the same dirt, lighter all around the car. Drove around, car wash was down, 2 people there, one working on wash, one watching... told them the problem, not interested in making it right. I've used nearly every automatic car wash in town. This one is easily my favorite. I've washed dirty pickups, sedans, jeeps and SUVs here. All of them turned out great. The vacuums are awesome and if you subscribe to their car wash club, the perks are pretty good. I've been a customer almost since the first day they opened and couldn't be happier. They had some trouble with the automatic gate for subscribers a while back but it's been fixed and has been working well for a while now. Highly recommend them. read more

When i first moved to town I got a membership for unlimited washes. Started out being a great wash and then one wash scratched my truck on both sides. Looked like steel wool went up and down my truck. I took it back in to show them and the said their brushes could not do that damage. This car wash does the best job of any in Amarillo. I just got back from a 1000 mile road trip with just as many bugs on the front of the car. The crew took some extra time spraying the front of the car and windshield before I entered the car wash. Result, car came out cleaner than if I hand washed it. Good job guys. read more

Nice new place, very friendly and young crew. Nice new machines, washing process is fast ! Maybe a little too fast nice my car still had some easily removable stains. Save some $$$ and stick with the cheapest level of wash. I stayed the same time there paying the 20$ combo as a girl that had the cheapest 5$ combo. read more

On first visit I was encouraged to buy the monthly subscription and have priority service so I paid for the subscription and washed my truck. (NOTE) my truck has an attached tool box in the back when the subscription was purchased. The next week I visited the same location but couldn't go through due to wash being out of service, I was advised to go across town to the other location. It was also not operating. over the next couple of months I was able to wash my truck without incident then was told I could not use the wash because I had the tool box in the bed even though it was attached to the bed when I purchased the subscription. I requested the attendant cancel my subscription she said no problem. I did not expect a refund but the next month my card was charged again. I called and was told that it was a mistake and would be corrected but the charge was not refunded. I called the location again to complain then was told I had to go online to cancel the subscription that I could not cancel over the phone. I asked for a phone number for a supervisor I was advised this would not be provided. I would not recommend any car wash that is owned or managed by this company. Unfortunately one star is the lowest rating. They're car wash is not that great and they are not concerned with being unethical !!! read more
