They never called we had to call them and when we did they said "o yeah they got here yesterday". I was then told they needed the car over night to get the tires on. I don't know why it takes so long but any other place I have taken it to does it in a couple of hours. Then when they come to take the car they finally tell me that some of their machines are not working and I will have to take it to another place to get it finished. The price for each tire was 87.50 for each tire out the door (mount, balance and alignmen). they put two tires on and gave me two but still charged me for the mount and alignment for all the tires. If they treat the cars how they treat their shop I would never go their again.

I was on my way from near Chicago to MD on US 30 when the oil light came on. The next exit was…read moreOttawa Rd less than a half mile away. I took the exit and pulled into the Marathon station. I bought 2 quarts of oil, poured it in and it immediately poured right back on the ground. The station owners gave Mack Automotive's phone number; I called and Colin said he would come up and look at it and then come back after they closed and tow it to their place. After they closed he came up with his truck and a jack and fellow mechanics. They jacked it up and started checking on things, deciding that it was most likely the oil pan plug had come out. I am a mechanic's son and could tell from their diagnostic discussions that they were all experienced mechanics. They removed the under body pan and found the plug. They reinstalled it and added oil. The car started and sounded normal. Since the car had been serviced about two weeks earlier in IL they told me that I should call the dealer right then and there to report this incident, which I did before I started on. As I said, Colin and his crew are seasoned mechanics. But they are also good people. They could have said it was after hours and they would tow it to their place and work on it tomorrow. But they worked on it right there in the gas station lot, and I was on my way. Thank you, Colin and crew. You saved my trip to see my relatives!

I went to this location right after getting off work today. I was past due for an oil change and my…read moreusual place is a couple states away since I've been traveling. Luckily I got there just before the rush so I didn't have to wait to pull into a lane. They have three service lanes and just a few minutes into my oil change I noticed the lines forming in the back. The young man who was handling my transaction was extremely friendly and informative. I've never been to a quick change location before so that put me at ease. They have the transaction screens right next to your door. When they check your filters they show them to you and discuss the condition they're in. I felt like the young man was honest in discussing with me that my filters are almost to the point where I'd need to change them but that they should still be good until my next oil change. He helped me reset the oil change maintenance light too. They also visually verify the oil level with you. You can also find coupons online for whichever oil change service you want to get! ( I got the conventional) I believe they also offer other services but I didn't look into them too much. I'd definitely come back again!

So I knew emediatly that this man was no mechanice because he didn't know basic physics of smoke and he would not listen to his customer's explaination that the car just sat in the barn for 9 months. It was just a little dust and debris from sitting no fire just a little smoke from a hot exhaust manifold. Anyhow I will never go back so they just lost my next 66 oil changes by being stupid. I was in with a 2006 Ford escape that another place said I needed six plugs and six coils. Dad's found all the calls were found, but found a fuel injector that needed to be replaced. They did a very thorough job at a very fair price. They also did a rear brake job the previous place that I need a caliper, but I don't. I'll definitely come back.

Dropped truck off on a Thursday the 6th. Supposed to get it back on Monday the 10th. Actually got it back on Saturday the 22nd after many calls saying we are almost there.They never called me for anything else found they just repaired it at a cost of $1300.00 more! Never consulted with me if I could afford this or not !! I had to dig deep into savings for this even though I hated to do it. I would have appreciated a consult before the repair. It's scary to think what would have happened if I couldn't pay the extra money. They would have kept my vehicle so on and so fourth. To add insult to injury my truck sounds worse now than it did when I took it in. Drive to Toyota and the timing is way off! Made an appointment with Toyota to remedy timing. And then pay them, I should have taken it to Toyota in the first place, would have only cost me a few hundred dollars more. I could take it back to dads but at what cost? Keep my truck for two weeks again. Would they find a whole slew of other things to throw money at? Never called me the first time why would they call me this time.
