I went to this location right after getting off work today. I was past due for an oil change and my usual place is a couple states away since I've been traveling. Luckily I got there just before the rush so I didn't have to wait to pull into a lane. They have three service lanes and just a few minutes into my oil change I noticed the lines forming in the back. The young man who was handling my transaction was extremely friendly and informative. I've never been to a quick change location before so that put me at ease. They have the transaction screens right next to your door. When they check your filters they show them to you and discuss the condition they're in. I felt like the young man was honest in discussing with me that my filters are almost to the point where I'd need to change them but that they should still be good until my next oil change. He helped me reset the oil change maintenance light too. They also visually verify the oil level with you. You can also find coupons online for whichever oil change service you want to get! ( I got the conventional) I believe they also offer other services but I didn't look into them too much. I'd definitely come back again! read more

I just pulled in to get the oil changed and get the some air in the tires. But the operator look at a little smoke coming out from under the hood and told me to pull out because the smoke could go down into the pit and harm his worker. So I knew emediatly that this man was no mechanice because he didn't know basic physics of smoke and he would not listen to his customer's explaination that the car just sat in the barn for 9 months. It was just a little dust and debris from sitting no fire just a little smoke from a hot exhaust manifold. Anyhow I will never go back so they just lost my next 66 oil changes by being stupid. Valvoline is my go-to for oil changes in Lima! I appreciate how quick their service is and that I can just stay in my car while they work. Their work definitely runs a little pricey but it's worth it for the quality of work you get. I always leave with clean oil, topped off fluids, and aired up tires. read more

I've have taken both my cars to this location and I've been happy every time. Sometimes I have to wait a couple minutes since I might be 2nd in line. They make service suggestions based on the car manufacturers guidelines and give me the cost up front. They always honor the coupons that I bring in. I don't always see the same technicians when I visit but everyone has always been thorough in checking the lights, all the fluids, the engine and in-cabin filters, the wipers, the tire pressure. To start this place is incredibly expensive. Nowhere in the area will you find an oil change that costs as much is here. But the reason I will not return is it when I was getting an oil change they have one person doing the oil change the other person will check what they're doing. After the one technician tightened down the cap with a torque wrench he asked the other technician for a visual check, and he said check. The only problem was the guy that said check was walking in from outside the building and he was at least 20 feet from the hood of my car. I asked him why they did that If you're not even gonna look at it and he just straight up lied to me and told me he did. It was insane that he would attempt the lie then stick to it. It was the most disrespected I've ever been. Blown away is how I describe the treatment. Almost all the employees are just college students who won't be there very long. It really shows. I am a busy traveler, both personally and professionally, so I depend on my vehicle to perform optimally at all times. Since I tend to be a habitual Ipassedtheoilchangedate (again) customer, I am always confident that I will receive helpful service and suggestions each visit. I'm so impressed. Being a busy college student, I value my time off campus. I picks Valvoline because it said Instant in the name and it truly is! I pulled into the bay and within 10 minutes my car was done and I was on my way. I didn't even have to get out of my car. As for the price, you are paying for a great fast service. The most basic oil change is $40ish, which isn't bad considering everything they do along with changing the oil and the fast service. Their website also have $5 and $7 off coupons for an oil change, so don't forgot to use those resources! I will definitely be back! read more

I am a female and have had my oil changed here several times and they have LIED about repairs that my car needs. Like changing the transmission fluid and the serpentine belt, I took my car to another place and they said NEITHER of those things needed replaced/changed. Valvoline is trying to scam young women that go to get an oil change. read more

I went in on Sunday and there were no cars being worked on. I drove up and it was very impersonable, as if I was interrupting their day. Believe it or not it was the first time I went to an oil changing place where they didn't try and upsell anything. I got home and there was a strange noise coming from under my hood so I popped the hood, the air filter compartment wasn't put back together and I lost all of the screws that held everything down. Didn't go back to have them replace the screws, just went to Autozone and did it myself because I didn't want to go through that awful customer service experience again read more

Went for a simple oil change. They complicate it. They try to force you into synthetic oil, especially if you send your wife. They are NOT good people. I am frustrated because they might have sabotaged my vehicle because I wouldn't put their synthetic oil in my car. read more
