The entire crew was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had a trailer attached to our Truck, and they allowed us to park the trailer on site. Once we unhook it we got taken care of for an oil change today. We were driving by Oklahoma City on our way to Texas, and we truly appreciate the prompt service. Ok, after taking my truck in for an oil change three times here's the conclusion. DONT TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE ANYMORE. First experience noticed very high price for the oil change and done very poorly. Only 2 staff members working causing the work to be done half A!!. Took over an hour to get it done also. Second experience Still same service as before with only 2 staff members and the price was ridiculous. Take 5 is supposed to make sure everything is topped off even your tire pressure. And they clean your window on your way out. Not this Take 5. Expect a very poorly done oil change and sent on your way. 3rd and final experience.. Got a coupon this time for $25 off the oil change so figured paying less than $200 this time would be nice. Still the same service as before with only 2 staff members and now they were trying to up sale extra services. Like flush your coolant. Obviously I said no. Same hour or more service and was on my way. Next day I smell coolant and realize my coolant reservoir cap is missing. So now I had to replace a cap and about a gallon and a half of coolant. So much for saving $25..lol never again.. Don't recommend. read more

Take 5? Or take a hour and change? Not worth the wait. Got here at 2pm with one car already in the bay, took 50 minutes to finish them up. Ok, maybe the customer was difficult? No big deal. I pull up, and sit for the next 20 minutes without so much as a word from them. That's where I'm at now, almost a hour and a half deep, 20 minutes in the bay itself and nothing. Not a popped mileage check, vin run, no questions. Don't recommend at all, the other take 5's I go to run about 10-15 minutes, which is amazing. This one is terrible, not to mention they've got 5 people up top and atleast 1 down low so it's not like they're under staffed. That's 2 people per bay read more

Pulled in at 6:30. Gentleman came out at 6:40 to tell me he would not be taking anymore cars for the day since he closes at 7. I said are you kidding me. He then got mad when i said i would leave a review and call the manager. Waited in the parking lot to write this review two cars pulled out right after i was refused service. I was WAITING for about 45min My total time spent there was a little over an hour. They were not busy. There was 3 cars that got worked on before mine. There was 3 guys there , taking smoke breaks, or walking off, simply not caring. They didn't even give me a sticker to know when to get my next oil change. It is really a shame because I liked this place before. It's close to home and a good price. However I will not be going back. This is my second bad experience here. My son just took a 2014 bmw 325 to them to change the oil, 4 dudes couldn't figure out how to put the oil filter back on. They never reset the dash lights. Overall, the the experience was "fine". I pulled up, I was the only one there, and it took them a bit to acknowledge me. They were clearly opening boxes and restocking stuff, so no big deal. They have me pull in and get started. They have this "zombie" demeanor. They weren't rude or anything, just clearly didn't want to be there. Again, that's fine, I would feel that way having to work on a Sunday too. They worked pretty quick and smooth. Next thing is short and simple: pricing. It's quite high. $103.00 for a conventional high mileage oil change using their house oil. I normally use someone else but they aren't open Sundays and I really needed to get the oil changed and Take 5 was open. So, 3 stars in my opinion. 3 stars for speed and availability. On October 8th, 2022, I took my vehicle to Take 5 Oil Change on Reno and Council. While I was there, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. They were singing offensive songs, swearing, and making racist comments and jokes. After they completed the oil change and I returned home, I noticed oil was pouring out of my vehicle. I returned on October 10th, 2022 to the same location and asked to speak to the manager. I informed him of the staff's unprofessional behavior and the oil leak. They inspected my vehicle and did confirm there was oil leaking but said they couldn't see why. They checked the oil levels on the dipstick and told me it was safe to drive. I returned home and let it sit in my garage. The oil leak got worse. I returned on October 13th, 2022 and informed the manager the leak did not stop and now the engine was smoking. The manager and a crew member did confirm the leak but kept saying they were not responsible. I asked for the contact information for the district manager but was refused. The manager called his manager and was told to fill out a Claim Inspection Form. The manager then told me to take my van to a very specific Meineke at a very specific time and date and ask for a specific person. I informed the manager I did not feel comfortable with that as my vehicle is under warranty at Aamco because I just had the transmission rebuilt. I was then berated and informed that the vehicle would have to be inspected by their mechanics or they wouldn't be able to do anything. I have asked to be contacted by a manager several times but they will not contact me. read more

This is the 4th time I have been here. Only because it's close. The first time I waited an hour and a half. The second time they didn't reset the oil life. Last time they changed a wiper for me and charged me for an oil filter that they didnt change. The wiper keeps scooting up wiping above the windshield so I have to get out in the rain to scoot it down. I came today to get it fixed. Its been over 1 1/2 hrs waiting. One crew working. So three bays one crew. When I pulled up they asked me to pop my hood, I did, they never looked under the hood. I just saw that they never shut it so out in the rain I go to shut it myself. I mentioned that another place left the large washers off the engine cover bolts (If you don't have them the bolts pull straight through the plastic) I heard the manager relay this to the guy under the car. When I got home, I checked under the car and the cover was hanging down. The bolts had been removed and replaced without the washers again. Came in with my truck a few months back had oil changed, air filter, and cabin filter replaced. About a week later oil spot under truck in parking spot check oil filter and it was extremely loose. Told myself ok it was over looked no big deal. I went back about a week ago and when I pulled in I told them to make sure the oil filter was tightened as last time it was not and what happened. I was reassured that the beat man was working on it and that it was double checked. GUESS WHAT went to go to work this morning and oil under truck had to tighten filter up. I started using this business for my oil changes about a year ago. Below are the three reasons I give them one star. 1. I had a 2017 Mazda Miata. The second time I had my oil changed they didn't secure the the sheet metal that is attached with 9 screws. I ended up driving to a Mazda dealer in Edmond, because my car was making a horrible racket. The dealership informed me the protective plate was barely hanging in place. Thankfully, they fixed it for me at no charge. 2. The next time I went in for an oil change I arrived at 5:30pm. They wouldn't do my oil change, because they were cleaning the bays for the next day. Website hours clearly stated they closed at 6pm. IMHO, they need to change their hours or keep one bay open until 6pm. I told them I would return when I got back into town in a couple of days. 3. I return for my oil change and all 3 bays are occupied with a vehicle waiting to pull into bays 2 & 3. Okay, I'll pull in behind the car in bay 1. I and the other two cars have been waiting to see movement in front of us for about 15 minutes. An employee comes up to my car and tells me I can pull in next, but I will have to wait another 20 minutes, because the guy next to me arrived before me. Customer service is clearly a priority at Take 5. The employees were friendly and fast. They offer you free water and get you in and out quickly. I arrived right after work, and there were about four cars ahead of me. It took about 25 minutes to get into the bays and only about 10 minutes for the oil change. Meanwhile, I sat in my car and listened to my audio book. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the high side. The good news is that they only do oil changes, so they aren't going to try to up sell you on a bunch of unnecessary mechanical work. read more

One of the tasks that I absolutely dread is getting my oil changed. I have been wanting to visit Take 5 Oil Change since they opened and I finally decided to try them out. I went early today hoping to beat the rush and was pleasantly surprised when I pulled up and no one was in the bay. A staff member greeted me with a bottle of water, which was a nice welcome. Once inside the bay, I was instructed that I could stay in my car, woohoo, no sitting on an uncomfortable chair. The staff was pleasant and keep me updated on the needs of my car. They did not try to upsell me, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. The oil change itself only took about 20 minutes and I was on my way. This service station is a JOKE!! The service "manager" is one of the worst. He is very unprofessional and very disrespectful towards customers. They made a mistake and he didn't like that I brought it to their attention even after I had talked to them about the oil in the drip pan being an issue on my last oil change. They advised they would clean it so no oil would drip onto my driveway again. Well they failed again on this and I have multiple oils spots on my fairly new driveway. Will never go back there and if you encounter this particular "manager" well good luck with him he is a piece of work. He literally snatched my receipt out of my hand when I asked for a refund to help offset having my driveway cleaned. He needs an anger management class and needs to go through customer service 101 to learn a few things or even find a different career. read more

You sit in your car and they assist you with everything your car needs. They also give you water and it's so fast! Well crap, these guys are good. I always change my old oil, but sometimes you need a little help when your oil plug seizes up. It happened on a Sunday, and they are one of the few places open. I called them and told them what was wrong and they said come right over. They loosened the plug for me so I can get it off of my own and gave me a new one all for free. Who does that? if you want a couple of nice guys to give you a quick oil change if you can't do it yourself... Go here. And if I ever get lazy and stop doing my own oil, guess where I'm gonna go?
