Claimed it was my fault for not some how booking the appointment for the alignment. Not shure how else to book an appointment only for tires when I stated I wanted all new tires and an alignment. Perhaps there is some secret smoke signal that allows one to include a booking for an alignment. Will be waisting another day off to finish the incompleted work.

Tried to get my vehicle aligned on 9/4, and coming around 2 hours it was announced the tech was was…read morehaving issues with rear toe but was newer to alignments so to come back when master tech would be there, so we rescheduled to 9/6. Took it in again and they worked on it for close to couple hours but again only started with rear. They couldn't get it in, and made a suggestion of throwing parts at it to try because they couldn't get it in spec, or some work around possibilities to not fix the issue but be "corrected". They didn't even touch the front or have anything corrected otherwise but wanted to charge for full alignment being done "because I ate up their time and my vehicle should un-drivable with the current alignment". Well to charge for alignment then should've at least aligned the front. There was no talking to them once I said about the front not even being done, and how can you charge for an alignment without even touching the front, which was just told you can go.

I can't fairly say I know 100% that this was a "car was sold/bait and switch tactic" but it's improbable that after being on the market for six months that it was sold in one hour just after I inquired about it. She had pre-approved financing and had checkbook in hand. We test drove a used 2017 Fusion, liked it and made an offer $500 below the asking price. The dealer declined the offer and steadfastly stuck with the advertised price, offering to include an oil change. No other counter offer was made. She declined and we left. Two days later, the dealer contacts her and states that they believe some sort of deal can be had, as both sales managers are on the floor (whatever that means). She repeats her offer made two days prior. They AGAIN say they cannot meet it and make no counter offer. The price remains as advertised. We noticed the same day, the advertised priced INCREASED by approximately $200!! Up to that point, it was just a matter of a failed negotiation however, calling her back and suggesting that a deal can be made, only to AGAIN offer the car at advertised price really angered her. A week later, they reduce the advertised price to EXACTLY the amount offered by my significant other . The dealership never bothered to call her back to close the deal. She ultimately purchased a used 2018 Fusion from a small PA Lincoln dealer, one model year newer with 8,000 fewer miles and for less money, at a lower rate in what turned out to be one of the best car buying experiences she had ever had. Ultimately, things worked out for the best. To say that I am disappointed with Donnell Salem is an understatement. I am embarrassed for having recommended this dealer to her.
