I searched on IG for " sound bath healing Bay Area" and Saisha is one of the three ladies I reached out to as I was specifically looking for Black or POC practitioners. I sent a DM to each, but for whatever reason, I decided to look up Saisha's phone number and reach out instead. Saisha answered promptly and was just as excited as I was about the idea I had. I was only a week away from my event and she was available and very informative about what she could provide and all the services she does. I didn't feel pressured at all to do more and less than what I wanted. Her energy on the phone was the same in person, and I appreciated her combo of professionalism with warmth. I had been sitting outside of unit 4, but she asked me to wait in a different area, which is when I realized she has two rooms. At first, my impression was that she wasn't particularly friendly--she didn't smile and seemed a bit cold. However, I have to say that her massage was excellent! But earlier this year i met my match.  I had a severe, sharp nerve pull that began from my shoulder blades and spread throughout my mid back. For two nights I tried all known home remedies to little to no avail. Each morning the sharp, throbbing pain became worse. It was then that I decided to seek professional therapy. I googled a few promising therapeutic massage services and took a shot with one that I felt offered the best solution to my problem.  By Grace, I made the best choice! I was introduced to Natalie, who truly has a passion and gift for this line of work. I've had quite a few massages in the past with therapist who clearly were doing it for the money without passion or the empathic temperament to produce genuine results, but with Natalie, that is not the case. She clearly understood the source of my discomfort and before proceeding with the massage she explained the techniques that she intended to apply. Throughout the one hour massage, she skillfully performed the trigger point technique, activated isolated stretch technique, deep tissue and myofascial release techniques.  These four techniques effectively targeted the nerve pull and I left that massage facility with almost full body motion results! I truly did not expect such immediate results. I drove back home that afternoon able to turn my head from left to right without any sharp pains and slept very well. Franny is the best massage therapist in the valley and she has been my massage therapist on and off…read moresince 2015. There was a year or so in there that I needed to see other massage therapists, and let me tell you--I've gone to six other massage therapists in the East Valley, and while many of them were good, they just were not Franny.  It's hard to describe massage, but the best way I can think is to say her touch is both comforting and soothing, while therapeutic and healing. In other words, she is working your muscles, but you don't feel like someone is beating you up (as I have felt with some massage therapists.) I feel like with most therapists, you either get someone who is really great at working out your pain and knots -- but it feels kind of terrible -- or you get someone who's touch feels nice, but your knots and muscle aches aren't better after the session. Franny massages in a way that gives you both a therapeutic touch and a comforting touch. You can tell by the way she works on you that she cares about you and about her work.  I was so excited when I found out she was doing mobile massages because I did not feel safe going to a massage business where you are breathing a lot more people's air. She brings everything she needs for your massage, including a really comfy massage table and nice sheets. She wipes it all down in front of you, which helps with the COVID nerves. She wears a mask the entire time, also important for COVID times. She has a speaker system to play massage music and aromatherapy options. So you may be at home, but you'll still get the spa experience. The set-up and takedown of equipment does not take time away from hands-on massage. At most massage businesses, an hour massage is really a lot more like 45 minutes. Franny will give you the massage time you paid for.  As long as Franny is in business, she will be my massage therapist. No one else compares.
