In all my life, I have never attended Mass at a church where the parishioners were so cold, unfriendly and like a clique. The interior of the church is bare and cold and parishioners are old and cold. They only talk to the members of their "clique ". The pastor is too busy "glad handing" the next person coming out of church. There are no meaningful exchanges with him. I tried to be friendly, acknowledged that we had a friend in common, but the next time that I saw him, he was totally oblivious to me. When covid came along, I was glad to watch Sunday Mass on TV and I got more out of it than I ever did from attending Mass here in person.

We were there for a Saturday mass (they have two, 4:30 and 6:30) and the mass was packed. I'd estimate about 800 worshippers. The interior of the church is very beautiful and done in a modern style. Has soaring ceilings and lots of stained glass. The mass itself was traditional. One thing that struck me as odd was that there were no acolytes, only the priest and a reader. Although there is plenty of parking, the sheer number of worshipers means that it's going to be difficult to leave the parking lot and get back out onto bestgate road. Music was good. Communion was carried out under both species.

Our inspection showed the inside of the church interior to be in typical post-Vatican II style. There is no organ. There is a high quality concert-size piano. The chapel is the entrance area of the church itself. In the entrance of the church proper, there is a nice sized eight-sided baptism font. There are church chairs instead of pews. As far as the services go, I appreciate the Anglican liturgy and the celebration of communion each week. It is meaningful. As far as the people go, we immediately found community at Redeemer. People were warm and welcoming. We spent the past 5 years in a different part of the country where we never found a church with community and we immediately found it here. The preaching is always edifying from both the Rector (lead pastor) and the associate. I always learn and am always challenged.
