Enjoyed a lovely late lunch/early dinner meal here. We initially had our eye on La Mer, although the host offered us the option of downstairs (La Mer) or upstairs (Talento), so we went with upstairs.
Service was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered cocktails and then perused the food options. I didn't get past the "Mexican dishes" section and we easily decided to share the Tabla de Tacos. This dish is eight delicious tacos -- two each of birria, roasted pork, short rib, and tuna. Plus pellizicadas, which are these tiny tasty bites with a masa base and, in this case, beans and cheese on top. Oh, and salsas. Obviously. It was the perfect amount of food for two to share as an entree... or more people to share as a starter.
We did save room for dessert, especially given that it was my birthday and I saw molten dulce de leche on the menu. Yes please! This dessert takes some time for them to prepare, which was perfect since we were already quite full from the tacos. When our server brought the dessert, he insisted I video their presentation and I'm glad he did because I would have regretted not capturing it. Oh, and it was also wonderful to eat. read more
