The mall is a long boomerang shape with food court in middle, Bass Pro at one end, the other end has Funland and restaurants outside the West entrance. Lots of families come here however only the middle washroom by the rood court has family room. The washrooms at either end don't have family rooms which I thought was interesting as they advertised the mall as family oriented. You would have thought that they will have at least one family room at each end too. The men's washroom has a counter to change diaper but no padding/baby change table so bring a foldable change mat. There is an enclosed play area for babies to crawl/run around and a stroller area to leave your stroller. It is near the Marshalls/The Children's Place stores, west of food court. Good place to just walk around.

When I called the 1 800 number for help with my order, my customer service agent couldn't speak English and I could not understand them. when I asked a question or clarification they would give me an answer that I could not understand or nothing to do with what I asked. All I got out of the conversation is that I had to reorder my order to get it and they are holding my money to make sure U can paid for my order that I have not received??????????? Nothing made sense. The worst customer service, how can you get help from someone who can't speak English!!!!!!! So I ordered my order again, this time choosing pick up at a store location. I got an email the next day saying my order was ready for pick. I thought ok this going well. Maybe I just have to order for pick up at a store location. The email said to let them know you are coming to pick up your order by clicking this link. I clicked the link and nothing happened. I went to the store. No one was at customer service and it took 5 minutes to find someone to help. I let them know I clicked the link on the email I received and I am here to pick up my order. They checked the system and said they don't have any picks at the store. I gave him my information for my order, they called for someone over the PA system then was doing something on their cellphone even though there was a line up of people behind me???????? After 5 minutes or so they finally got off their cellphone called the person on the PA again then helped another customer. I waited for over 15 mins for someone to come to the customer service desk to help them with my order. While I was waiting I noticed a more than four employees talking groups and being on their cellphones texting or doing something other than working or helping customers while people where self checking themselves out. I thought WOW is this what it has come too!!!!!! Walmart making more money off their customers for not having to pay for cashiers for check out and have their customers check themselves out while their employees are being paid to play or text on their cellphones, ignoring customers. I finally got my order after 20 mins in the store. They told me the link in the email only works if you are close to the store and you can only use it in the app not in emails on your computer. When I got home I noticed I got charged for the first order that didn't come and the second order. I am working with my credit card company to sort that out. Why did I get charged twice???? I still don't know and the people at the store didn't know either. I hate Amazon and I don't order from them but after this experience I might have to go back. At least they deliver your order or give you a full refund when you don't get your order.

The food is really the main event here for me. There are so many unique eats and you can basically walk around grazing the whole time. The chow mein is a must every single visit, and I never skip the dim sum--especially the har gow which is honestly so good. The ice cream and dessert stalls are also worth saving room for because they're half the experience. It's definitely not somewhere I personally go for shopping. The stalls are there, but the quality isn't really the focus, and I usually just stick to the food side of things.

The washrooms are available ( thank goodness) but not in the greatest condition. There are 2 levels to Richmond's Public Market, The ground floor has the market of fresh produce, seafood, meats, herbs, gifts, electronics, flowers, set up like a Chinese outdoor market . Although I never get to check out the ground level during both visit since we were here early and not open yet. But my favorite is the 2nd level, this is where the foodies will reunite, the food court, So many Asian foodies selection, from Szechuan, Taiwanese, noodles, dumplings, boba tea, even Vietnamese too, there's too many to list. The reason I made a stop here twice was for Hei Hei rice rolls, which I am pretty sure If you know, you know. I grab from 2 other shops here. Tables were provided which I was able to enjoy our rice rolls and also got take out for later. * cash only, since credit cards are not accepted, we used the ATM to take out some cash/CAD but the fees were ridiculous, better to be prepared next time and exchange $$ upon arrival to Richmond, BC. Great nostalgic place (30+ years) to visit, don't judge by the looks of it. Now extended hours and open until 8:00 pm!
