She's very warm and friendly, and I've always gone away satisfied with my nails. The one experience I had with Ashley was also very good as well. However I haven't had very good experiences with some of the other aestheticians. One of the aestheticians started out with the wrong colour and then had to remove it which I found a little annoying. However today was probably the worst experience I had there. I had a gel manicure appointment with their junior aesthetician. Only after just walking out did I realize that she had missed the very tips of my nails. So I decided to go back in so she could fix it. However after fixing it, my nails just had a dark streak at the top, which I also pointed out. After that she decided to remove the gel and start over. This time she made an obvious effort to be meticulous (which was appreciated). But because of this, a 45 minute manicure turned into a 2.5 hour manicure. Then when I left a second time, I noticed air bubbles. Tired from being there 2 hours already and not seeing a solution, I just decided to go home. That's not to say anyone should write this place off completely. The customer service and relaxing atmosphere are great, and if you get the right aesthetician, they do a good job. But altogether, I guess they're a little inconsistent.

They asked if I wanted a drink and I requested tea. I have to say, the tea was incredible. I would go back just for the tea. I've had many manicures before, but never has a manicure lasted so long without chipping. Granted, I had the week off. Even still, I'm a girl who very rarely has nail polish on and use my nails for many things. The polish lasted 1.5 weeks until truly chipping The lady who did my nails was wonderful, we talked the entire time and I enjoyed that. Sometimes I don't want to talk, but this time I found it enjoyable. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to all my friends.

I don't know if its the curling iron or her but I am going to guess its her. I hadn't had my hair cut in more than a year because I have some horror stories and don't trust anyone. After calling in and explaining my situation I decided to try because we clicked on the phone. She's even better in person! Getting your hair cut by Jenae is like going to your friends house and hanging out for an hour - leaving with, of course, a hair cut. Both my daughters will be going here from now on along with myself. She understands me and she understands my hair. Perfect because my hair and I love her!!! Don't even get me started with price... She could definitely charge more... I've paid more for a lot worse. I wish I had somehow found her sooner, would have saved me so much headache and so many dead ends. I almost didn't write this because I don't think I can describe in words how amazing she is. I think you need to go in yourself. To see is to believe... as corny as that sounds. I called on a Friday afternoon to see if they had space for a walk-in. I was surprised to hear them say yes. They were able to get me in not even 2 hours later. It's located in the medical plaza right off of 56th, so there is plenty of parking close by. It can be hard to miss, so just make sure you don't go inside the building because it's located to the right next to the entrance. Ken and his family were so kind and welcoming. I didn't have to wait at all. We were able to chat throughout my whole appointment and I got to hear about why they started their business, why they moved from Vietnam and all about their family. It was a great conversation. On top of that, they did a fantastic job with my nails. I was actually so impressed that I called my mom and told her that this was our new nail salon. They have plenty of colours to choose from and also offer waxing services. Will update my review once I've tried out their waxing services. I called in advance to book an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure, and luckily was able to snag an appointment for the same day. I was very impressed with the health and safety measures Bay Nails was taking. Upon entering, you're required to wear a mask. The staff are all wearing masks, there are plexiglass in between you and the esthetician, and they socially distance each customer. I was able to get my mani and pedi at the same time, which was a time saver. I wish I remembered the two ladies who did my mani/pedi but they were both lovely. Quick, efficient, massaged my hands and feet well, and left my hands and toes looking and feeling pretty and fresh. Plus, they have plenty of pretty colours to choose from. At the end, she gave me a loyalty punch card so that I could get a free mani after 10 trips. At this point I've tried every nail salon in Tsawwassen, and for the price and quality, Bay Nails will be my new go to moving forward.
