The first one was to be given to Lauderbach Construction to start the job and the second to be given upon completion. Here's the deal... not only did he do fantastic work, was knowledgeable and answered all my questions, but on the final day he called and told me he was going to have my property manager tear up the 2nd check! Why? Because he didn't have to do as extensive work as he originally thought, because it took a little longer than he originally thought and because he knew the trouble I'd had with the home even before I contacted him.
