Completely unacceptable experience with Tallahassee Ford and the final straw for me as a customer. I scheduled my vehicle for service in advance and used their valet pickup service for 9:30 a.m. from the parking garage where I work. I gave detailed pickup and return instructions and made sure they had my correct phone number. My vehicle was picked up on time and I watched it arrive at the dealership through their tracking app. After that, I received no call, no text, and no update for hours. At 2:30 p.m., I had to call them myself only to find out they had no idea what was going on with my vehicle. I was asked when it was dropped off and what it was there for, even though THEY picked it up through THEIR valet service and my appointment was already scheduled. I was then told the valet driver did not properly check the car in. That is still no excuse. My appointment was on the schedule, and any organized service department should have figured out why a scheduled customer vehicle was sitting there untouched all day. They also tried to blame having the wrong phone number, which was false. I gave my number when I booked, to the valet driver, and again to the manager. No one chose to call me. I asked multiple times to speak with the owner and got excuse after excuse why he could not come to the phone. To make it worse, they returned my vehicle to the wrong parking garage, so after work I had to walk multiple garages trying to find my own car. After having my vehicle from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., they completed absolutely no service. This is the third issue I have had with this dealership. Not sure the current service model is designed for the customer. Maybe in this post-pandemic world of high demand and scarcity of employees this is what we have to put up with but I've got to say that making multiple trips over several weeks to get something taken care of seems a little much. Came in July 27th for routine mileage service and mentioned that the passenger side door lock was not working. They took care of the routine service but told me they would have to schedule another appointment for the door lock issue and the first available appointment was September 25th. When I came in for that appointment they only did diagnostic to determine the problem and then said they would have to order the part. Part came in quickly and now I am finally back to get the door lock fixed. I don't think I will come here in the future for repairs not covered by a warranty. P.S. The folks have been really nice every time I've been here. read more

Current Experience: I brought my Ford Mustang in on Nov 24, 2025 10:15am due to the radio not working. Mike was my service rep. Mike told me the piece ($751.00) that was being put into my car would fix the issue and we agreed on the price. Dec 3, 2025 I received a vehicle inspection link which reflected almost $3,000 worth of service that Mike and I never spoke about. I called and spoke with Mike to ask why was the extra work done without my approval. I requested to speak with a supervisor and Mike refused to let me speak with a supervisor. Mike wanted to work a deal with him waiving some items and my total would be almost 1400.00. On Dec 15, 2025 I requested a call from Mike but never received a phone call pertaining to services and payment. Due to me just using Sunbit to complete repairs on my Camry and making the final payment, I was told by Sunbit to wait 24hr (Dec 19, 2025) before submitting an application for Ford. Mike never called me nor sent the Sunbit link as we both agreed. Jan 2, 2026 I received a text message stating Tallahassee Ford had made several attempts to call me and I would have to be billed storage fees. I contacted Tallahassee Ford the same day and requested to speak with a supervisor which was Eric. I explained to Eric how Mike failed to provide the link and approved services we never spoke about. Eric told me he would look into the situation and contact me by end of business Jan 2, 2026. Eric returned my called and admitted that Mike never attempted to call me and he did in fact do services that was not previously approved. I explained to Eric that I would be coming to pick up my car on Jan 3, 2026 due to the bad experience, the lies and I received a phone call from Ford asking did I want to sale my mustang. Eric gave me his cell number but due to him being off he told me to contact a rep that would be on duty. At 1p on Jan 3, 2026 I requested to pick with that individual but was told he was at lunch. I briefly explained the situation about pleaded with the receptionist to make sure he gets my message. The receptionist promised to follow back up with me within the 1hr. The entire day went past and I received no phone call. I called Tallahassee Ford and requested to speak with Richard the head supervisor. I explained the entire situation and how unsatisfied I was. Due to me being across town I told Richard I would be to Tallahassee Ford on Jan 5, 2026 Monday morning 8am to get my mustang. Richard stated he would be there and have everything ready. Richard even stated he would waive a fee off the bill. Monday morning at 8am Jan 5, 2026 I contacted Richard and told him I had an emergency at work and would be there later, he stated ok. I also requested Richard to go back and listen to the recorded phone calls of how Mike mislead me and how he refused to let me speak with a supervisor initially. I also requested Richard to listen to the recorded call of Eric calling my back stating everything I have experienced was intend true. Richard stated he would go back and listen to the phone calls and contact me by the evening. Richard never contacted me. I contacted Tallahassee Ford at about 5pm giving them a heads up that I was on my way to get my car. I requested to speak with Richard and was told he already left for the day. Once I arrived at Tallahassee Ford the receptionist told me that someone spoke with Richard and everything was ready to go. At this point I started recording with my Meta glasses. I encountered a service rep that gave me a receipt for the full price. I asked about why Richard didn't waive what he stated he would. The rep asked me what was it that he stated he would waived. As I went to explain the rep rudely cut me off. He pulled out his phone and said he would just call Richard which is what I requested in the 1st place. The rep stated Richard is at home with his family and wasn't answering. I requested for him to try again in which he stated no. He would not continue to call Richard. The rep stated Richard told him that I would need to come back tomorrow if I wanted to speak with him. I requested the name and contact to the person that runs Tallahassee Ford. The rep act as if he was going to get a card and came back and said he spoke with Richard and they were just going to give me my car back and for me to step outside and they would drive my car around. After waiting outside the rep came to me and stated my car isn't ready nor was it drivable. This entire interaction was recorded by my Meta glasses. I requested to see my car so I can document the condition it was in. The rep left with a technician and went behind the building. I contacted TPD and started walking around the building as well. I encountered them taking and removing parts and pieces out of my car the passenger side door was open with the technician bent inside. The service department at this dealership was one nightmare after the other. After 7 days and $1500 (because we refused to pay any more for them to make our car worse) we ended up having to trade in our car it was so messed up. They fixed nothing! The story is too long to even go into it. It's a group of clowns over there and no one knew their head from their butt- totally incompetent. Needed to fix an electrical issue, got a text to come pick it up a following Thursday, come to pick it up snd now they say it's not ready because the wrong part was ordered. ??? You said it was ready and now you're saying the techs haven't even touched it. Fine, whatever. I come back to pick it up the following Tuesday but am told it's good to go on Monday. Guess what? I can't even contact services to even see if my car is done yet. Are they just a skeleton crew or what? Also services is practically nonexistent, you have better luck just going up to them in person than any attempt to contact them over the phone. I'll start off by saying Brandon was super kind and tried to be as helpful as possible. I took my car to get a recall fixed. Coincidentally less than 24 hours later my car started having issues. I've had this car for years and NEVER had any issues with it. It was stalling out, hesitant when accelerating, and making a weird noise. I called and took it in to get a "diagnostic test". They informed me nothing was wrong with my car. Within days the issues got worse to the point my car was almost impossible to drive and my check engine light turned on. I called and asked to bring it in for another test. I asked for an afternoon appointment due to work and they informed me it would be almost a week out and if I bring it in the afternoon it might not be ready until the next day. They also said they wouldn't have any rental cars available. I arranged a ride and scheduled the afternoon appointment. The next day I walked in (without an appointment) due to the fact my car had started to jerk while going down the road and hesitating when trying to come to a complete stop at a red light. When I arrived they informed me in order to do the test it would be almost $200. They eventually waived the cost after explaining over and over that it started acting up after they messed with it and they had told me prior there was nothing wrong with it when their obviously is. After the test they informed me it is a $750 out of pocket fix. I was FLOORED. I went to get a second opinion and was able to get it fixed somewhere else for less than $200 and it only took the mechanic 15 minutes to fix. I was there for a while due to some confusion and having to get approval from the manager with almost everything which is understandable but added up after a while. Just bought what I thought was a new 2022 Mustang, it was dirty and we had driven 6 hours to get it, so we where a little tired. I should have known then something was wrong, but we continued the car was supposed to be 57999 or something close to that, after discussing to with the so called manger he was supposed to take off another 700. All this time we see no pepper work then you sign on a computer paid still no paperwork then they fold it up and put it in an envelope give it to you and tell you to put you tag in your window. Through all of this we are being told great deal, we get home find out they added 2000 to the price of the car and a 3000 dollar warranty that I never asked for and was never mentioned. Do I recommend them HELL NO!!! I'm looking in to legal actions to see if they broke any laws! read more

The Tallahassee Ford dealership is impossible to reach by phone or text, quite honestly I don't know how they stay in business. I've have two recent service appointments and both as ended poorly. Don't expect the management to care or even bother reaching out to address any concerns. Tried again to give this dealership our money and again couldn't get them to take it. A very first world problem I'm aware. We contacted them last year about ordering a custom transit and had every aspect of the build dialed in. We simply needed an agent to submit it. We came in in person and the agent was super nice. He and I looked at transits and spent time talking about the transits and our build, the timeline and just over all the logistics. Transit is experiencing a heavy delay in production of transits right now which we already knew about and were prepared for. Thomas seemed nice and communicative at first yet then ghosted. We called numerous times and emailed and yet never heard back. We decided since this is the second big issue with the dealership that it will be our last. When we spoke to them before when they turned us away with our other ford we explained that we're pretty loyal to the brand and that we will have another van we'd also like to be able to have serviced and that they're losing both options. At that time they didn't seem to care but I was surprised when this happened. We tried for an extended amount of time to get our van ordered but once we hit a certain point we decided to take our money to Jacksonville. I don't know if this dealership didn't think we were serious or what? But we just drove home with a fully loaded customized transit with every possible coverage option. Our agent for Duval ford (Jacksonville) is amazing. I can't recommend Alan enough. He made the experience so easy and sent numerous pictures along the way to ensure he was meeting our expectations. They really made up for the experiences we had with Tallahassee Ford. Is it sad you have to drive 2.5hrs one way for help? I guess not in fords world. I'm a few miles from Tallahassee ford so the inconvenience is felt yet I'd gladly do it again. We are planning to expand and will be ordering another transit down the line so I without a doubt will be heading to Jacksonville to do business. read more

POOR SERVICE: We had ford put in a new exhaust valve for my 2018 Ford Fusion (after there was a recall for it). We had no problems there HOWEVER I drive my car the next day(just out of the parking lot) and all of a sudden there is a coolant leak. We call them today and they say that the mechanic diagnosed it with the leak PRIOR to the service so there is nothing they can do about it. However we had no issues with a leak prior to the service and its very sketchy especially since they didn't tell us about any "leak" at the end of putting in the valve or the service sheet. Seems like someone screwed up and wrote it on the sheet hoping that they can get out of trouble for making a leak. Terrible service and they offer nothing to do about it except give us an appointment 2 weeks later (which I will have to pay for). I just moved to Tallahassee and I contacted Tallahassee Ford to schedule some maintenance on my F-350, and I'm not taking just an oil change; -Rear drivers side door lock broken. -Steering box replacement. -Tires. I received a recall notice from Ford concerning my 2020 Escape and in December 2021 called my nearest Ford dealership, Tallahassee Ford Lincoln. They said they would call me back as they had a waiting list to do recall repairs. The, silence. On May 25, 2022, I called to find out why I had not received a call. I was told that they were 4 people short in the service department and I might consider going to another nearby Ford dealer in Havana or Perry. I told them this was impossible and that I would be calling Ford. Shortly afterwards someone in their service department called me and and gave me a service date over a month away. He later emailed me, and although I told him the car was a 2020 Escape, his emailed listed my car as a 2016 Edge, which I no longer owned. I have loved owning Ford vehicles but if I have to buy one from this dealership, I would buy another make. A word to the wise: Avoid this Ford dealer. read more

I purchased a 2022 Ford Ranger Lariat new in 2022. It has the 20 year warranty on it for the power train. My entire transmission went out in this truck. I've tried several times to get a hold of someone to resolve this issue. I've left several voice-mails but no one returns my call. Please be aware that if you buy a 40 to 50 k truck brand new that this dealer or Ford as a company will hang you out to dry. As a further update to my review the dealer did reach out to me and a sales manager Diego Cabrera cussed me out. As a potential customer I would emplore you to please do your research on Ford 10 speed transmissions. There are several class action law suits involving the 10 speed transmission in the Ranger and F-150. As a professional business that put a bogus 20 year powertrain warranty on a defective vehicle you'd think that they would attempt to resolve this as opposed to calling me and cussing me out. This is the caliber of dealer that they are and the type of brand that Ford Motor Company has become. read more

BUYER BEWARE - NEW CARS NOT BEING WARRANTIED. I called this morning and had a rather disturbing experience with the a person claiming to be the assistant service manager named Sammy. Two days previously I had called and spoken with Jennifer and set up an appointment this morning 5/12 at 8:45 because the battery on my 2023 Bronco with 4K miles is dying after 2 days. I called this morning to verify a loaner and Sammy from the service department answered and was extremely aggressive. I asked to speak to the service manager and was transferred to another number that went to voice mail. The appointment I had was for 8:45 AM. Everyone at the dealership has a full voice mail that will not accept any additional messages. I drove over directly and spoke to the service manager John. John offered that they were very busy and that the soonest they would be able to look at my car was in July (2 months from now) and they would not be honoring the appointment I already had. He then went on to tell me a story about how his washing machine was really complicated and does not work either. This means I have a 2023 Bronco with 4K miles that is dead and useless. I will need to incur the expense of renting a car while I wait for John to do his job. I would not ever purchase or try to have a car serviced at Tallahassee Ford. I am looking into legal options at present. Buying a Ford right in Tallahassee is a high risk purchase. read more

We got our new truck from Tallahassee Ford, and I would advise you to stay away from them. They delivered the truck, which had a number of unpleasant surprises, like the horn not working, an entire section of the front grill missing, and no gas cap. Oh, and the hubcaps had been removed from what was in the ad and replaced with plastic ones. After MUCH harassment, they have rectified most of this, but today we got another surprise. There's no spare tire! BTW, this is not some cheap junker, but a 2020 turbo-diesal four-wheel that cost well over $50,000. When we called, they actually suggested that we might have stolen the spare tire and sold it and that they couldn't replace it. I had an appointment first thing on a Friday morning. The Ford dealership told me they might not be able to start a diagnostic until Monday and they would probably have to keep it until the middle of the next week. When I made the appointment two months earlier Ford told me they knew knew wha the problem is with my vehicle but could not give me an appointment for two months. So, two months later I take my vehicle to this Ford dealership and was told of the long repair time because they do not know what is wrong with the engine, thus the log repair time. My question is why didn't the dealership tell prior to my appointment that they could not even look at my vehicle until they next day.
