I paid $672 to have the issue repaired. Unfortunately, about three weeks later, my A/C was blowing hot air again. I returned and was told another small part needed to be replaced. After that repair, the A/C only worked for another three weeks before the same problem returned. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. I brought my vehicle back again, and they performed another dye test. I was told they could not find any leaks and that the issue had been resolved. However, it was obvious that it had not been fixed because the refrigerant continued to leak out. The only solution I was offered was to bring the vehicle back each time the A/C started blowing hot so they could recharge the system. I filed complaints through email and made multiple calls to corporate but never received a response. Now, a year later and in the middle of summer, I am still dealing with the same issue that should have been properly diagnosed and repaired during my original visits. I recently took my vehicle to another shop, where they performed the same inspection using dye and immediately found a leak in the evaporator core. The technician stated that it "lit up like a Christmas tree" and could not understand how the leak was missed during previous inspections. They explained that this leak is exactly why my A/C would only stay cold for a few weeks at a time. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Apalachee Parkway location. Had the problem been correctly diagnosed from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision about the repair when I had the funds available. Instead, I spent $672 on repairs that did not solve the problem and am now facing a $2,400 repair bill for an issue that should have been identified much earlier. I will say the front desk workers were polite

I recently had a hybrid battery failure on my 2007 Prius. I deal exclusively with Bass Auto Care (on Capital Circle) and they handled the removal/reinstallation. I understand it's not for amateurs. Several months after that replacement, the rebuilt battery failed. Thankfully, it was warranteed - but regrettably, I was vacationing in NC with the car at the time - and that was definitely a setback since finding a service station that was associated with the warrantee agreement plan needed to be found. Bass Auto received the battery through Liles Auto (CarQuest, actually) and naturally, that battery was manufactured by yet another company. Jared from Liles Auto and Al from Bass Auto were instrumental in getting me back on the road relatively quickly from three states away. Well - that 2nd battery failed again. Now, it was all hands on deck - and Jared as well as Al were determined to make things right. After calling in a lot of favors, they got me back on the road with a perfect hybrid battery pack - and were able to get my expenses from my delays reimbursed as well. This all points to a commitment to their community, their customers, and their brand. I can't say enough about the ethics and attention to detail this operation had in getting me back on the road. I've learned that Jared Liles oversees a number of CarQuest stores in Tallahassee. If you're looking for indisputable ethics - you'll be satisfied here.

this is a heartfelt "thank you review" to all the staff at the ne capital circle location!…read more last friday at 8:00am, i tried to use the location closest to my house, but they were short staffed and wouldn't be able to help me for another hour, i couldn't turn my car off..and i needed to be at work asap. i called the ne cap circle location and explained the situation and that i couldn't shut my car off because my battery was just that bad. they told me to come on over and they would get to as soon as i got there. when i got there, they rembered my name and immediately went to work getting me a new battery installed. i was there a total of 15 minutes, with a new battery, paid and out the door. i am usually nervous about car "stuff" but these guys made me feel so welcome, important, and no push to buy more or upgrade the battery i choose. they are top notch, personal, but professional! i will never go anywhere else for batteries and will drive the extra miles to get to them. i want to thank them so much for the service, the honesty, and the super fast way they got me back on the road. i was at work on time! i mean this with all my heart..they are absolutely the best..and i thank them so much. amy mcknight

WORD OF WARNING A year ago I went to Battery Source for a new car battery. less than 3 months…read morelater I was back because it failed. they put in a new (or so I thought) car battery and in less than a year, I was back. The employee didn't even check the battery, he checked my alternator reading and said he was getting a low readout. I said "what does that mean". He says you need a new alternator. I asked him to still check the battery. I could see through the slit in my hood. He didn't. Still claimed my battery was fine. Left and went to an auto repair shop. New alternator $ 944.75. I don't have that kind of money so came home. Talked to a Certified Mechanic, he asked me many questions, based on what my car was and wasn't doing he said it's your battery and where you got it. Go to an Auto Parts Store and buy a "new" battery, they don't sell REFURBISHED batteries. Went to O' Reilly's. They put in a new battery and checked my alternator the reading was perfect 100%. If I would have trusted the Battery Source I would have spent $944.75 for something I didn't need. If you read this review and need a battery, do not go to Battery Source, Go to an Auto Parts store or even Wal mart. Fool me once SHAME ON YOU, fool me twice- shame on me.
