I'm sorry this place only gets 3 1/2 stars, to me it's a solid four. Huge selection of well-prepared tapas served hot and quickly, great ingredients, everything that came out of the kitchen was at least good and often superb. The only reason this is not five stars is that the service is just ok (though a thankless job for the overworked waiter), and it's not cheap. Still, after ordering the tapas combo plate plus three extra dishes and three beers, the bill was 22 euro per person, and it was a very filling meal. What I liked best: the combo plate was interesting and a good introduction to tapas, but the asparagus was as good as any Michelin-starred restaurant, literally perfect, and the roasted local mushrooms were excellent. Service was a bit slow but not objectionable; as I mentioned earlier, the waiter was overworked. We'd come back, but there are likely a number of places like this in BCN so I wouldn't say it's worth a special trip. A solid choice, though. Recommended. read more
