Taller de Tapas has a good location and good food. I think that this place's food has good looks and the chefs plate it well. And, while the food looks good, it tastes even better. There is a lot of types of food, from Spanish food to American food. It is surprisingly not that expensive and not that long of a wait in such a populated area. I enjoy the environment, and the food helped me "untraumatize" myself from that other place a few days ago. BTW, the place I ate a few days ago was 1-star food. Anyways, there are some down parts. First, there is not very much seating, and the wait during meal times are about 15 minutes, 30 minutes tops. Also, the water comes in plastic bottles, which is not very environmentally friendly, and is just sort of odd to a person that travelled from the United States. You can smell a tad bit of smoke from outside on La Rambla. There is some wine and beer here, if you like alcohol. My family cleaned up the seafood paella in 5 minutes, and it is an average portion, so I think it is good. One thing that is not the best is their service. There is only one single waiter. But, it is actually pretty fast, considering that there is only one. I do not understand why, at this point in time, that this place has only 3.5 stars. Also, the portions for some meals can be your lunch and dinner, so bring a friend or family member if you can!!! :) It is interesting because instead of using AC, they have fans attached to the wall. Something also interesting, is that the placemats are basically as thin as origami paper. So are the menus. This place is worth going for and also could be your daily. I rated it four stars because, like every restaurant, there will most likely need room for improvement. Nice paintings, BTW. ;) read more
